Let me start out by saying I'm very spoiled by my OTL Starbux. This place consistently underwhelms with its service and even more so with the inside layout. No comfortable seating! Reminds me of cafeteria seating. not what I want in my coffee house. It is apparent that quantity is the message here. Seat more people without favoring comfort and an overall sense of a 2nd home. My advice, ditch cafeteria seating and bring in something you want to melt into. read more

This Starbucks is so close to my home that is the only one I usually end up going to. The customer service is always amazing whenever I go and deal with feather, Jonathan, Malik and Jessenia! There are two people that I care not to do it but other than that! This place is so friendly and efficient. From feathers personal hand written messages on my cup to Malik and Jonathan asking how I've been, and Jessenias amazing customer service no matter how busy she is always so sweet and efficient. They all know what I get and are alway so friendly. This is the only reason I continue to go there. Honestly, the girl who took my order was nice. But the baristas who were making the coffees and warming up the food not. They ran out of bacon and Gouda sandwiches. Barista "we are out of bacon Gouda sandwiches. Do you want bacon or sausage? Or get back in line!" ..... ok she didn't need to be rude about it. I come to this Starbucks quite often but it's typically thru the drive thru. The line can get pretty long especially in the mornings but that's typical with any Starbucks. The employees are always super friendly when they take your order and they get the line moving pretty quickly. Their pastries and snacks are always stocked up when I come in and they always have the protein boxes I like on hand. The only reason I gave them 4 stars is because their drinks are not always consistent. There's been more than one occasion where my tea doesn't taste like it was shaken more like it was just poured in the cup and had some ice thrown in. read more

Starbucks was releasing studded cups today, I woke up really early to buy one for my mom. The cashier said that they did not receive any. So I went to my car and I was sitting there for a moment. I see the cashier grab four bags and start ringing them up at the main register. She had two cups in each bag. Pulled out various different colors. They were all purchasing for themselves. I went back inside and said I thought they didn't have any. She told me that they were holds for a customer at the drive thru. I asked why they were ringing them up at the main register if it was at the drive thru and I thought they didn't do holds. The girl didn't say anything after that. I went back to my car and left. This is the worst Starbucks in the area of Highland. They NEVER have supplies to make the drinks. Today they had no pineapple syrup for the seasonal pineapple drink on promotion. This is a common practice for this location they never have the supplies and run out. So don't come here if you expect the latest and want to try something new. You would think they would get a clue and start ordering to the demand instead of constantly running out. My advice of to any other Starbucks but this one! I usually come here often since it's close to my house but it seems as though I only get lucky when certain people work. If I tend to go on other random days, I get helped by the non nicest people who always get my order wrong. Today I thought, why not? I'll go and get myself a tea. While I was at the drive-thru, I was being helped by a girl, halfway through the order (I was ordering two drinks) this male voice interrupted and asked me "is that all?" and I said "yes, if you got my second order" and then he just continued by saying "go ahead and pull up to the window." He didn't even go over my order to see if it was right or anything. I pulled up to the window and the girl took my money and then reviewed my order. I asked for a trenta passion iced tea sweetened with 9 pumps of classic syrup. What she read back my order, she said it was with 12 pumps of classic syrup and I immediately said "no I ordered it with 9 pumps". She was standing there and yelled out to the person who was making my order "hey, it's not 12 pumps, its 9!" and I didn't even get an apology of any sort. I got my drinks, and on my way home while I was drinking my tea, all I tasted was syrup, no passion tea at all. It was very disgusting and I was mad at how they couldn't have took it upon themselves to make me a new drink when they got it wrong. This is the slowest Starbucks I've ever been. At first I thought their morning staff was extremely slow, but they are slow in the afternoon and evening also. What an awful experience. Don't go within 45 minutes of closing, because they will put all of the chairs up around you! I couldn't believe how rude the staff was. One girl who works there even tapped me on the shoulder to tell me that I needed to leave at 9:30 because they wanted to be able to close at 10 and they needed to sweep. Here's a weird little fact. When I start drinking out of a straw, it's really REALLY hard to stop. So when it's 100 degrees out and/or I've been working outside on the yard all morning, I stop in at Starbucks for an iced coffee. I take it home and drink it in about 30 seconds. Then, I fill it with ice and water and down THAT. I then repeat that a couple times and then an hour later I pretty much just stay in the bathroom with a couple magazines. So in conclusion, Starbucks iced coffee has improved my summer hydration, and for that, I am thankful. read more
