The lobby is always closed. The hours of operation don't match the door. It's giving fraud. I recommend Dunkin' or better buzzed tbh their hours match and better buzzed is so much better I recommend the cinnamon cold brew from there. read more

Ugh this location drives me nuts. Not the physical location, but the service and quality of the store. Physical location is great and super convenient. But why? I don't love Starbucks coffee, will only drink it in a pinch if there is nothing else around however, I just love the set-up of this location. It's huge and roomy and has a wrap around deck. It's never crowded when I go (midday, midweek). The staff is polite and always gets my order correct and I've found their baristas to serve a consistently good latte (which is rare, usually it's hit or miss with most Starbucks). I'm done with this Starbucks. My husband got my usual coffee (iced white mocha, add toffee nut syrup, no whip cream). I don't know what they made but the ticket on my cup doesn't even match what ever they did. It's not a white mocha, it has whip cream and no toffee not syrup. First I want to pay the greatest compliment to a supervisor at this Starbucks location by the name of Dakota. She was highly impressive when there was a problem that I had experienced because she was empathetic and caring about my experience! She listened to me and understood and agreed with me which made me think she truly cares for her customers. This is so important to have such a caring and understanding supervisor at a business. How can your employee take a "drive thru order" on the other side of the building closer to McDonald's, with HIS ipad while theres no one else behind the car nor the front of the line is already near the drive thru window! Teach your employees to tell the customer to move up like the rest of the line in front of them, you can walk them while taking their orders, if McDonald's, In N out and chick fil a can do it so can your employees. My husband and I got confused and went to the order screen and was told we "cut the line" there was only one car and we thought at first they were just helping them out with directions till after he said he was taking their order, so he told us he wouldn't take our order if we didnt go around the building behind that one car. One of the nicer Starbucks I've been to...and I've been to a lot! Lol very big and spacious. Lots of seating both inside and out, an impressive amount of seats. The staff and drinks are typical of any other Starbucks you go to. I usually come during morning rush, so not sure if they are more personable when things are slower. I order a rather obnoxious DIY type of drink and refuse to look like an ass at the drive thru so mobile order makes me feel less guilty. If there was an exemplary Starbucks for SoCal -WITH DECENT SOCAL PEOPLE- it's this place. As a student I would visit here a lot to work on homework and projects and there's only plenty of space so it doesn't usually feel too crowded. People doing w/e they are doing in the men's room for 30 freakin minutes was bad enough, now you have all these loud, rude males that come here and play games all day. They take ALL the chairs, and ok we got past that but OH MY GOD THE SMOKING. It's in YOUR policy that SMOKING is prohibited on the premises, so WHY is this an issue??? I've asked them nicely to go smoke farther away from the patio and they wave me off patronizingly and ignore me. This location is a very close to my job, so I come here when I need breakfast on the way into work. Their opening at this location was a little rough, long wait in drive thru and my latte was only 3/4 full . The staff that was manning the drive thru at that time was not very personable looked quite flustered. I was there today, and I think their finally getting it... Wait during drive thru was not long at all, my order was correct full Latte to the rim and I was thanked and wished for me to have a nice day. My visit today just reminds me why I go to Butlers Coffee a few exits down, or Coffee Bean at Parkway. I can hear a customer at the pickup area complaining about something and then proceeds to continue on with her conversation with another customer for the next few minutes. So instead of coming right up to the register, she takes her sweet time and proceeds to cut me off as I was patiently waiting in line. I'm up next but please lady, go right ahead. You're only a grown woman and obviously never learned or were taught manners the 70+ years you've been on this planet. So I'm up and of course she pony's right up to the register and proceeds to demand all her drinks for free and her whole order refunded to her Starbucks card. So the cashier finally does and the line gets moving. I tried to sympathize and apologize to the cashier for that lady's behavior, and the cashier doesn't even smile, laugh, say thank you, she just rolls her eyes at me and defends the lady's actions. So I move over to wait for my drink, and a different customer, a grown man, goes right to the pick up counter and demands his drink be re made and HIS Starbucks card be refunded as well!?!?! What is wrong with people!?!? News flash people......just cause you live on, near, close to, can see "Mt. Helix", doesn't give you the right to treat people that way. Have some manners, some class.
