Aleoli Me Time Studio - Strawberry matcha

Aleoli Me Time Studio

This place is huge! It's a cafe in the front and yoga (I think) studio in the back behind closed…read moredoors. The cafe is huge and spacious with lots of seating. This is a great place to come study or do work on your computer. Some tables have outlets too. The service was good. No complaints. I came here because I heard their matcha is good. Each matcha is $8.5. They claim to use ceremonial grade matcha but under the matcha latte list, there is only one drink labeled CG (ceremonial grade) while others do not. The CG is the basic and they use agave for sweetening. They also don't hand mix per cup. It is pre-batched. I'm not a pre-batch hater although I do prefer each cup to be hand mixed, so I will give it a chance if it tastes good. The CG latte was surprisingly smooth and pretty good! Not bitter at all imo, but it was slightly grainy. They used the perfect amount of agave to balance. It wasn't sweet either. Just perfect balanced flavor for a regular CG matcha latte. The other matcha latte I ordered was the banana. It is SO GOOD! A lot grainier than the CG, though. But I would definitely order that again if I come to Katy. It has a cinnamon flavor in it (probably why it felt grainier than CG) and mixed with the banana flavor was just very yummy. Highly recommend!

Cute shop that's also a yoga shop. Staff is friendly…read more Drinks are good. A bit inconsistent. But good overall. I love the aesthetic and pastries ain't bad either. If I'm in the area, it's definitely a spot to stop by.

What a cute coffee shop! We found ourselves here one morning as we had an appointment close by on…read moreS. Mason. Traffic wasn't too bad along Mason and the location was easy to find using GPS. The coffee shop is part of a shopping strip that includes other popular businesses like Aji Ramen and Hoodadak. The ambiance and decor are quite lovely! The cafe is much larger inside than I expected, and it was super clean with good, reliable WiFi. We just stopped by for a few minutes and were recommended the honey nut latte as one of their more popular drinks. We got it hot. It was perfect! Not too hot, definitely not cold, great flavor, strong coffee flavor, and not too sweet. There's also a wall of fancy teas that's definitely worth checking out. (See my photo.) Service was also good! Nice, kind employee and the drink came out quickly. Luckily there wasn't a line when I arrived and only 2 other people in the cafe chatting at the time. If you find yourself on S Mason in Katy and wanting coffee or tea, check out this place!

I am looking forward to ordering again and will check out their location in-person next time. I felt inspired to leave a review due to a patron on yelp who gave them a 2 star rating for not giving him a free drink because that man was upset that he ordered the wrong drink. Embarassing. Whether it's for a coffee fix, a WiFi session, a work meeting, a quick bite, or a reason to kill…read moretime, there is never a bad reason to check out Homebrew. The easy parkin, casual and quaint vibes make it really easy to spend lots of time here. Coffee is still a work in progress for yours truly, but I've found solace in their nitro cold brew, which is an effective pick-me-up for the morning + afternoon boost. An added dash of sweetness and milk is the golden pecan, which is another favorite. Another bonus? Latte art is most definitely on point. Their seasonal and constantly rotating menu is a brunch worthy, but not particularly destination worthy. From croissant sandwiches to avocado toast, they've done aa decent job at keeping everything presentable and quality. The daily pastry selection is also a variable and being out of danishes and muffins by mid afternoon is a real possibility. The customer service deserves special kudos since they've always done a great job in making every experience feel like a welcome one. They close every day at 5pm.

OMG!!! I can't believe I've never been here before!…read more We had the breakfast croissant, and it was absolutely delicious!!! That sauce they put on there deserves a chef's kiss! Mwwwaaah!!! We also had an orange cranberry muffin that was so warm, moist, and scrumptious that it was the perfect exclamation point on a wonderful breakfast! I have to say the owner and baristas were truly warm and friendly to us, and very accommodating. You could tell there were lots of regulars by the conversations they had with the owner, and the inside was packed! I just have to remember to arrive early next time, so we can try some of their delectable pastries! They were all gone by the time we arrived!
