Very great staff and consistent style of barista skills. Always clean. Perfect layout and use of the space. Only crowded at obvious times, mornings before work and weekends before noon. I went in to use the wifi and grab a drink while my service was still waiting for installation at home. I was allowed to stay about 10 minutes passed closing to finish an important piece of work on my laptop. Always a great place to stop. I only gave them 4 stars because of the lack of drive thru. This would literally probably be the only Starbucks I frequented if they had one. read more

Update: the real store manager contacted me today and apologized. Rude employee named Lauren. The last 2 experiences at this location, a barista named Lauren, has been very rude. I will not be back. I told the manager at the location about the situation and she kept saying "do you ever just get knocked down by life and can't get back up? That's her. We're working on it." Um, what lol. What does that have to do with terrible customer service? How does that make it okay to be rude to your customers? The manager was actually present during the situation and ignored it. Silly excuse of a manager and bad customer service. I will not be returning to this location. read more

This place is a great place to chill. Employees are super friendly. Treat you more like family than customers; always have a smile and kind words. Unlike some Starbucks they work hard and are on top of drink orders. The place is always packed in the morning and goes strong all day. They are open until 11pm which is great! read more

This Starbucks is by the HEB. staff is friendly however it's always busy and I don't think the team can handle it. Not good at multi tasking. Orders don't get prepared together and oferten get mixed up or made wrong. With that said stick around long enough and you'll get a free something. read more

I am pretty sure I have hit every Starbucks in Austin and a million more outside of Austin, but this one has to be one of the best yet. I always order the same thing but it doesn't always taste the same. The girls here can make a mean White Chocolate Mocha and they're always consistent, even if it's a different person making it than the last time. I give this place 5 stars for quality and customer service. I would take a star away for no drive -thru....but I can get over that part. I love you Starbucks....but my wallet hates you! read more

This location is fun just because it's in a small town and everyone knows one another, so you get to see interactions between friends and neighbors and not just a bunch of strangers hanging out avoiding eye contact. The staff is friendly and funny- they interact with everyone, so be prepared to stand a minute or 2 longer in line while they make sure the person in front of you is doing great these days- it's really sweet, trust me. The only draw back is the lack of seating inside- but most of the Starbucks locations are doing this lately. read more

I absolutely love this Starbucks! My boyfriend and I are there often, and all the people there are so friendly. They're a great group of people that really make you feel at home. Really friendly!! And of course, the drinks are great :) They've actually never messed up an order, and they always mix the tea with the right amount of water and sweetener. I have found that at other Starubcks, they constantly mess up the tea...it will be way too sweet or have way too much water, but these guys in Kyle really got it down...they always make it right. read more

Closest Starbucks to my home. Have to divert a ways before work, but it's worth it. Ranges from empty to very busy based upon time of day. No drive through, which is perfect for me. Everything is great whenever I go and order at the store. But when I order Uber eats to my work something is always wrong, spilled, or cold. Uber eats is expensive on top of Starbucks already being expensive and it should be made and handled with care for the delivery to be successful. My drinks never have stickers to cover the opening on top, so they spill in the bag. They make the food orders as soon as they see it instead of realizing it's Uber eats and not to make it right away so it's not cold when received. I used to work at Starbucks and it's not hard to follow those simple steps. I order a almond honey blonde flat white almost every time I order and most of the time they see "flat white" and give me regular ristretto shots instead of blonde and it ruins the drink because I can taste the difference. Just make it right. It's been consistently wrong and my food or hot coffee has been consistently cold. read more

Been coming here since last fall, when I started at TX State. I spent hours here reading, researching and writing my lit review. It's a great place to stop in whether heading north or south on 35, as I would do when I lived in San Marcos and set off to visit family north of Waco. There's a good amount of seating, inside and out. It does get crowded, which makes it difficult if you're looking to come with a friend or two, but when I come by myself, I'm usually able to find a seat with an outlet for my laptop. The baristas are usually very friendly and efficient. I've been a regular for a while and seen the cast undergo a lot of changes and they always seem to hire attentive people who aren't overly chatty, which is fine with me. Always quick and helpful, though. As for the food and coffee....I mean, It's Starbucks. Everyone has their opinion on what Starbucks serves, it all tastes the same to me wherever I go. I can say that they usually have a large selection of food at all times, though if I am not mistaken they do not carry the espresso brownie which has so often sent me into a sugar and caffeine coma when ordered elsewhere. So, that might be a good thing. I love the location of this one, because it's in Kyle and not in the middle of a cluster of other stuff (like the outlets or a maze-like shopping complex or downtown with no parking and lots of traffic). A clean and comfortable, despite busy, environment gives this place 4 stars in my book. read more

Went to grab a coffee before 10 and the doors were locked. If the door says closes at 10 people expect to get a coffee until that time. Employee saw me pull on the door and walked in the back. I'd expect that from other places but not Starbucks. Hopefully you hire better people for this location. read more

I went with my friend out to breakfast, and tried to order the shoulder bacon sandwich (my new favorite food on the menu) but before I could even finish my sentence, the elderly woman behind the counter rudely interrupted me to inform me they were out of these. I then tried to order another similar option from the breakfast sandwich menu and she became even more irate and told me they didn't have that one either. Although Starbucks should plan to have enough sandwiches to last them all day since it is an all day breakfast/coffee joint, I wouldn't have even bothered to post a review if this woman had not been so rude to me. Her word choices and tone were quite off putting. After she informed me that they were out of both of the sandwiches a younger employee tried to remove them from the display case so no one else would order, but the first woman sharply told her no and got in the way of the case. Me and my friend were very unimpressed by the unprofessional manner this employee and won't be visiting this location again. read more

The workers don't even care and the customers can't even hear there order numbers! I grew up primarily in the Pacific northwest, so I grew up surrounded By the infamous Starbucks logo and also developed quite the addiction to Starbucks coffee and the yummy breakfasts they have. When I discovered the website, it made me like the company even more. There is so much goodness on Starbucks.com, its really crazy. I love that I can order things to be delivered to friends or family members across town or across the country, also love that I can order e gift cards that get emailed to the recepient. That's a big plus with me. One of my favorite things that I can do on the website is keep track of my stars and what rewards I've got. i have severe asthma and wasnt wearing my mask! the clerck was very rude stating "I wont serve you, if your not wearing a mask!". They were even impressively quick and thorough when I come in to order drinks for like 10 of my employees!
