I have been coming to this Starbucks for several years and find the staff charming. It is like a little family and there are regulars who sit in a little corner who I enjoy saying good morning to. I chuckle at times because there are often cars hanging out in the street to go to the drive thru. This is how popular this Starbucks is. Several times the staff have told me I can sign up for their app to get points for free drinks but I don't like apps so I pay full price and it is worth it to me. Staff: The young man at the window was so nice. I unfortunately forgot his name. Quality: The food was as good as expected from Starbucks. My issue with the store itself was the condition of the outside of the store. We used the drive thru and could see trash littered around the outside in a couple of areas, mainly the outdoor area which does not appear to be in use. Now we were told they are closing for a few weeks which may be to update the store, but even if this is the case, there needs to be a minimum level of respect for the store appearance. Overall: If I am passing through again, I may stop by but I don't l know if I'll be back given the condition of the store. read more

Starbucks corporate wonders why it's not doing well. See included pictures, I usually order a simple latte for myself but that seems to be too hard for baristas. A common issue in the inland empire in general is not getting a full coffee and when prices land between $6-$8 that's the equivalent of stealing. Since when has it become a standard practice to hand someone a latte that's 1/2 filled up? The contents of this venti fit into a tall cup. Should the cashier respond whatever a deaf person trying to say in typing notes when asking questions. Because last time I bought a Frappe caramel ribbon crunch and it didn't have any topping crunch so they gave me a blend caramel ribbon crunch without topping that why I ask if you have a ribbon crunch staff are supposed to provide by saying don't have instead of paying. And as for the caramel syrup around the cup we don't like the PUMP SYRUP we only like the syrup sauce. Staff don't understand what I was saying when I said no pump just regular sauce. Then ask me to put in blend with the sauce, I said no just make th frappe how you make it just all I want was the caramel syrup sauce. Would be better for more respond when anyone ask questions. It's always a shame to me when I have to downgrade my review of a favorite spot. Anyone who reads my Yelps on a semi-regular basis knows I'm a fan of Starbucks in general. This location was the first to open in Highland, and so has sentimental appeal to me. Recently the location shut down temporarily for a remodel. A few local locations have been remodeling lately so I admit I was rather excitedly curious. Today I was able to pop into the lobby to see what was "new and improved". Needless to say, I was less than impressed with the remodel. Where do I start? Firstly, they re-vamped the layout of the lobby and slashed the size of the customer lobby BY AT LEAST HALF!! As shown by the pictures I am posting, they've vastly increased the space occupied by the order/pick up area and relocated the kitchen to where the side entrance used to be. There are also only 3 small tables in the customer lobby. And they occupy a small area almost like an afterthought. To add to this, as shown from the pic I included, all wall outlets where someone might want to plug in a laptop or some other charger near the tables have been covered over by a wall plate. It's obvious to see what they are trying to achieve with this remodel. They are trying to increase the flow and efficiency of in-store traffic so people don't linger as long. This is all fine and good; especially since the parking and drive-thru situation at this location has always been a challenge. They have also removed one of the restrooms; cutting the number down to 1. However, Starbucks has always been a haven for people to be able to relax, socialize and even get some work done whilst enjoying a cup or two. To be fair, the inside is very clean, bright and airy. This is accentuated by the new large picture windows that have been installed in the front. But former customers to this location are bound to be confused and saddened by the new lobby design. I know I was. It's almost like they don't value the customer experience anymore that Starbucks was known for and are more interested in getting customers through the line and out the door. Talking to a couple of employees there, I was informed that quite a few other customers have said things similar to me on this. Yeah.. sorely disappointed. I came in to Starbucks on 27615 Baseline Rd in Highland,Ca and I had the worse experience here Wow!!! Didn't get a welcome when coming in, I had to ask if someone was going to help me after just standing there for over 10 minutes and no one letting me know if they were going they we were going to take my order. I order a pour over and I was giving something else, I was giving my food items very rudely and one of the managers Yésica ask if there was a problem and aside of being unapologetic she rolled her eyes and proceeded to say if you want to complain you can call the 800 # and complain there. I had a issue here years ago and honestly now I remembered why I stopped coming to this location. Very uncomfortable situation. On a different note the store was very very dirty, trash was up to the top, counters and tables were sticky and disgusting. When I asked why the lobby was closed and locked at 10:45pm I was told by the worker at the drive thru that the lobby closed at 10pm and the drive thru closed at 11pm. I said then change your sign and your website. I was told I was wrong and so I drove back around to read the sign in the drive thru and it stated lobby 11pm and drive thru 12pm. Even the website states they are open to midnight. I don't care when you close but put the correct time on your signage and website so I don't drive all the way there for nothing! read more

I'm constantly and happy whenever I come to this location. My orders are constantly wrong regardless if I order via mobile app in person or at the drive-through. I've had multiple Bri says and I still always have the same problem I don't understand what's so hard? I literally ordered the same drink hot and cold I know how it should taste I know how many pumps are in it today I'm frustrated because I ordered a grande Caramell Maki Otto one shot of espresso with an extra two pumps of vanilla in person. I was given a triple caramel macchiato I can't drink that shit I'm going to get heart Papel Tatian and I'm stuck indoors all day working a 15 hour shift with no coffee now. It's really put a damper on my day they continuously do this to me it's really frustrating my boyfriend lives in Highland and it's the only local Starbucks I have to go out of my way to come here let alone go out of my way to go anywhere else. This is the closest Starbucks near me. I tend to go before work. If you're in a hurry, it's better to order inside or order through the app and pickup. The drive through can get pretty ridiculous. Sometimes you can get really lucky and beat the ridiculous drive through line before it starts. I really enjoy the atmosphere inside. The employees are all great. Great customer service! This Starbucks is right off the freeway and super packed during commute hours for all those getting on and off the road to and from work. Although the line is ridiculously long AND mobile orders seem to be I save as well, the baristas and cashiers are still kind, and moving briskly to get the job done! I waited about 20 minutes for my mobile order, but I wasn't in a rush, so if you're in a time constraint, order before leaving home. The drive through seems to move pretty quickly as well. read more

Ordered five drinks and two items from bakery on the app. Went to pick it up 4 cold drinks 1 regular coffee with half-and-half. When we arrived The coffee was on the counter and the barista said it will only be a minute for the rest of our order. We waited 9 minutes. I asked about my regular coffee being cold and she felt it and said "it's still very hot" and walked away. Got to the car got on the road went to take a drink of the "still very hot" coffee, and it was lukewarm. I called, asked to speak to a manager and an employee that sounded like she was a high School Cheerleader told me she was the manager and that, we should've complained. They would've replaced it. We did complain. They didn't replace it. My money, not theirs paid for that order! Horrible service!!!!
