This location is the closes to my job and so I often stop by on the way to work. Well today, I wanted a pick me up during lunch so I opted to order at the drive-thru. I typically place my order via the app, but I ordered at the window. I asked for the Matcha Latte, cold, light ice, with almond instead of oat milk and lavender cold foam. In person you can ask for the cold foam to be thick. Online this was not possible. This is the first time after ordering this drink at other locations a Starbucks got it right! It was well balanced and as requested a thick lavender cold foam. Since coming here no one else compares to this location when ordering this drink. This specific location must only hire the most incompetent and unqualified people because I had to come TWICE to get my drink that tasted horribly replaced. I mobile ordered my drink on Sunday and upon leaving is when I realized it was made incorrectly. I could not get in contact with the store manager despite calling numerous times during the day until I pulled up to the drive thru. I explained the situation and all I was told to pull forward. I got my drink replaced and it was made incorrectly YET AGAIN. I just gave up and decided to avoid this location for good. Was in the area so dropped into this Starbucks and got the Iced pumpkin spiced cream chai tea latte - phew a mouthful name !, a bagel and a doppio macchiato The pumpkin latte brought out the autumn feeling quite nice and the weather supported it very well. The dupio macchiato is an espresso, pretty good and the bagel was really nice- fresh and soft. The staff was very friendly, am not sure why the current rating was 1.5 stars... hmm They do have a drive through, but that was making the whole area really crammed and congested otherwise service inside was just fine. read more

I always mobile order like 10 min away from getting to the store. When i get there i always wait 10 more minutes for it to be ready! Should I maybe go to drive thru or just wait to get there to order since maybe thats way faster than mobile ordering. Drinks are always on spot its just the service on mobile order has to improve by alot. I go to work at 6pm and always stop by a drink but its never on time. For those people that are in a hurry, I would definitely NOT recommend this "Starbucks" location. Reason being is because what I thought would only be a 10-minute trip ended up being a 35-minute trip. The location I am focusing on is directly on the corner of Monroe Blvd. and the Gulf Freeway frontage road which runs very close to "William B. Hobby Airport" in south Houston. I came here with my lady on the morning of Friday 8/23/19 around 10:15am. First and foremost, the parking lot and drive-thru here is an absolute disaster. Since the drive-thru had at least 10 cars waiting to order, it snaked into spaces where customers were trying to enter/leave. I was in the middle of this chaotic mess as it became a challenge all in itself just to park as this alone took nearly 5 minutes of our time. It doesn't help one bit as there was several other neighboring business adjacent to this location. Once inside, it wasn't that much better. Even though the interior is nicely laid out and spacious with ample seating and fairly decent Wi-Fi, my lady and I were both confused which line to get into as there was two cashiers, or was it one cashier? It seems as if one of the cashiers that took an order ended up making the drink. Which left us all shaking our heads of who was up next ready to order with two separate lines. Either way, we both waited another 10 minutes just to order and nearly 15 minutes just to get our drinks. Fortunately her Iced Vanilla Latte tasted correct while my Iced Mocha was exactly how I wanted it; 1% milk and no whipped cream. At least that gave us hope that the baristas knew what they were doing even though things moved at a snails' pace. The hours here are very generous as this particular location is opened from 4:30am to 10:30pm seven days a week. But keep in mind that its the only Starbucks within a couple square miles so only come here if you're not in a rush. read more

Lines are always long and understaffed- even since before COVID. They hardly ever have food in stock. Drive thru line does not move and parking lot is so congested it's hard to maneuver in/out of the line. Today is the last time I will come to this location. Overall, customer service is horrible and the Baristas have a bad attitude. I ordered a hot latte and a hot caramel macchiato via the mobile app, but when I went to pick them up I they were both iced. When I told the Barista about my drinks that needed to be corrected, she took the drinks then slammed them hard on the counter. She did not acknowledge me or say anything. This is probably one of the worst Starbucks locations. First the drive through is in such an awkward spot and it gets so full that you wouldn't be able to leave the parking lot till the drive through moves. It feels like they always get something of the order wrong. I even placed an Uber eats order to have delivered and they personally package it at Starbucks and they put one of the drinks wrong.... Super friendly on an icky, rainy day in Houston! Stopped by her on a whim to pick up gift cards as a thank you for my morning destination. Only downfall was that they had ran out of en envelopes for the gift cards. I dont see how that can be if you have all these gift cards and no envelopes for them. That's happenned more than once when I get gift cards...I wonder if they're phasing envelopes out, but if so, just tell us. Hands down the worst Starbucks I have been to. I am all about customer service and this place is definitely lacking. I arrived in Houston for work on October 29. I had been up since 4am and really needed some coffee. This Starbucks location was my first stop. We went through the drive through and took our order. When we got to the window the girl (with out saying a word) opened the window and reached her hand out. Didn't give a total or ask how we were. Took our card and closed the window.
