This Baskin Robbins location was great. Friendly lady working which i assume was the owner. She was nice and very welcoming. The store is well maintained. Lots of yummy treats. Ice cream scoops aren't skimpy like other locations. They give you nice fat scoops! We both got a double scoop that we ate in house. Then we grabbed 2 to go qauart and one fresh packed. I stopped by for a cold pick-me-up. On this early evening the parking was easy and plentiful. This place was empty, so service was super quick. I had a Very Berry Strawberry scoop, see my pic. Overall it was okay. It was nice and cold. The strawberry fruit in the ice cream was either bits and pieces, or berry compositions. These had a nice cold bite, but lacked any depth of strawberry flavor. The strawberry ice cream's flavor was mildly flavored. The ice cream itself was somewhat creamy. read more

Since when did they start charging a dollar for whipped cream on milkshakes? This is the first time I have ever been charged for that, plus I was not told that there would be an extra fee which would have allowed me to decline if I wanted to. I did not see the additional fee until I looked at the bill. However, if you want to experience the nostalgia of going to the ice cream shop with your kids pass on the location on Baseline in Highland. The last handful of times my whole family has been treated so rude and as if we are a bother to the two girls that work there. They want you to pick your flavors as soon as you walk in and are annoyed when you're not quick enough. Then they expect a tip when they can't crack a smile or even say thank you. If you don't give them a tip you'll get side eye. Don't worry they've enough dirty looks to go around to your children as well. Which makes your kids feel like they are doing something wrong. By far the worst customer service I have ever experienced. My boyfriend signed up for the birthday scoop and the app put his birthday as the wrong date ( he used Facebook to sign in to the app so obviously it was the app glitch and not him putting the date in wrong). I have purchased ice cream cones for kids at this location and great experience place is well kept and clean. I ordered cake for my daughter and son. The picture both online and even more in person based on their folder selection shows a Tiffany color look alike. (More on turquoise-side). Not blue. I added pictures. Now listen a cake is a cake but my decor is not blue. The questioning by guests with blue cake? We all just laughed, like The Who cares it's a cake? And, " heyyyy it's highland BR they likely only had blue!" So whatever. Love the ice cream, but too bad customer service sucks ass. We (my mom and I) went today (May 29, 2018) and were helped by Tamara. No problem until we got to the chocolate milkshake. I didn't think it was gonna be so hard to make one, but according to her, it seemed pretty tough. As she was ringing us up while her coworker Stephanie finished making the shake, she decided to tell her that she "made fucking chocolate milk" right in front of us and other patrons. Then, Stephanie didn't rinse nor change the cup, so now it was gathering bacteria from the leftover "milk" that Tamara left over, and she poured the shake into the cup. So my mom asked for their names and corporate number, and that's when Stephanie said her manager would be there in the morning and sarcastically claimed that "I can be there too if you want." Change your hours if you're not going to serve up until closing times. Showed up 15 minutes before closing and two female employees were sitting at the customer tables on their phones when I walked in and they said they were closed. Door was unlocked and sign said open until 10pm. When I walked out they continued sitting there on their phones and a few minutes later another customer walks in because the door was still unlocked and it wasn't 10pm yet and again they tell him they are closed. I was the only person in the place. Stood at the counter for a long time. Workers were in the back, and glanced at me. Finally after several minutes another customer came in, was greeted and welcomed, which they helped right away. Another woman came in, and one of the girls working, happily greeted her right away. Now I had been first in line, at the counter and I asked the three young workers if I was invisible. They just gave a zombie look. Youngster didn't get it. I was not greeted and I got run around to help latecomers. She rudely declared "What did you want?" in a not very nice way. Instead of getting what I wanted, she yelled for someone in the back to come to the front and get it. That took a few more minutes. I realize I am old. I realize I am by myself.... a single old white man. Don't rub it in by acting rude to people. You're not all that, and the ice cream is way overpriced anyway. As I walked in the door, I was greeted by 2 friendly female employees and also offered a sample of the flavor of the month (Pumpkin Cheese Cake). The service was wonderful, staff very friendly & very professional. The staff always kept a smile even after I changed my order 3 times and refused the flavor of the month. Tuesday nights a scoop is $1.50 for the regular scoops. So yeah, I'm here every Tuesday. The owner lady didn't see me last week and was all "Hey you didn't come last week!" and I protested and the scooper guy backed me up, and owner lady said she'd check the tapes. haha AND THE LUNAR CHEESECAKE ICE CREAM CHANGED MY LIFE. The manager was very friendly, although he was working alone and so service was slow. Even still, I appreciate when a manager gets his hands dirty. Just ok! The owners have their little girls about 3 and 4 years old running around the place and behind the counter. When you pay for something with the cashier...the little girls sometimes grab the money and play with it. The cashiers...do not know what to do as....heck they are their bosses kids..right! So, I stay away from this 31 Flavors and go a few blocks down to another...that does not have seating...but I just go home and eat it!
