Oh the irony, here we are at Starbucks! It's the best of all worlds and times. Some days, most days it's Starbucks ! Why probably because it's right along the way . They usually and have gotten better at making my coffee the way I want it . So what's your Starbucks order! It's a venti quad cappuccino with whipped on top . Now let's begin the day. Now once in a while it's a Venti Americano with added oat milk and we are off to the day! Now that we have discussed what we are having the caffeine is still brewing and it's time to wait. This is a great Starbucks! Friendly staff, fast drive-thru, clean, and easy to get in and out of the shopping center and back home or down Green Valley to 215. I love using my app to earn points and now I get notifications about the "Secret Menu". Today, I tried the secret Caramel Apple and it was good! I go to this starbucks quite often and usually have a good experience since I work in the same parking lot, but today I had an encounter I hope not to have again. I had pulled up to the speaker, not quite ready to order as I needed to look at the menu. The lady who took my order is named Mel, an older lady, and man was she rude! I don't see well and need some extra time to read. I had told her if I could get a minute to look at the menu. After only a few seconds, she started yelling "hello?! are you ready?!" and as I tried to respond, she started to talk over me, not listening to me say I am almost ready to order. Although I had a terrible experience with Mel, I do want to shoutout Maddie for being so sweet and helpful regarding the issue I had politely wanted addressed. I probably get coffee here once a week, and they've never gotten my order wrong (I often customize my drinks to lower the sweetness level). Expect your drinks to take around 10 minutes since they're always packed, and the drive thru line sometimes extends out of the parking lot. This location is pretty large with plenty of seating inside and out, and it's usually pretty clean. read more

Yesterday I reviewed Donut Mania which is a mom & pop shop specializing in pastry donuts. This review touched on the fact that I would compliment the Donut Mania experience by bringing them a few doors down to the new Starbuck's where I would take breaks with a Starbuck's coffee. On the flip side of my Donut Mania experience, I am reviewing the very Starbuck's in the shadow of Donut Mania. Donut Mania is not the only mania in town. Starbuck's Mania has been conquering Las Vegas and the World one coffee shop at a time. After the worst of the Recession, the Starbuck's building boom has resumed. One of the newest locations to replace Henderson desert is this very one in the Green Valley at Horizon Ridge Parkways Target-anchored Shopping Center. This Starbuck's is at the southernmost point of Green Valley Parkway near the McCullough Mountains foothills. Before I head to the mountains I have stopped here. That's been before hiking in the Sloan Canyon National Conservation Area and nearby walking trails. Well aware that I will be burning calories, when I was in the mood for pastries I'd pass over the Starbuck's pastries and head into Donut Mania to pick up a couple of out-of this-world pastry donuts. The way I see it, this Starbuck's is also a first-rate donut stop. Just like the surrounding area, there is this upbeat environment of newness. As I write this, construction workers are building new homes near the parking lot. Fitting into the environment of newness, this is a contemporary coffee shop that offers a commodious cafe with a variety of tables inside and outside with the addition of a drive-thru. The drive thru is well laid out avoiding the cluster of stopped cars that could spoil the Starbuck's experience (Eastern at Russell and Durango at Farm Road come to mind). Representing this Starbuck's are batistas on top of their game. Every time that I have been here the batistas have been fast and friendly. In conclusion, not every Starbuck's is the same. If I were to review every Starbuck's in the world, no review would be identical. With every Starbuck's being different, I consider this the Donut Mania and a Sloan Canyon Gateway Starbuck's. The major difference between Starbuck's and a donut is that a coffee is zero calories whereas a donut is I don't want to know how many calories. The reality is that I don't always plan on returning with Donuts next to my coffee. Donuts or no donuts with my coffee, I plan to be back. In the future I might replace it with the Target Starbuck's combine it with other places in the shopping center and nearby community. read more

I just want to say it would be really nice if the menu items indicated whether or not there is caffeine/coffee in the drink. I just went to Starbucks for my afternoon coffee and decided to get some thing a little bit fancier and ordered a vanilla bean Frappuccino. Was surprised when it was white and looks like a milkshake. When I looked up the caffeine content it was zero and coffee content was also zero. I was looking for some caffeine/coffee, and apparently wasted my money. I came for medicine ball tea since ive been sick for a week. I dont have a favorite Starbucks i go, just whichever is closer. They were out of all ingredients to make my tea. The nice man suggested other hot tea and added sugar free vanilla. I also got a cold dragonfly passion tea with sugar free vanilla and wanted hazelnut, they were out of hazelnut. The man again suggested brown sugar so i said ok. I got to the register and the nicest woman working handed me a chocolate frappe with whipped cream. She sAid this was extra!!!! Alright cooperate, who's bright idea was it to place a Starbucks in such a tight location?? It's in a cramped corner and shares a parking lot with other businesses. The drive thru line gets long and gets in the way of parking spaces. This is probably the worst located Starbucks I've ever seen. Besides that, I have no other complaints. The employees are friendly despite them always being busy. I've seen the trash can full once or twice, but the rest of the establishment is clean. It's located in the same plaza as Target, so I'm sure I'll stop in before or after shopping trips. The end! read more

After such a frustrating experience, rude staff, in the Marks Street location, we decided to go, today, to the Green Valley location across from Target. We were very surprised to see a lot of patrons enjoying their breakfast and coffee at the out side sitting area at this location. We have been at this location before but not recently, during the COVID 19 pandemic. We ordered our coffee and food on line and went inside to pick up. It took them a little while to prepare our cups of coffee as well as our food order. We ordered the Croissant ham and cheese and the a slice of Pumpkin bread. Due to my birthday, they gave me a complimentary birthday Cake pop. That was a nice touch. The Croissant, Ham and Cheese are so delicious. It's one of my favorite items to order at Starbucks and since their Holiday Coffees are out, I ordered the Toasted White Mocha Coffee. The coffee and food were made hot and it was such a delight to have during this cold day. The staff was not rude at all, unlike the staff the Marks location. They did not tell us that we cannot sit in their chairs if we will not order. They welcomed us instead with a smile and a "Hello" and asked us what they can start for us. We told them we ordered online and we are there to pick up. The only thing that was a little unsatisfactory to me is the bit of a wait time but I can over look that as the service that they gave us is good. If you are near this area and are in cravings for some Starbucks, this is the place to go. Enjoy and stay safe. CHEERS! read more

Love it! Walked from my parents Dr. appt at the Healthcare Partners to the Starbucks. Very nice, clean, large & was immediately greeted by a sweet girl. My eyes were stuck to the pastries, desserts & other goodies in the case so when she asked if I wanted anything else, I almost picked out a pumpkin cookie, a new mini everything bagel & a coffee cake. I also like the new ceramic holiday pumpkin coffee cup, which I collect, but I would like more pumpkins on it & for it to not read 'TEAM PSL' (Pumpkin Spice Latte? Lol) so I passed. Overall, my iced triple espresso w/ 2 Splenda was delish! I will be back to this one again. I do hope that they get a wall of ceramic coffee cups like the old one on Horizon Ridge & Eastern had. Given how close this location is to my home, it's my go-to Starbucks. Pre-COVID19, I enjoyed sitting inside, doing my work with a cup of Jo. Unlike the Starbucks location back home (Los Angeles), they still allow charging laptops here. My experiences with the quality of the beverages and services have been mostly good. Baristas and employees have always been kind and welcoming. Drinks have been mostly what I've expected. I've never had problem with the warm beverages, however, a couple times the iced beverages were too watered-down (or simply too much ice). My one complaint is the drive thru line. It's really not convenient at all when there's 5+ cars waiting. The wait isn't bad...the lot is just not designed in a way to accommodate a long line. read more

I ordered ahead of time and went inside to pick it up. I was very disappointed in the sense of urgency in this location. After waiting 10 minutes after my order time was supposed to be complete, I reached out to one of the employees. They said someone must've picked up my sandwich. So they remade it. The remake then took a while and didn't make it to me until I asked again. Where it was just sitting on the counter. I was hesitant and making this review because it's a Starbucks and it may not matter. Also this is the only one Near my brothers house that does order ahead of time through the Starbucks app. So it sucks that this location is not up to par as the others. read more

I went through the drive thru, when I got to the window to pay, the lady reached out her hand for payment rather then handing me the device to choose a tip and tap my card myself. I handed her a $5 gift card and my debit card to pay my balance. When I got home I noticed she charged my card for the total balance and didn't apply the $5 gift card. I called the store & found out she gave herself a $5 tip and charged my debit card for the total balance. The shift supervisor, Mason, said he was sure it was a mistake & that he would void the whole transaction. I never got a refund. I called the store again, the supervisor said it takes time & I should be getting my refund. I ended up calling the store again to speak to the store manager. The supervisor took a message and left it for the manager to call me back, he never called me back. I never received a refund. read more

This Starbucks has the dumbest model. I ordered a simple coffee with cream. Even the bar has to make a simple coffee- DONT COME HERE - I had enough time to download yelp, create a profile. That's the whole reason I only order a coffee with a splash of cream but I had a sit behind everyone with a specialized coffee - NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN - and I said a splash of cream which typically to any barista is a small amount - my coffee is almost yellow they put so much cream in here and my lid was cracked but being I spent 12 minutes waiting for a simple cup of coffee I didn't have time to thoroughly investigate my cup????!!!! First off, I do love this location, and the baristas are super friendly. The new order taking system with the barista standing with an iPad, however, seems to backup traffic. I think the idea is to give more personalized, smoother service, but while I love the friendly chats, I do feel for the folks rushing to get to work behind me. This is an excellent location and a heavily trafficked one. In the mornings, they are always slammed at the drive through and there are lots of people in the store. And yet the ladies that work there (all ladies, as far as I can tell!) are all efficient, polite, and accurate in their orders. I come nearly every morning and get a coffee, head off to walk my dog and come back for a refill. Technically, they're probably not really supposed to give me the refill since I've left the premises. But they do, and I'm grateful, and I keep coming back. Service with a smile! read more

But the drink they made ( iced Carmel macchiato with coconut milk) was just plain out disgusting. It had some funky taste and it had the floating powder stuff on top? We Starbucks location 735 S Green Valley Pkwy and love when Nikki makes our coffee. Since moving here we frequently go and have had our coffee made by all the staff and their good but she make it perfect evertime. My family and I love that most staff always welcome us and a few even remember you. We highly recommend having your coffee made by Nikki. read more

It pains me to write this review, as we've been loyal customers for 4 years, since we moved close to this location. Lately the drive-thru has been taking an excessive amount of time, so it is no longer feasible for me or my husband to stop by for coffee in the mornings, before work. Also, they seem to have difficulty processing orders accurately. For instance, a few days ago, employees took such a long time that my husband had to leave with only his drink and not his pastry. He told them that he would be back for the cookie another day because it was taking too long (about 10 mnts waiting). Well, he went back this morning, placed an order through the drive thru and then told the lady who took the order about the pastry. She replied "I can't just give it to you." Then he told the lady who charged him for the order and she just said "I'm sorry it took so long, but I can't give it to you". Then he went inside the store, and all the employees started laughing at him when he asked to speak with a manager. After a few seconds, Mason, reportedly the manager, told him that a lot of people make false claims to have paid for things. He had to tell him the exact date and time he placed his order for him to believe him. It was a horrible experience, as my husband felt he was being treated as a thief as the employees were also laughing. Sad that these new employees are rude, don't know what they're doing, and don't seem to care about the customer. Mason did try to remediate the situation after verifying the transaction and said "I'll make it up to you." My husband told them he was not seeking anything for free. Corporate, please train your employees better. This is a nice location and you get a lot of business from the neighborhoods nearby. read more
