I called the store number listed no answer left a message to call me back so that I can be issued a refund. I'll be waiting when the Starbucks manager call me back if ever. Dumpster fire still burning. They say their not serving cold drinks; however, I seen a gentlemen with a brand new strawberry Açaí within the terminal. They simply want to shit down cafe early and avoid any detailed customer service. I asked and gentlemen at this facility about that and he stated, "It must be a conspiracy." Why does Starbucks management/corporate not see a reason to fix the ongoing problem with this location? I am at this airport weekly. I don't usually go to this Starbucks because all Hobby frequent fliers know it's more than likely going to take forever. As someone who has patronized Starbucks in my hometown as well as all over the country for years, my experience is almost always good..sometimes great..certainly consistent. The hobby airport location near gate 45 is CONSISTENTLY HORRENDOUS. It's almost laughable. As I said, I don't stop in often, but I pass by it all the time. There always seems to be plenty of employees. I had a lot of time today and I was craving a holiday drink, so I went in. There are 8-9 visible employees including an on duty sup/mgr. There is NO reason that there should be extra long pauses where no orders (food nor beverages) are being taken. The line just grows as 2 people slowly make drinks and 4-5 other people are talking, laughing, and doing something other than engaging with the customers who've joined the line and are just watching and waiting witnessing the same thing that I've described. No one said to them "sorry for the wait/we'll be with you as soon possible" SOMETHING. I was second in line when I initially walked in. The one gentleman who actually was professional and doing something to move the line forward said he'd be with me in a sec. He prepped food from the order in front of me but it took him a while. I started to watch the time. It was 6 minutes before he took my order. That's a long time when again, there are 8 or more visible employees (including a lead) who are chatting, laughing and appear to be doing a bunch of nothing (slowly at that). The way they operate is inefficient, too slow, careless, and the opposite of what is needed in a fast paced busy environment that's run on a strict schedule like the airport. Why doesn't upper management or corporate care? There's no way they are unaware. Unacceptable. read more

Ordered via mobile app. It's useless. They queue only mobile app orders, they were at least 30 minutes behind. I ordered 30 min ahead so I could have 15 min lead time to board my flight. Most of the time airport locations are a hit or miss but this is one of the good ones! We had some time before our flight so my gf wanted a drink and I needed a water for my meds. My girlfriend ordered a green tea lemonade and I was going to buy a bottle of water but they told me they could give me a big cup of ice water which was great because it saved me money since water is over priced in airports and I just had surgery which was pricey of course! The staff was super friendly and they got all the drinks out super quick! We will definitely be returning the next time we fly into this airport! read more

This has to be one of the worst customer service locations I have ever been too! I waited 10 minutes for a coffee. There where 3 people behind the counter. When another customer asked if she could help the one person making coffee her response was "im getting us ready for the morning rush" I seriously looked at her and stated "yes because the current customers waiting dont matter." Update: when this place is slow, service is good and people are friendly. When they get busy (line out across the terminal), they just don't seem to feel a sense of urgency and continue to move at the same pace as when slow. Manager today just strolled our from the back room and did not move any faster than anyone else. They clearly lose business this way. Guess they feel like people will continue to come here no matter how slow the service is. And today they gave me a coffee instead of a chai. On top of everything, the manager argued with me whether the drink I just rated was chai or coffee. I know the difference but he does not seem to know about customer service. The female cashier serving guests at 8:18 am on Wednesday, 13 September is rude, rude, RUDE. It was bad enough that we waited in the extremely long line only to be told, "Oh, sorry, we ain't makin' any frapps today," and THEN to be told that they aren't accepting CASH?! Just close, dudes. This Starbucks saved my night. I had a connection in Houston, which got me off the plane around 9:30. Unfortunately my flight was delayed 4 hours and I would just be sitting in the airport from 10pm-12am. I knew that I was going to get really hungry and thirsty if I didn't get something for the night. I was supposed to be home by 10:30! Every other restaurant in this whole airport stopped taking guests 20 minutes before and I spent that time running around trying to find something that would serve me. Traveling through Houston Hobby Airport, I needed a pick me up to start my day. I was pleasantly surprised by their efficiency while still having fun entertaining the customers. With fun music playing, many of the staff were able to get many of the customers sing and dance along. It was a first for me while waiting for my coffee. They were able to deliver my order just as fast as any other Starbucks location. Many of the ladies here have the Texas manners. By that I mean any question was followed with a Sir or Ma'am. When you don't hear that on a daily basis, you seem to appreciate those little things even more. Once again I leave a happy customer with my perfect skinny vanilla latte in hand! read more

Starbucks in Hobby airport has got to be the worst service. The line is always long and the young people that work there have no sense of urgency. We stood there waiting for our drinks as the two people who ordered behind me got their drinks I asked about mine and they all just looked at me there was a drink sitting there that had been sitting there for a while. I asked if that's possibly mine and the gentleman ask well what name do you see on it? I said I don't want to touch somebody else's dream if it's not mine he picked it up and said there's no name on it and simply put it back down on the counter. I again asked where my drink was he said if that's what you ordered and that's your drink. I said I'm sorry but that's been there a while and you said somebody else's name when y'all put that down there but there's no name on the cup are you sure he was very obnoxious and rude and condescending and said if that is what you ordered that is your drink by the time I got my drink it was watered down and disgusting I would never come to this Starbucks again. I have heard the complaints before and now I have experienced them first hand. Either get your coffee before you get to the airport or go to Peet's coffee because the young men that work here have horrible condescending service. read more

I would give ZERO stars if I could. Wasted $7 on a grande Peppermint White Mocha Frappuccino at Houston Hobby airport. I asked for my drink to be light - only 2 pumps of each syrup, coconut milk, light whip, light chocolate shavings. Waited patiently for my drink to be ready only to find out that they didn't make it. When I asked where my drink was, they said they never got the ticket print out and then asked me what my order was again. I told them and they still got it wrong! They pumped more than 2 pumps of syrup and handed it to me with no chocolate shavings. What's worse is that once I got to my gate to board my flight, I tasted the Frappuccino and it was disgusting, like horribly rotten milk! I've never had an order from Starbucks go so so wrong.
