My usual order is the Golden Retriever, which is their Classic Pearl Milk Tea loaded with coffee jelly, pudding, and lychee--great if you like extra toppings. For the most part, service and drink quality are consistent, but there are times when they're understaffed, leading to longer waits or drinks tasting a bit different than usual. One area that could use improvement is the rewards system. Other tea shops nearby have their own mobile apps with better incentives, while the Cash App rewards here aren't always consistent. I'd also love to see the red bean topping come back--it was easily their best topping.

Stay away matcha lovers and students/wfh folks!!…read more We ordered a matcha latte and an iced lavender latte. Lavender latte was solid but a bit on the sweeter side. Matcha latte was awful. I'm not a matcha snob by any means but this matcha was so poor quality that we ended up throwing it away before finishing. I came here hoping to stay awhile to get some work done and didn't notice til after I ordered drinks that the WiFi was extremely spotty. The guest wifi didn't pop up for a while and when it was available, it disconnected me a couple of times. I got tired of the slow and spotty internet connection so I ended up going home. After reading old reviews, it seems like their WiFi has never been reliable even 10+ years ago. I did notice some folks with laptops sitting by the window so maybe there's better connection there? Service was just okay. Overall the matcha and WiFi issue is enough to make me not want to go back. I feel like the space really has some potential to be a cozy spot, however, they could definitely use some work.

We stopped off at this Happy Lemon shop in Sugarland, which wasn't far from Missouri City at that point. We had lunch nearby and once we were done, I suggested that we get some Happy Lemon. The experience here was short and yet satisfying at the same time. We entered the store after 1:15pm on a Monday December 2025 afternoon. There was nobody in the store when we walked in, so I guess we beat the lunch rush or something. The store itself was rather small, just enough space for the business to function and a few tables and chairs for customers to enjoy their purchases. We spent about 15 minutes here before deciding on what to order. I ended up getting a strawberry shortcake smoothie. It was decidedly delicious and definitely hit the spot when it was needed the most. It was cool that the location was basically in happenstance. I've never heard of this brand before, so it was nice to check them out here in Texas. Specialty teas and bubble drinks are on the rise in America and definitely an alternative to soda and sugary drinks. The overall experience here at Happy Lemon here in Sugarland, Texas was good, special, and a definitely a sweet treat for me on a Monday in Texas. I don't remember what my friend and her husband got. It may have been bubble tea drinks. The store itself was clean and very cozy looking. The prices here are good and around the price you'd find at comparable places and around the same price point as Starbucks as well. But Starbucks doesn't do bubble teas, I don't think. Still, Happy Lemon is a place where you can find healthier alternatives to what's out there these days. The service was friendly and fast while being professional and patient with us trying to decide on what we wanted that day. For the most part though, it was a good thing that we passed by here en route to Missouri City. While the largest size wasn't that large, it was substantial and definitely worth trying. The strawberry smoothie I purchased was delicious and very much on point. If you find yourself in Sugarland and want something delicious to your day, consider coming to Happy Lemon. This Happy Lemon store is located in the heart of Sugarland, Texas. It's physically located at16200 Kensington Drive in Sugarland. They accept major credit cards as well as cash. As far as parking goes, there's limited parking here for anyone and everyone to come here to pick up your favorite bubble teas and assorted smoothies. I'm not sure if Sugarland has its own regional public transportation system or not apart from metro Houston, so best bet would be to have your own ride, rent one, or find a local friend. There's always Uber and Lyft, if your specific situation warrants that. And so, the experience felt similar to going to a Jamba Juice, but not quite. Quite similar but just different. While Jamba Juice may be more expensive, Happy Lemon is refreshing and healthy too. 4.0 stars for the overall experience. Support local! B

I just found another beautiful and spacious coffee spot for studying or late night dessert date!…read moreThey specialize in unique Yemeni options like Harazi Mufawar, and a variety of tasty pastrie such as Dubai cheese bread, Turkish baklava (a rich, buttery pastry made of paper-thin layers of phyllo dough filled with finely crushed nuts and pistachio), and mom's kunafa. The staff was very patient with me since it was my first time and didn't know what the desserts taste like. I got the lavender matcha half sweet and the honeycomb cheese bread. Maybe because I ordered less sweet so I don't taste the lavender at all, but my matcha did have a slightly strong fragrant smell in the beginning. But overall the drink got more bland as the ice melted. The bread was good though, they give honey on the side so you can adjust the sweetness yourself. The bread is pillowy and easily pulled apart, a good balanced sweet savory pastry because the cheese is light and not overpowering. I would love to come back again next time to try the other popular desserts and their coffees.

It was nicely balanced all the way through--not one of those drinks where you get to the bottom for all the pistachio. The spinach roll had a lot of spices, including a bit of a kick. The people behind the counter were friendly and kind--I would go back for sure.

Didn't blow me out of my seat, but well worth a trip back to try more things. Drinks - 4.5 stars. The tiramisu latte might be the best drink I have ever had. Strawberry matcha was a solid 4....which is Saying a LOT because I think most matcha drinks taste like grass and my daughter drank this whole thing and she usually only finishes half a drink. Friendliness. 4 stars. Nice, helpful. I wasn't clear if we clear our trays when finished and if so where they go??? But no one was at the front when I went up to ask.
