He helped me as well to show me how to use the app to check if my Menchie points expired. All while he is rocking the register and ringing people up. It's a ONE MAN show and he works hard. People need to be a bit more kind and give this man a chance. He is nice but it's his store; his rules. I'm sad to have to write a negative review about another place we love, but another one bites the dust. We've been coming here as long as I can remember! Due to location and taste, it is by far my favorite. Sending my husband for their pint deals got me through Covid shut-down pregnancy cravings back in the day. We continue to go fairly often and rarely spend less than $25-30 every time since we have 3 kids who love to load up their cups. We recently noticed new owners from the typical friendly owner who was there for years. Tonight my daughter and I went in and she got her own cup and I grabbed a pint from the freezer for the rest of the family since my 2 other girls were home not feeling great. I knew they'd be so excited when I got home with their favorite treat. As we were leaving my daughter took a spoon for herself and then realized her sisters would probably be jealous of her pink spoon and grabbed 2 more for them to use for the pint at home. The store owner scolded my 7 year old child saying "you already got one - why do you need more?" I laughed because I truly thought he was teasing my child until I realized he was dead serious. While my mama bear instincts made me want to jump over the counter and take all the spoons, I remained calm and asked "you are joking with her, right?" He said "no, we do not get any benefits from the pints, so they do not include spoons. This time is fine, but next time please only take one". I was still in shock that he wasn't joking. Perhaps this rule should be displayed somewhere before calling out a little girl for taking two spoons for her sisters who are going to consume the $8 pint at home. My daughter cried when we got in the car because she felt like she did something wrong. Maybe their budget can be reviewed if the cost of the pints is outweighing the benefit, but respectfully, that is not my burden to carry. Sadly this experience totally made me lose respect for the new ownership and I don't think I'll be back, I hope these 2 plastic spoons were worth the hundreds of dollars we would have continued to spend there. :( read more

We are currently here as I write this review. There are two young men working. The one behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. However, while we were filling our yogurt cups, a strong and unpleasant body odor filled the entire store. Another employee, a thinner man with long, unkempt hair, came out from the back and began wiping the countertops. After reading previous reviews mentioning this same issue, I am very surprised this situation has not been addressed. This location has Extremely gone downhill since new owners have taken over! Went in for some froyo and saw new flavors we wanted to try. Mind you we frequent this location and continued when ownership changed. We were told NO samples so they could keep the line moving (it was Feb 6 BOGO) Now, first it takes 2 seconds to give me a sample, and there was absolutely NO line anywhere! It's 1pm. My family and I went yesterday 01/02/26 to our favorite yogurt shop. As we walked in I noticed a smell and then as we served our yogurt I noticed it was dirty and the fruit bar was dirty and empty. I was a bit confused because the owner always had the place spotless. As we were checking out something was off the young man helping was Not pleasant and his appearance was not clean. I am assuming the franchise owner has read some of the concerning reviews and has taken steps to improve things. I returned to Menchie's last week, and there was a clean cut employee who greeted us cheerfully. There were no bad odors as there had been my prior visit that created the need to update my glowing 1st review with a negative review. The establishment was clean. This Menchies location was in a side parking lot which made it a bit confusing to park. However, it was clean and well stocked when you dropped in. Staff was warm and inviting. Yogurt nozzles were clean and perfect temperature to not melt instantly once outside. The flavors and toppings offered something for all tastes. I'd definitely return. It's been a very long time since I stepped inside of a self-serve frozen yogurt spot (would go to one of these on Fridays when I was in high school). You can find Menchie's next to the new Orange Salon in the Target shopping complex. It's a small place with not a whole lot of seating but it's still worth checking out. We came here after having sushi for dinner. We walked in and chose our frozen yogurt flavors and toppings. I chose cookies and cream and vanilla/chocolate swirled together, topped off with cupcake bites, rainbow sprinkles, marshmallow syrup, and chocolate syrup. My boyfriend chose strawberry and vanilla, topped off with peanut M&M's, cinnamon toast crush cereal bites, rainbow sprinkles, and chocolate syrup. The guy working behind the counter asked us if we were going to stay here or take our frozen yogurt to go. We told him that we were going to take it back with us and he asked us if we could have our cups covered and put them in a bag. This was super convenient and very helpful to avoid spills and/or drips of our frozen yogurt on the way back. Though I don't live very far from here, they still held up nicely throughout the entire drive back. The frozen yogurt was spot on and soooo delicious, especially the cookies and cream, the cupcake bites, and the marshmallow syrup! This place was owned by a family previously that always kept things really clean and fresh and had great customer service. They are gone. When we walked in there this evening there was a body odor that filled up the store. The worker was clearly unkempt and had filthy hair. The owner walked past us and the smell from him was awful. They had dirty gloves, one was missing a finger to the glove and then they handed me sample cups, I didn't want to use them. He snapped at my 6 year old. It was a very disappointing and we won't return. It was $30 for 4 yogurts that were half full. Just overall bad bad. We sat and ate in our car because we couldn't stand the smell inside. This lovely establishment has certainly taken a turn for the worse. I wasn't even going to write a review, but I just read the exact same unpleasant experience my family had when we went there as well. Rather upsetting as it was quite expensive, so I would expect a satisfying experience. 2 male employees, the one that had the awful odor, kept leaving the front of the store and going to the back, several times exiting the side door. Both employees though were rather chummy, and followed each other around as they moved from the back to the front and outside, and each time he came back in it was stronger. What made me angry is that he was in contact with everything that the customer touches as it's self serve. I did mention it to the other worker, he remained silent, as if my comment wasn't heard. Me, my wife and daughter have been coming to this Menchie's once or twice a week for over a year. I've gotten to know the owner (Scott) pretty good over that time as I'm a business owner myself. When I first came in I asked for a sample cup and he said which flavor would you like to try? I'll make it for you. (I see this is a common "complaint" people have but I think it's because people don't understand why) It also caught me off guard as my knee jerk reaction was "oh you don't think I'm competent enough to make my own yogurt sample?" But come to find out it's because people often times make huge messes because they don't know how to properly gauge pulling the handle to dispense the yogurt. It overfills and winds up all over the floor. I've been in tons of yogurt shops all over the world and so many of them have nasty / sticky floors from sample cup spills. Scott's is the cleanest one I've ever been in and he always keeps all the toppings full. He's always been nice to me and my family. Just the other night I saw some kids come in and start a bunch of crap with him over him not giving them the sample cups to do themselves. He said he would happily do them for them and they just started getting loud & causing a scene acting like some spoiled punks (my words - not his). He asked them politely to leave because of the way they were acting and they kept on so he called the cops on them. GOOD! I would have too! The kids decided to stay there till the cops got there and then acted like they were the victims. I was in disbelief but this is now the world we live in. I'm an adult so if I want fro yo for dinner, damnit I'm going to have fro yo for dinner! Came in last night around 8 and was very impressed with the layout of this place. It's normally a self serve frozen yogurt place where you swirl it yourself and grab whatever toppings you heart desires. They've adapted to the modern times of our covid world to make this experience safe for everyone. As soon as you walk in, there are signs everywhere saying you can swirl your own frozen yogurt, they just ask that you use hand sanitizer first. And when I say signs everywhere I mean everywhere. You can't miss. A nice man working the register greeted us as soon as we walked in and told us the deal. We grabbed our cups, sanitized our hands and got to work on creating our delicious frozen yogurt dinner. I went with tart, because well, I'm a little weird and I love tart frozen yogurt. They have a bunch of flavors and I'm sure they filter them out throughout the week. So plenty to select from. They even had a German chocolate cake one, too. I got my tart and moved on to the toppings. Here's where I was incredible impressed. It must take the staff a while to prep this. They individually scooped out toppings and placed them in little cups, labeled each area so you knew what the topping was and everything. I can't imagine how long it took to do this so a big thank you to the staff at Menchies for doing this. Your hard work to keep others safe and comfortable doesn't go unappreciated over here. I grabbed gummy bears, chocolate chips and Heath bar. After you grab toppings, they weigh your ice cream at the register. The man working let us know they subtract the weight of the cups for the toppings, which is also so nice but I wasn't super worried. He was super friendly and that was also appreciated! The frozen yogurt here is delicious. It's in the same shopping center as our Target and they have a nice patio to sit on outside if you want to enjoy your frozen treat on a nice summer night. Great quality yogurt with various flavors that range from tart to sweet. The toppings are nicely assembled on the side with some individually packed. Very clean inside and friendly service for quick check out. It stays cold even when I drive it home, assemble and eat it there. They even have a nice outdoor seating area for eating there. I haven't had frozen yogurt in probably a year, but was craving it the other day and remembered I'd seen this frozen yogurt location a few times and decided to stop in. I'm glad I did. They had about 12 flavors of yogurt/sorbet and well over 20 kinds of toppings. There are plenty of little taster cups to try as many flavors as you want to, and there is only 1 size of cup to fill with frozen dessert and toppings, so taste plenty and choose wisely. There are lots of kinds of candy and other tasty things to add to your yogurt, although this location only had 4 kinds of fruit when I was there. Strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, and maraschino cherries (if those count). I get in the sense that fruit goes bad probably 20x faster than Oreos or gummy worms, but it is definitely less than previous frozen yogurt places I've frequented. That said, the price is fair, it cost us about $9 for 2 almost full cups of yogurt and toppings, which I thought was a good price. They also have a rewards system, where all you have to do is enter your phone number to get points (and which pretty much guarantees that I'll be coming back soon for more frozen deliciousness). I enjoyed the mix of pomegranate raspberry and pineapple sorbets topped with vanilla frozen yogurt for creamy-ness and peach rings and strawberry popping boba. I'd recommend the pomegranate raspberry and pineapple swirl if you get a chance to see those 2 flavors in the same machine, it's definitely a tart treat and was great. read more

As of June 1st, masks are no longer required, but staff still ask that everyone use hand sanitizer (provided) before handling the frozen yogurt machines. Toppings will continue to be served prepackaged in serving cups. So you just put the prepackaged cups on the scale next to your froyo at the counter, then add them yourself later. While I respect the health concerns, I hope that they will go back to the buffet-style service since I'd like to have more control over the topping quantity. A lot of the time I don't want as much topping as is in the prepackaged cups so it is a waste. I tried the cold brew coffee and Dole pineapple flavors this time and both were awesome. I think Menchie's is still really pricey for what you get, but it's a nice treat in the summer. read more
