Coffee, Biscoff Waffle (top), Strawberries and Cream Waffle (bottom), matcha
Leah Y.

While I definitely think this coffee shop is a bit more chain-coffee-shop rather than local-coffee-shop vibes, I think they have some decent drinks and waffles here. I also found that this was a bit on the pricey side all things considered. While the matcha and waffles were yummy, I don't feel there was a huge emphasis on specific ingredients quality or preparation to back up the higher price tag. Nothing super unreasonable, but definitely harder to budget out. I ordered the seasonal cherry blossom matcha and found the flavors to be well balanced and not too sweet. I also found that the matcha seemed to be a pretty good quality, with no grassy flavor or clumps in my drink. You do have to stir your syrup in as they serve it to you with it sitting at the bottom, but I didn't mind it too much. We also ordered the strawberries and cream, as well as the biscoff waffle. The waffles were a little bit on the flatter side (not as stuffed with fillings as I expected), but the fillings tasted amazing and the waffle itself was fluffy and buttery. Overall I am glad I came here to try this place. While I don't see me making this a regular spot, I think I would come back for their unique drinks as the syrups were on point and the matcha quality was great as well.

It gets the job done for a coffee shop work session. Tbh feels a little corporate but otherwise perfectly pleasant. Order at kiosk. Plenty of seating. I can't speak to the coffee but my sandwich was fine, a bit processed feeling but filling and reasonably priced. Free wifi but they make you answer a million questions before you can connect, which I found cumbersome. On the whole, wouldn't be my first choice but it's also def not the worst. Comfortable environment, just a bit lacking in soul.

Regular Cold Brew Latte with Soy Milk and Hazelnut Syrup and Nutella and Banana waffle

I liked this coffee shop, but it is not a spot I would come often to. Everything felt so expense for alright food and coffee. I got the cold brew latte with soy milk and hazelnut syrup and a banana & Nutella waffle, and everything with taxes and a small tip came out to $23. The waffle was delicious, and the coffee was good. But, it was good enough for me to come often. I did really love the place! It's conveniently located. I was able to take the metro since it's located right there at the Coconut Grove spot. It is located next to various stores and near the Underline where you can go for a walk with your coffee. It had indoor and outdoor seating. The seats were comfortable and plenty. And, I liked the vibe they had with their furniture, murals, and decorations. I didn't really engage with staff since they have machines to place your order. I would probably come back, but it won't be often.

I was super excited to try out this UK based coffee company, coming to the US is a big deal! Plus all the advertisements definitely grew the hype for this place. As to be expected the range for an iced coffee is 6 to 8 dollars. I downloaded the app to get rewards & saw if you sign up with a student email address you automatically get 20% off, which is nice. I ordered the vanilla oat milk cold brew latte. From what I saw, everybody was ordering on the kiosks exclusively and not going up to the register. Atmosphere was nice, lots of seating with plenty of outlets for charging up. When they called my name, it was not to have my drink, but to inform me that there is no cold brew left. This was after 12 PM, so wasn't as shocking as running out of cold brew at 8 AM but still disappointing. I also was wondering why they didn't show cold brew was out of stock on their kiosks. Regular cold brew drinkers know that there is nothing else that compares to cold brew & the strength it offers. The employee then offered me a latte with their high strength espresso instead. I agreed, but asked to add cold foam, assuming they would easily and gladly do it for the inconvenience. Well, I was wrong. She mentioned that if I wanted cold foam, I would've had to pay for that when I initially ordered my drink. I then asked what the price for the latte with cold foam was because I saw only a five cent difference between what I ordered and an my ask. After what seemed was an unnecessarily long conversation of me adding cold foam, one of the parts being me offering to just cancel the whole order, she said it was placed. I did ask to switch from oat milk to skim milk, but I definitely still got oat milk. However, after all of that, I was not asking to change my dairy preference again. Overall, I don't know if this sour interaction will stop me from coming back again, but it definitely does not incentivize me to come back to this shop when there are so many other coffee spots I want to try in Miami. One last note is that the employees seem to be either not properly trained or not caring as they were quite unprofessional while making the drinks.

If you go to Black Sheep Coffee, you HAVE to order the white chocolate matcha and the Nutella waffle, or honestly, any of their waffles with the variety of flavors they offer. The Banoffee is absolutely TO DIE FOR. I went this morning and LOVED everything about it. What really stood out, though, was THE SERVICE. Libny, Bianda, and Jose went above and beyond to make us feel truly welcome and right at home. Amazing experience all around!

The matcha here does not disappoint, in fact it's my new favorite: The blueberry matcha latte is out of this world like a blueberry muffin a cup! The gingerbread matcha is comfort food in drink form bringing to mind favorite childhood flavors of gingerbread cookies. The passion fruit matcha lemonade and lychee matcha lemonade were also solid. The gingerbread coffee was tasty though not as hot as should have been. Can't wait to try more!!

Matcha lychee lemonade

Coconut grove's newest coffee shop- a UK chain DRINKS Matcha lychee lemonade with an extra shot of matcha- it wasn't overly sweet and the lychee flavor definitely came through. The matcha quality is average but works well in the drinks. I do recommend getting an additional shot if you really want the matcha flavors to come through. Iced honey cardamon latte- a bit too sweet in my opinion and I wish we could select a half sweet option on the kiosk. Not sure if you can if you order in person. However if you're used to coladas or cortados with normal sugar, this is less sweet than those haha AMBIANCE This is such a good spot to do work. There's plenty of outlets and seating for individuals or groups. PARKING Grove has convenient parking

Iris jeilany and libney were great with there customer service as well as the drink (it was delicious)

Black Sheep Coffee, the name might make you think of the family outcast, the one no one really talks about. But here? It's the complete opposite. Black Sheep stands out from the herd by doing something bold: introducing the world's first specialty-grade Robusta beans to the market. They're true innovators in the coffee game, and now you don't need a passport to enjoy it, you can find them right here in Coconut Grove, Miami. In a country where Starbucks usually rules the scene, Black Sheep flips the script. They're serving up quality coffee with a creative twist, and it makes the whole experience way more fun. I visited for the first time on a hot Miami summer day, so I went straight for an iced pistachio latte. Based on a custom Decaf Robusta blend with rich notes of chocolate, caramel, and a hint of tobacco, all swirled into oat milk, pistachio syrup, a cloud of whipped cream, and topped with pistachio crumbles. My new coffee obsession. Shout-out to Bryton, the thoughtful barista who made it feel like it was designed just for me. I didn't stop there. Alexa and Angelina completed the order with a classic cappuccino and a Norwegian Banofi waffle. Layered with creamy Banofi spread, fresh banana slices, and a caramel-cinnamon vibe that I'm still dreaming about. Next time, I've already got my eye on the matcha waffle. Speaking of matcha, their menu doesn't stop at the basics lineups, think of passion fruit, lychee, turmeric. My checklist is growing fast. All the engagement with this new concept evolved to the next level, thanks to Yanina, who shared the story behind Black Sheep's name and Robusta's bold character. I love when a brand's identity ties so perfectly to its product. Here, you feel it in each cup: earthy, woody, sips of coffee shots. Yanina is like the lead shepherdess of this flock, she radiates the brand's caffeine energy as if it were her own, and it's contagious. Black Sheep Coffee isn't just another café, it's a herd statement! I totally sheep it!

Very cute vibe in here. they have kiosks where you can order if you want. there are cute booths and counters to post up, have a coffee, and do work if you want to. I ordered an iced latte with a little vanilla. The latte was good but not super memorable. The baristas were not super friendly. But they were okay. Maybe because they just opened and are still getting the hang of it. Not in a rush to go back but it was okay, willing to try again.

Located in Grove Central Shopping Centre right next to the Coconut Grove Metro Station on US1 and 27th Ave is Black Sheep Coffee. The unseasonably cold weather in Miami made me decide to stop in and grab a coffee. The inside was very open space and plenty of seating. They had both an order counter and kiosk for ordering. Being my first time I inquired about their top sellers and they recommended either the Spanish Latte which was made with condensed milk or the Honey Cardamom Oat Latte. I went with the Honey Cardemom and was happy with my choice. I'm no coffee conussier by any means but I appreciated that it wasn't overly sweet and it also had I nice froth. I only wish it would have been a bit hotter. I saw they had waffles and acai bowls. Maybe for next time. Overall it was a nice place and although it was rather large it wasn't packed so could be a great place to bring a laptop and get some remote work done. If in the area, I'd say give Black Sheep Coffee a try.

Cute place with a good amount of seating. Service was fast on a Monday day. Small food selection. Came here for the matcha- got the blueberry which was delicious. Love that they have a good variety. Will definitely be back.

Wasn't too familiar with this building, so parking was confusing. You have to park in the garage and then go downstairs but if you don't know, you get two hour free parking what's getting the code which I didn't see therefore I paid about five dollars to Park. Black sheep has computers when you walk in to take orders. It was around 10 AM. I ordered a brown sugar iced latte and a bagel, egg and cheese. They sadly did not have any just egg and cheese bagels and offered to change it to something else so I got the turkey bacon egg and cheese. I noticed that the bagel was frozen and wrapped so I am unsure where they get it locally, but it is just warmed up. I was pretty disappointed that the bagel was not fresh. The bagel also had barely any egg on it, for this price it was not worth it. The coffee was pretty good and strong which I did like. There is plenty of seating inside. Art work on the walls inside were nice, I loved the wall with the Polaroids of dogs on the wall. Cute spot but inconvenient for me to grab coffee.

Not only were Abner (the GOAT) and Faith the absolute coolest people on the planet, but the Spanish coffee and strawberry matcha were unreal too.

As you're walking down the strip area you can pop in for a quick caffeine break or tea or Matcha. We tried one of their suggested coffees and it was super delicious. I shared mine with my friend. They delivered it quickly and kindly we walked around the Grove area with drink in hand.m Inside they have a couple of chairs and small table areas that you could do some quick laptop working but it's overall more of a grab and go. There were many people doing their work in there, there are a few tables outside in about six or seven inside, all two tops inside. The seating does not look very comfortable, it doesn't seem like they want you to stay for hours on end. The girls behind the bar were so nice, she took her time to answer my questions about the specialty items and explained that the Yuzu Matcha was not your traditional Matcha, but actually had a Yuzu tea soda base - good to know because I really wanted that milk tea Matcha and this was not that so I ended up not ordering it and pivoting to the Baku coffee instead, which was a yummy toasty coconut inspired coffee with coconut flakes on top. This was super good and not overly sweet and perfect for the occasion. We also tried a chocolate croissant, which would have been better heated up, but was still yummy. The prices were really not great though three tiny coffees were $35. I was pretty shocked.
