    cup of ice cream
    Monty D.

I stopped by for a cold pick-me-up. On this early evening the parking was easy and plentiful. This place was empty, so service was super quick. I had a Very Berry Strawberry scoop, see my pic. Overall it was okay. It was nice and cold. The strawberry fruit in the ice cream was either bits and pieces, or berry compositions. These had a nice cold bite, but lacked any depth of strawberry flavor. The strawberry ice cream's flavor was mildly flavored. The ice cream itself was somewhat creamy.

Really speedy service and clean establishment. Line moved quickly and I really appreciate the amazing service I received. Keep up the great work & I'll be back! The ice cream shakes are next level and you can add bananas.

The workers are friendly and the place was well kept. Always a great place to stop by for a quick treat :3 This was my first time trying pistachio ice cream and it was light, sweet, and creamy while the strawberry cheesecake was sweeter and very cheesecake like!

    Extra fees for whipped cream?
    Danielle S.

Since when did they start charging a dollar for whipped cream on milkshakes? This is the first time I have ever been charged for that, plus I was not told that there would be an extra fee which would have allowed me to decline if I wanted to. I did not see the additional fee until I looked at the bill. I am not sure if that is a new thing or something specific to this location but I am unimpressed....I'll stick with R Burger, their shakes come with whipped cream and are much better!

Wanted to get myself a treat since I just got my vaccine shot and noticed this place was nearby. I wanted strawberry but it was almost gone so I opted for the cherry jubilee. Taste delicious!

Sample of blue cakes on their website and albums at the store.
    Nance C.

I have purchased ice cream cones for kids at this location and great experience place is well kept and clean. I ordered cake for my daughter and son. The picture both online and even more in person based on their folder selection shows a Tiffany color look alike. (More on turquoise-side). Not blue. I added pictures. Now listen a cake is a cake but my decor is not blue. The questioning by guests with blue cake? We all just laughed, like The Who cares it's a cake? And, " heyyyy it's highland BR they likely only had blue!" So whatever. The subtraction from a 5 star is the fact that the manager does not apologize and instead tells me the cake is blue like his store picture album. Really? Look at your blue cakes (I added sample picture of what their blue cakes look like). So a simple "I apologize" and that's it's! Thank you but don't deceive me. Blue is blue. He was rude about it. Like tables turn on business/customer. I'll commute to Redlands BR.

Love the ice cream, but too bad customer service sucks ass. We (my mom and I) went today (May 29, 2018) and were helped by Tamara. No problem until we got to the chocolate milkshake. I didn't think it was gonna be so hard to make one, but according to her, it seemed pretty tough. As she was ringing us up while her coworker Stephanie finished making the shake, she decided to tell her that she "made fucking chocolate milk" right in front of us and other patrons. Then, Stephanie didn't rinse nor change the cup, so now it was gathering bacteria from the leftover "milk" that Tamara left over, and she poured the shake into the cup. So my mom asked for their names and corporate number, and that's when Stephanie said her manager would be there in the morning and sarcastically claimed that "I can be there too if you want." Do yourself a favor and drive to Cold Stone in Redlands. Better ice cream and way better customer service.

First off, the ambience is great. The café is decorated with cute French-themed touches, and it has a cozy, inviting vibe. The employees were also friendly and welcoming, which I appreciated. For food, I ordered a turkey sandwich. It was good overall--more of a torta-style sandwich with flavorful ingredients, served on toasted white bread. No complaints there. Unfortunately, the coffee was a letdown. I ordered the horchata latte, but it tasted like low-quality coffee. I didn't really get any horchata flavor--more like a watered-down vanilla/cinnamon latte. For dessert, I tried the key lime tart. It wasn't very sweet, and the crust was extremely dry. Considering it was almost $10 for a fairly small tart, it didn't feel worth the price. Speaking of price, the overall cost felt overpriced for what you get. I paid around $30 for a sandwich, coffee, and tart, which felt steep given the quality of the items I tried. Service timing was another issue. A group came in after me, and my order wasn't started until after they took everyone else's order. Normally this wouldn't bother me, but I was in a bit of a hurry, and it ended up holding me up longer than expected. That said, it does seem like crepes are their main specialty, and judging by other reviews, those might be worth trying. If you're going specifically for crepes, it may still be worth a visit. However, based on my experience with the sandwich, coffee, and dessert, I personally wouldn't return. I genuinely wish them the best as a small business--it just wasn't for me.

Here I was to experience it once more. Yes, I've been here in the past. Parking was easy right in front of the shop. It was about 20 minutes until closing time. There was still a line, but not too long so it went swiftly. Atmosphere was clean and bright. Ambiance has a Hawaiian flare to it. If I didn't know better, I would have thought I was in Hawaii. Limited outside seating and some inside seating. There's a cool cabana hut-like section you may sit at. One all gender restroom available for use. Staff was super fantastic and friendly. They serve the ice cream in quite a variety... fruit bowls, mangonada, vegan/dairy free ice cream, soft serve, floats, shakes, etc. You may even take home pre-packaged pints to-go. Cute shirts for sale, too. As for here, free samples available on any flavors. You may try them all (that's what they say). Sweet! Of course I didn't try all of them, but maybe one day I will. WOW, so many unique and interesting combination of flavors. I sampled 5 flavors as shown below. *Navels & Ganache - Bright navel orange ice cream mixed with rich, dark chocolate ganache chunks *Ube Macapuno - Philippine purple ube root mixed with macapuno (coconut) puree *Date Casablanca - Medajool date ice cream with a date/caramel swirl *Honeysuckle Rose - Honey sweetened vanilla ice cream with rose petal extract *Kauai Pie - Kona coffee ice cream, Hawaiian macadamia nuts, shredded and lightly toasted coconut, and rich dark chocolate fudge I ended up getting one regular cup with 2 flavors for $6.50... very reasonable price! My two picks were Ube Mascapuno and Kauai Pie. Good size scoops. Very rich and smooth texture. Ube was spectacular! YUMMY!! Kauai was good, but unfornately, it didn't pair too well with Ube IMHO. I won't do that again. I will, however, return and try their other fun and tasty flavors. I'll be back and so should you if you've been here before.
