This is my absolute favorite Starbucks location! The employees are so friendly and joyful every morning that I stop by. Everyone greets you good morning and have a great day. My drinks and food always come perfect too! Their staff makes sure you are taken care off when you're waiting. If I could give this location 0 stars I would. I ordered: A tall caramel Frappuccino with whip cream but please put it in a grande cup with a flat lid. Instead they gave me a tall caramel Frappuccino with whip on the side. I explained to them the reason why I wanted a tall in a grande cup is because it's going to be a flat lid. I have always ordered this drink the same way for years and never had an issue. So because they gave me a tall amount of coffee but a grande amount of milk before the blend it, it tasted extremely watered down and horrible. Amazing service. Greeted the minute we walked in. Took a little longer to get our drinks than normal due to A new employee (Grace or Gracie) being trained. Under pressure to get the drinks out quickly she did an amazing job and even apologized for taking so long. The wait didn't bother me as I know what it's like being a new employee just learning the job. We were doing a little public out training for our service dog here. Went in to ask for a small cup to put water in and the gentleman (didn't get his name) went above and beyond and got me a bowl like cup and said don't be afraid to come get more water if needed . Came here during their happy hour and luckily ordered before a rush. I ordered the Mocha Cookie Crumble Frap. Drinks took awhile to make because there was only a few workers. All the tables were taken, and there weren't any seats available besides the bar chairs so I had to stand on the side waiting for my drink. They told me they ran out of the cookie crumble and would it be fine with me if they add the chocolate curls instead which I was fine with. FYI there isn't a drive thru at this location. This is the first time I walked in an absolutely been wowed at a location. Upon arriving I was greeted in the most cheerful way. There was two or three people behind making drinks and I was watching them as I was waiting. In the mist of making all the drinks are also greeting by name customers walking in. I've dropped in at this location a few times & never had any real problems with my order. For the most part service has been ok. One young lady is very sweet & always greets incoming customers. Gonna have to get her name next time I visit. I will say the location is a little awkward unless you're planning to keep going down Durham. Not the best place to stop during rush hour if you need to go back the opposite direction. Keep in mind this is in a smaller retail strip just off the feeder road. And who can possibly have a bad day when Gilbert (the barista making your drinks in the AM) calls out your drinks in the wackiest ways possible? One of the worst Starbucks I've been to. I don't ever review but this was so bad. First thing I noticed was that the entire place smelled like a litter box. Like cat litter and urine. Next there was hardly any food options, but I feel like Starbucks has a shortage of everything right now. And last - my drinks taste awful. I get the same thing at many other Starbucks and this one taste nothing close to what I order. It's supposed to be a pumpkin spice cold brew and it taste like water down coffee. I only gave 3 stars because the people are extremely friendly but the pace of service, not so much. They spend so much time talking and attempting to entertain & not enough time working. I understand breakfast rushes, but why am I waiting 20 minutes for a regular coffee with a shot of espresso? I should have been taken care of as soon as I made the purchase. It's honestly ridiculous. Don't ever come before work when you're on a time crunch because I can guarantee you won't be out in time. Poor customer service, I was here to pick up an Uber eats order I stood there for a solid 10 minutes nobody greeted me when I enter the store or anything. Two people came in after me and were helped before me. The barista told me they don't call out Uber orders, I told her well when I came in nobody greeted me or anything said anything to me. I'm not gonna just walk up to the bar when they have people standing there given the whole social distancing thing going on. All she could say was "okay" over and over again after that like she didn't even know how to apologize to a customer or handle a situation like that.
