I found myself early for a car service appointment and had a few minutes to grab coffee at this Starbucks. In shocking news, it looks and feels like every other Starbucks ever assembled by corporate America. Your expectations will be met. The talls that are actually shorts, the ventis that are vaguely Italian-ish, the seasonal drinks, the espresso-adjacent beverages, and all the pumps of artificially flavored sugar your pre-diabetic body desires are here and accounted for. Service was perfectly fine on a Saturday at 7:30 a.m., which is about all one can reasonably ask from a national coffee machine with humans attached to it. The more interesting part is the setting. This being Highlands Ranch, the entire experience is built around the automobile. The Starbucks sits on a corner in a very chain-heavy plaza with the usual suspects nearby. Shake Shack, Torchy's, and the broader parade of suburban convenience masquerading as choice. The drive-thru wraps around the building in a way that makes it very clear who this location is for. Cars glide through with purpose. Pedestrians, meanwhile, are treated like an unwelcome software bug. To get inside, you have to cross the drive-thru lane and stay alert as vehicles enter, loop around, and exit on the other side. It is not impossible. Just weirdly hostile. So yes, the coffee was fine. The staff was fine. The experience was Starbucks. But the design is terrible. Car-first, pedestrian-last, suburbia doing exactly what suburbia does. And yes, the irony is not lost on me that I was only there because I was getting my SUV serviced. Suburban hell comes for us all, apparently with mobile ordering. read more

I've seen some terrible behavior from customers at this location. Parking lot is tough but that's not on the employees. That said, I have to give 5 stars for a young lady named Vinny. This place is always packed which makes it a great environment to be in if you want to be apart of the crowd. I will say though, the drink I got today which was the Iced Chocolate Almond-milk Espresso and I was not impressed. When I first received it, it was completely white with a sliver of chocolate at the bottom of the cup. So I asked the Barista if there was any espresso shots and he confirmed it had some. But I truly believe it did not. Because it just tasted like watered down almond milk. I would recommend the Iced Toasted Vanilla or Brown Sugar Oatmilk shaken espresso over this. read more

The past 6 months or so this location has had horrible customer service. When I go through the drive through and order a tea (the kind you steep) they've either refused to take my order and insisted I go inside to order or made it poorly. It sucks because this location is a convenient spot near the highway and going forward I will be driving out of my way to a different Starbucks. I will not be going back again. read more

We sometimes go to this location in the evening because they stay open later than our preferred location. But lately the service has gotten really bad. When you thank the employees their response is "um yeah" "uh huh" or just blank stare and silence. Last night I ordered a grande Frappuccino and found they made me a tall but filled the bottom with whipped cream to try and hide it. Thats just outright stealing from customers. I wouldn't recommend this location. The one on Santa Fe will now be the only one we go to. read more

I frequently DoorDash and I DETEST picking up orders from this location. The customer service is awful. When I stopped by today I did not see my pick up at the designated spot so I waited a few minutes. At all other locations in the area they have the order ready when I get there or promptly ask what I am waiting for. This one does not. I asked 3 separate team members about the order (that was one drink) and all 3 responded "I'll check on that for you." after 15 minutes I had to drop the order Because I didn't have time to wait for them to get their act together. It wasn't busy maybe 5 people ordered the whole time I was there. I counted 6 team members And not one could find or get started on the order I needed. EVERY TIME I GO HERE I REGRET IT. read more

The staff is very friendly in my opinion but the cafe is FREEZING all the time. If you look around every customer working inside will still wearing their winter jackets. The poor baristas are too busy working hard to care. Winter is freezing, Summer is freezing. I bring an extra jacket to work here comfortably. read more

Did some work there for two hours mid afternoon since I was in the neighborhood on a Wednesday never once saw the three dudes that worked behind the counter ever come out and wipe down any table. I did see a customer having to ask them to do that. But I would think for five dollars per cup of coffee you would have a much cleaner environment. The floor was dirty the bathrooms were equally dirty. One bathroom didn't have toilet paper or soap. That should be checked regularly..music good. read more

This store is definitely on my top 3 Starbucks across the country. The employee's work hard and are very nice. They even go around the tables cleaning and checking if we need anything else. Shoutout to an older gentleman, probably a manager who's there in the morning and is a super nice guy. Anyone complaining about this place can automatically be considered a Karen. read more

They change their hours as the please and don't update them online. So you never know if you can show up and they'll be closed with a chalk sign blocking their drive through that reads "new temporary hours". Unprofessional. read more

This is the first Starbucks that I visited after I moved here from Arizona. Having had several disappointing experiences at other Starbucks that I visited on my move to Colorado, I wasn't expecting much. However I was pleasantly surprised that after the third time I visited the store they called me by name and handed me my drink having already memorized it! I have now lived here for six months and this is still by far the best Starbucks I have been to in Colorado! I have never had a bad experience and that is what keeps me coming back! John Noah and Amy are the three I see the most and they are the best! That being said all of the barista's are amazing and take such pride in their work and the crafting of their drinks.
