My gym is near the Jamba Juice so it's easy to get a protein shake after a workout. I love how quick and easy it is to get a good and healthy meal/snack or a convenient location in El Cajon. Came in for a lil Jamba action today and it was basically empty. The place was fairly clean. The girl behind the counter was being pretty blunt. No hello or hello. She didn't respond to my how are you and basically blew me off. Like I get it you're having a bad day, but I came in being nice and friendly it doesn't hurt to return that kind of energy. After picking up my drink I said thanks have a good day, and she hit me with "yeah yeah straws and napkins at behind you." I don't think I'm asking for a lot but just being cordial is not very hard. Jamba Juice really never disappoints. This location was extremely clean and also extremely busy .. but they were pretty fast for having so many customers. I ordered the acai bowl, it was really good. i hate bananas so asked for that removed. The cashier if i asked if i wanted it removed as a topping and in the acai.. which was news to me, I thought it was just in the topping but now I know I need to ask for both. I always like coming to this Jamba Juice. The kids they hire (high school and college aged) are friendly and they get the job done quickly. There's also a nice patio outside with umbrellas where you can enjoy your order. This JJ is located in a strip mall across from Cuyamaca College. It has a Chipotle, a Great Clips, a Panda Express and a Union Bank and more close by. We ordered an orange and a mango smoothie and they were both made perfectly; it's fun to watch them make it! read more

Very disappointed in the service. Although they maybe smiling that doesn't make up for the time wasted. I called my order before a few people there. There was 6 people that got their orders before me. Then when I went to ask if there was an order ready, "I'm not sure let me check". My order was done and ready. I received it and it was already melting and very little fruit. Then the young lady said "thank you for speaking up". It's not my job to speak up. The cashier should communicate every order and who has arrived for their order. I believe there should be better service to go along with all those smiles. read more

I will have to say I am not the biggest smoothie fan but when my daughter asked for a Jamba Juice smoothie after her first day of kindergarten I was happy to oblige. It was super hot outside and it disappointed me so much to enter a hot, humid Jamba Juice. Was the a/c broken?? I wait in line for about 10 minutes to place my order! There was only one guy, who seemed new, taking orders and one person making drinks. As the guy hands me my receipt he says is it ok if it's a 30 minute wait? 30 minute wait for 1 drink?!?! I ask him if there is another option since he posed it as a question and he just looked at me blankly. I leave briefly to get some food from Panda Express a few doors down whose A/C works wonderfully by the way. I order, pay, and receive my food before coming back to wait another 15-20 minutes for this smoothie. At this point another girl comes out from the back to assist washing blenders or something. I watch them set up about 5 blenders with drinks that are just sitting there. Mind you the blenders with the already blended drinks are just sitting there as well not being poured into cups. Every spot or chair is occupied as people wait for their drink. They finally begin to pour the blended drinks in cups and people slowly receive the orders. Even the people that ordered after me!!!!! At this point I'm starting to get really frustrated. I go up to the counter to ask about my one small normal no special request drink. The excuse? It's the order we make drinks. No apology or anything but your drink next. Except it's not, it's two drinks later. By this point this service is unacceptable. I receive my drink and request for the manager. Lucky me it was the other girl helping out. Basically I got a straight faced sorry. I will not come back to this location and will continue to make sure to share my experience with others, especially those in this area. read more

Tonight I came into Jamba after working out and was immediately greeted by the staff. Michael, patiently answered all the questions I had about different smoothies. I'm terrible at deciding, but his direction seriously helped me. He was very familiar with all the products, so I knew I could trust his honest opinion. 15 questions later, he finally helped me pick the right one for me. Might I add, not once did I fee like a burden or rushed by him! That's HUGE. Plus, I could tell all the other customers were pleased by Michael's service. Also, as Nae was making my smoothie, I overheard her and Michael talking about it. She said that she liked adding strawberries to this particular one. So, I asked her if I could try some, and she "hooked" a sister up! However, to make sure I liked it, she first let me sample the original smoothie and then sample it with strawberry added to it. This was an extremely generous act, she did not have to do that. I absolutely loved her suggestion, and went home with a PB & Banana/Strawberry smoothie! The staff there is ON THEIR GAME. I've been a regular Jamba Juice customer throughout the years at many locations throughout California. This location is no different and what you can expect from Jamba. They have everything and the location is nicely air conditioned to help you survive the heat in El Cajon especially considering the regularly 90+ degree weather down there. The guy at the counter was helpful, friendly and made my white gummy bear smoothy well. Which one was already on the counter for me to just grab and go... But I was waiting for the other one to be served so I could leave.... I asked the Jamba employee.... May I have the rest of the juice in a small cup? No problem she said yes Well for the other one I requested the same thing and she said.... I'm really not supposed to.... If you would have said that the first time, I wouldn't had requested the second one.... Just communicate with YOUR clients..... I sure will not be going to this Jamba Juice location ever again...... Come here all the time due to going to school right next to this location. Me and my sister craved their bowls so we went. My sister got an acai bowl and I got the nutty almond bowl. We have gotten them before but this time her bowl was only halfway full. Mine was completely liquid right when I got it. If I'm paying 8 dollars per bowl I expect more product and actually a smoothie bowl. The employee that made this was going really slow and was not prepared. She had to leave the bowls for 10 minutes just to go get toppings. I will never come to this location ever. read more
