Good thing she asked me if they used the light frappuccino mix (I still don't know what they use) but I did realize she blended my soy drink in the dairy blender and as a result I ended up with a sloppy drink. She is obviously new and we all learn, but the Store Manager sure isn't new. The Store Manager should have ensured to have enough people on staff to guide her a bit on her first days. Consistently slow, Baristas have no sense of urgency. Always seems like someone new is working. I always regret when I come in but it's a good location. I'm in line now watching the slowest man ever work the register. I'd leave now but I've already invested 10 minutes in line. Less taking more working would be best. Rude staff alert. Internet stopped working in the middle of my study on my laptop. I checked my other device, it showed the same message that the internet was down but I was still able to connect to their wifi. So I politely asked the staff if they could check their internet and she said there wasn't anything she could do because other people were using the internet. I told her the internet was down for everyone, she did not believe me. So I went asking another guy in front of the staff and the other customer confirmed that the internet was down. And then the staff turned to another staff and said could you check the router? Ya right. Nothing they could do about it until it's not only my experience was affected. So rude. Not helpful. Not nice. They did not fix the internet before I left and I received no apology. read more

I went there twice both through mobile orders. First time got my order smoothly. Second time which was just now, I ordered a English Breakfast tea latte at 8:10pm. The store was not busy, nobody was waiting in line. After 5 mins, I went to check, my latte was not there yet. So I went back to the couch and waited for another 5 mins. During the entire 10 mins, there was no new customer coming in to order any drink. The girl was cleaning up the station, I figured my order might have got lost, so I went up and stood at the order pick up desk trying to tell her I am waiting for my order. The girl seems to be ignoring me. No eye contact when I attempted to have an eye contact with her. She *knew* I was a few feet away, and she tried really hard not to look in my direction, to the point where I think this behavior is juvenile childish. Yes the girls there look like teenagers. Eventually I had to go back to the order line and waited in line. By then there were about 4-5 customers there ordering their drinks. When it was my turn, the other girl seems to be not aware of this mobile order and said she "will check". I waited at the pick up place again. After all the other customers who ordered after me got their drinks, my latte was finally ready. I took the latte from her, and got no apologies. She actually told a lady before me that "thanks for the patience" when that lady ordered after me and got her drink before me. What the hell is that??? In the past when barista accidentally forgot my order, which only happened once in the last 10 years, they would give me a coupon for a free drink as an apology. The whole point of mobile order is that you can order ahead and when come in it is ready. I think what just happened completely defeats the purpose. And the hidden attitude of dis-service should be something of a concern for their management team. read more

I do not frequent Starbucks because I often find them to be tiny and overcrowded. When I go to a coffee shop I want a leisurely, restful place for a good book or conversation. This store is perfect. I very much liked the decor and variety of seating. Service was right on and they even reserve a table for the meet up group I was with. How cool is that! The Starbucks in Issaquah is open late and serves beer and wine and small plates. Some of the small plates like flatbreads, truffle popcorn, grilled vegetables, truffle mac & cheese, are pretty tasty. They also have Starbucks evenings featuring live music. This is a really popular Starbucks so the lines can be really long. A lot of regulars come to this Starbucks and then often club meetings and Meetups held here. Since this is a test store you may find drinks being sold here that will not be in any other Starbucks - an example coffee sangria or Valencia orange coffee. Delicious! I took away one star for this location as all the seating is pretty uncomfortable and the wireless at this location sucks. There are over 11 Starbucks in Issaquah - standalone or in stores and here's how to choose where to go. For the best drinks and food come to this Starbucks in the Meadows. For a great sunset view and a drive-through go to the Starbucks in Issaquah Highlands. For a quieter place go to the Starbucks adjoining Safeway on Gilman or to the standalone Starbucks plus drive thru next to Fred Meyer and Home Depot. To hobnob with the privileged Lakemont teens (and parents) go to the Starbucks near Lakemont. The baristas are the most friendly of every Starbucks I've been to (shout out to Jessica and James and Eden for always being down to chat!) the space is open late and has enough room for everyone to work or have their own conversations without being in everyone's business. I guess I have to follow up now and point out that apparently no Starbucks I visit seems capable of a proper coarse grind any more, and it's time to go buy myself a new grinder. A couple pluses I can think of for this location and didn't mention before: big, comfy spaces for groups to meet and chat, friendly service, convenient bathrooms. Other cons: lame parking, but that's not their fault - this parking lot has been a congestion trap for years. Today after a few medical issues, we wanted to treat ourselves from a Starbucks! (How Seattle, right?!!) Anyways, we made our way over to this location because they were so helpful in our last recent purchase of their espresso machine / milk frother! As we entered, we saw the signage out front and got so excited. There was NO line but the lobby here was completely full, wall to wall! We got into line and the retail was stunning! Stocked, beautifully touched up, this store is impressive! When we got to the line a very friendly partner greeted us and we inquired about the new cooking pastry option and were so excited to see the new addition of the black oven against the wall! How amazing is this! This must cut back on food waste, and really bring the coffee house experience full circle! I am IN love with the buttery, flakey goodness! I even had one of the cookies and the perfect ring crunch but the soft and perfectly centered part was to die for!!!! I think I'm done with Starbucks. First time in my life I've ever had someone embarrass me in front of my family. We were headed back on the road for about a 2 1/2 hr road trip. Stopped at Starbucks to get some food and coffee for the road. They served us our coffee and then we waited for about 15+ minutes for the food. While waiting I pulled up my mask and took a sip of my coffee. One of the guys working their freaked out on me and said "You can't drink your coffee in here". His tone and inflection was totally uncalled for. Also if you don't want people to lift up their mask to drink their hot coffee you probably shouldn't serve it until their food is ready. By the time we received our food and went out to our vehicle our coffee was warm and not hot anymore. I've always gone to Starbucks for the great coffee and the exceptional customer service but this guy ruined it for both of us. read more

I really hate to not give a Starbucks a 5 star review as most are pretty good and I never have issues but since I work for the company I had to address a few things. One being how slow the barista made drinks, if you have more then two you have to have a sense of urgency in making drinks so people aren't waiting too long. Even worse I waited almost 3 minutes for two iced teas to be made and the barista didn't even read the cup right to make it hoe it was ordered. This Starbucks does things differently, which is fine for any other chain or franchise but not for Starbucks- which prides itself on the same great service no matter the location. Well here in Issaquah the mobile order takes forever, and even if your food is done you can't get it until your entire order is up. Why would I want my egg bites sitting and getting cold? I meet clients here a lot, and in the wake of what's happening nationally with Starbucks, it was against my better judgement to go to their store today. After my appointment, I got a drink for the road and they messed it up. The barista (Hannah or Anna) was slow as molasses to begin with, but when I turned down her lackluster offer to remake the drink, and just asked that she add a shot to make it less sweet she decided to make two to three more drinks SLOWLY before fixing mine. I stood there in disbelief. Finally I said, "can you add the shot? I have to go!" She did so, glared at me, and didn't say a word. Get it together, Starbucks. Train your employees with courtesy and grace, please. We spend a lot of money there and deserve as much! read more

Well it started off good with Kat cooper helping me to order a pastry and being genuinely helpful and engaging, but it went sideways after that. The register gal then cut some people in front of me in line even though I was in mid order when she did that and had finished ordering already while the other family was still debating what they wanted. Kat recognized this so apologized and took care of my coffee for me and asked the barista to make my drink next since they skipped me. While I waited for my drink however- the Batista decided to not only not make mine as next in line, but made the drinks of the 2 other people behind me first. When I asked her about it she told me I was next. So for those who are not counting, I had to wait for 3 orders (4 drinks) to be made before mine was. Even the older gentlemen behind me offered me his drink because they too all noticed. I'll be honest, I am 8 months pregnant so as I sat and watched 3 other orders get made while mine sat on the sidelines it took some effort to not get upset and cry. But, because of Kat Cooper's kind service and the other customers also noticing the slight, I was able to talk myself into remaining calm. Thank you Kat Cooper for being great and doing a good job, a lot of work needed with the other ladies behind the counter. I hope your boss sees this and gives you the kudos you deserve. Worst. Got diet, skinny, drink and husband got no Carmel in in Carmel macchiato. Then went to fred Meyer Starbucks to get it fixed and were told we must use same store to fix drinks. THis isnt the first time this Starbucks screwed up coffee. Prices have gone up and we must ask for a sleeve now then add bad service. When did the customer service change to crap?
