Starbucks is one of those places that you really can't go wrong on. Though maybe not the foodiest, it's pretty solid if you need a reliable bite during the workday. After a meeting in the same building, I stopped by for a black Americano (aka pure caffeine) and double smoked bacon & egg sandwich. The croissant was nice and buttery, and well filled. Hands down the worst Starbucks I have ever gone to. It took 38 minutes for 2 normal coffees and a plain bagel. The person making the coffee continued to ignore everyone waiting and only focused on online orders. Then when I asked for an update on my iced coffee. She took hot coffee and dumped ice into it and handed it to me. 30 secs later it's was water down coffee. Got put back in a long line after I ordered my drink to be made with oat milk and they read it back to me correctly but made it wrong with milk. The drink maker Julia pointed to my drink and rudely told me that it was not on the ticked and that I needed to pay to go back in like and pay 86c for the milk before she would start to the re make it it. They are always out of everything not related to coffee. There are no sandwiches available early afternoon. Only a few juices left, but never the one you want. Forget about cookies or nuts. It happened so often that we now go off the island to go to other Starbucks. The worst was the last time we went. The cashier asked me after I just purchased 2 sandwiches, 2 juice bottles, 5 pack of cookies, and 3 bags of cheese balls, if I "needed a bag?" Desserts of all kinds, bagels, muffins, egg white bites, breakfast sandwiches, and regular sandwiches as well. They have indoor and outdoor seating and bathrooms for both genders. I love this Starbucks! It's walkable or a quick little ride here, plenty of parking & a quick in & out. (Just make sure you order ahead) It's Starbucks! They are busy at morning rush-hour. Truth is, you can wait a while if you catch the busy rush, but that's why the app is convenient, do yourself the favor. I have to give them 5 stars because they get the drinks right but more importantly the staff is so kind, they know my name & like me, many others. They always greet with warm a "good morning" or "hello" & that feels nice. Even when they are overwhelmed & busy & people are calling out orders, they keep calm & kind. Coming to Key Biscayne is always a delight (minus the toll) and having a certified delicious cafecito for the perfect morning pick me up. I like the quaint feeling that Key Biscayne offers. It's like the last rustic frontier in the 305, somewhat. I snagged a parking spot quite fast and pulled in for my grande triple iced macchiato. Wi him moments, my order was ready. Usually only people on the key visit this location so the ambience is much more warming than the rest of the fast paced city we live in. I always recommend asking for a cup of iced water along with your drink of choice to stay hydrated in our warm and tropical climate. The breakfast sandwiches are a hit although I find the wraps to be a bit desiccated. It might be hard to notice the comforting green mermaid logo from the road but since the speed limit is so low, it allows ample notice before pulling in. Everyone is super friendly so coming here is a breeze. read more

My experience at this Starbucks this morning was an example of how to NOT run a business. I preordered my drink 10 minutes before I showed up to pick it up. When I got there, there was only one other person waiting for their drink. The barista informed me she would start it now. Then she hands me a hit drink instead of the cold drink that I ordered. So she had to make it again. I separately ordered egg white bites at the register, which took another 10 minutes to receive. The woman who appeared to be the manager was rude to her employees by yelling orders at them instead of asking them politely to do errands. She was about just as friendly to customers. read more

I love this place. Definitely the place I go to when I need to study. There is free WiFi, and the baristas are very nice. There is inside and outdoor seating. The prices are good, and they always have many options of things to drink and eat. It's also clean and kept tidy. Would definitely recommend for good coffee. read more

Best Starbucks in Miami by far!!!! I enjoy how they have many varieties of coffee including the Gazebo Blend, Fall Pumpkin Spice Blend and Christmas (Holiday) Blend (they are not to be missed)! Prices are still average for just plain "coffee" by the cup! The employees are by far the kindest and most generous of the Greater Miami area. This place has a personality disorder. Sometimes you end up with good service, sometimes you end up with bad service. I've been before when I asked for soy creamer in my coffee and they've fought with me when I argued about the $.50 soy charge like they were plating it with gold. If you're not going to offer dairy free alternatives at the creamer bar, please don't charge me $.50 for a drop of soy creamer in my coffee. It's absurd and it's the concept of the issue I'm arguing with you about, not really the $.50. I finally just stopped ordering coffee and started ordering iced tea. Much better experience. Either way, it is what it is - a Starbucks. Don't expect spectacular service and you'll do fine here. read more

My first trip to Miami as a LA native. I leave MIA in my Mustang convertible headed to Key Biscayne early in the morning. Now I'm use to the staff at my LA Starbucks locations having little to great personality. My first impressions at the Key Biscayne location was little to none. My name was not called to alert me that my drink was ready. Instead, the employee just pointed directly at my cup with no communication what so ever.. That was my worst Starbucks experience ever, as far as customer service goes. I should say that the coffee was very tasty here over some of the coffee made near me in Los Angeles. Key Biscayne was beautiful and having just one Starbucks location is unheard of. You would think that this one location would have even greater service than the other locations that are in close proximity to each other?... This location should improve in its customer service in order to really stand out from the others! read more

Here's a tip.......... if there's more people behind the counter than there is in line, don't you think you should have some sort of sense to help the customers waiting? It's hard to judge a cafe from just one visit, but from what I saw this branch of the Bucks tree needs a little pruning. It's pretty hit or miss here. Sometimes you get good service sometimes you don't. Today I waited 20+ minutes in line while the young girl (her name tag said yukky or something to that effect) had conversations with the group of guys in front of me. When it came time to pay the girl swiped my card about 5 times then said it wasn't working. After she asked me if I wanted her to swipe it again I told her "no". I think this is the only coffee house in the key. As it is a Starbucks it looks the same as any other, the difference is the staff, they are very nice and if you are a regular they greet you by name. It can get a little crowded at the 9:30 am hour. read more

Its Starbucks in Key Biscayne, I think that is the best feature of all. Located in the cozy little shopping plazas on the key, it lends to the island lifestyle. That is what studying at a coffee shop and actually achievable productivity feels like - hooray. Posh, absolutely posh and so are the prices.
