I stopped through the drive-thru on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't overly busy like normal for this location. I had placed a mobile order prior to arriving for a drink and a cake pop so the order was pretty simple. The line would move quickly at some moments and then would pause for several minutes. When I got up to the window and said my name for the mobile order, I was given the incorrect drink initially. I told the barista and they apologized as they re-read the drink label and said they would get it re-made for me. As I was waiting at the window, the same barista came back and tried to give me another incorrect drink with a different name. After about 5-6 minutes later, they gave me my correct drink and I was on my way. This is not the usual situation at that location, so I'm not sure if the barista working the window was new and maybe a little flustered with the drink mix-up, or what exactly happened. Overall, it was corrected, just had to wait a little extra and unfortunately held up the line for a little bit. read more

The is the place to go for old and cold coffee! Stopped in this morning since we were staying nearby. Only one couple a head of us. I hear them say " this coffee is cold". Starbucks employee responds. "I'm so sorry. We'll brew a fresh pot of Pike." 5 minutes later couple is still waiting for their newly fresh hot coffee. Our order still not taken at this point. Finally order dark roast Verona. 5 minutes more go by. Couple finally gets their hot coffee. More time passes and we a poured 1.5 cups because they are at the end of a pot of Verona (old coffee) and now we have to wait for a new pot to brew to top off the second cup! My cup is cold. My husband's warm. Place is dirty and scattered with boxes needing to be stocked. We use Starbucks often. This is a bad representation of the brand. read more

First time at this location since it moved here from its previous location. The first thing that I noticed is how this store looks modernized like locations in New York and surrounding states. The staff are no longer friendly as they were at the previous location. There's quite a new faces as well. While it was easy in and easy out, the staff were very impersonal. I, like those in front of me, was not greeted by a simple "Good Morning. How are you today?" Really Starbucks?!?!?! Everyone working were quite robotic in their actions and no one saying anything to any customer nor themselves. The brunette young lady with the ponytail and eyeglasses appeared to be the shift. She spoke quite sternly to her partner, Richard, who's old enough to be her grandfather. Even if this wasn't the case, each and every person there should be respectful of each other and the customers. There's lots of seating and a long table with space for you to work or meet with others. This Starbucks has a new location and a new attitude--the new attitude could use some improvements. This isn't my go to Starbucks as I don't live or work on this side of town, but with a nearby meeting, I decided to give them a try today. This location is usually pretty good, however.... this week I've had terrible experiences with them. It's started when I ordered my drink (mobile order) as I always do. I get to the store, wait about 5 minutes (because it was busy), and still NO DRINK. After I noticed someone that came in after me got their drink and left, I asked about my mobile order, which they "never received". They immediately made it and gave me a gift card for my trouble. I was happy with that. Well, since then I've gone twice (in one week), ordered the same drink and both times they've gotten it wrong! I took the drink back to the store both times. The first time they were apologetic and made sure I was satisfied. The second time, they couldn't have cared less. The barista made my drink and handed it to me with a chocolate syrup covered top (I ordered a tea) and NO APOLOGY! And don't try calling this location, it goes to a disconnected Verizon Wireless number. I think I'll choose another location from now on. read more

Stopped here for a pick me up before embarking on a trip out west and was pleased with the friendliness of staff, speedy service, and delicious drinks. When we arrived, the drive thru was packed with 7 cars before us so we were anticipating waiting for about 15 minutes. Thankfully we were wrong and were able to move through the line quickly. We ordered an iced white mocha with no whip and an iced hazelnut mocha with no whip which really helped perk us up for the drive. 3.5 stars! This location of one of the most well-known chains is nice! It's very spacious with lots of seating - low top tables and chairs when you enter, and in the area where you order and wait, there are high top tables, and even 2 communal tables. The store is clean, and so is the restroom. They have a Dyson air blade hand dryer in there. I want one! Service was average, not the friendliest, but they did get my order correct. There was some advertised "Molten Chocolate" drink, which excited me, and I find out it's just mocha syrup and chocolate chips. I passed & just got my "sugar-free whatever-flavor-I'm-feelin'-at-the-time" Cold brew with nonfat milk. Happy. This one also has a drive-thru, which is always winning in my book. I ordered a Grande Americano with caramel drizzle and a tall cup of lemon water with a splash of lemonade. They instead gave me the smallest cup they would find and there was no lemon in it. I like that the ordering area is totally separate from the seating and "shopping" area. I went to this Starbucks around 5pm today to do some work and didn't want caffeine late in the day, so I asked for a basic decaf coffee. The first barrista had no idea what I was talking about and fumbled around on the register until asking for help. The second barrista told me they didn't have decaf coffee made and offered me two other decaf options, a pour over or americano. I said whatever was easiest, I just wanted a regular decaf coffee and would take what they had. They then upcharged me, and when I asked why I was being charged more for them not having a basic product ready that they offer, the second barrista brusquely said she would comp my drink and walked away. When she gave me my drink, she had a horrible attitude as though I'd inconvenienced her. I thought my order was pretty simple. I appreciate the comp, but there's no reason to get mad at me. Good coffee but very strong. Great iced teas. My favorite is a venti sized green tea lemonade with just two pumps of sugar cane. Love all their seasonal teas and coffees like pumpkin spice latte. Not to mention crazy drinks like the zombie frappacino and unicorn Frap.. Never tried then but they sell out within a week of getting them in. They have great pastries especially the cheese pastry, the chocolate and lemon loaves, the cake pops are amazing and so are the brownies. They can even warm them up. Yummy. The only down side is all the teas and coffeesare highly addictive and it costs way time much but its hard to stop going there. read more

Every time I go I think, "They have to be better this time", but sadly they aren't. It's a bummer. I try about once a week. Either they get my order wrong or they take forever. My visit this Thursday had us waiting over 15 minutes even with no one else in the drive-thru. They scan my app and then shut the window. After confirming and reconfirming at the speaker I wanted my drink hot, she passes me an iced drink. When I say, "oh, this was supposed to be hot", all I got was, "Ugh" and a window closed in my face. As I wait, cars are now waiting behind me and I feel like I've caused a line. With no movement behind the window I honk the horn and say that I'll just take what's already made as long as it's my drink just iced with soy milk. "Good" she say and I leave. No apology no nothing. It wasn't soy milk, it wasn't even my drink. They didn't answer when I tried to call the store. Today... Today I tried again. It was a fluke I tell myself. Nope. Same order. This time, I got an iced drink with extra ice and the matcha was caked in the bottom of the cup. Um, do you not stir anything? Mouthful of matcha isn't appealing to me. Again, they didn't answer the phone. Long stories long... This Starbucks needs to get it together. No one in their right mind will pay 5 times for coffee when the service is garbage and they can get a 1 buck coffee from the gas station down the road. read more

This Starbucks is awesome! I always get a black iced coffee, which isn't hard to make, so I don't have a lot to say about the coffee that they offer. The main benefit of this Starbucks is that it has a drive thru! It has replaced the location that was closer to VCC, which did not have a drive thru. The location is prime, as it's very close to the interstate 295 exit. Service is always fast and this location is busy daily. read more

Came in late, just before 9:30 on a Saturday night, for a quick Light Frapp fix. (Close at 10pm) There were a couple customers chatting outside and a couple inside, but the place looked ready for closing time. The 2 baristas were still cheerful and pleasant when greeting is, taking our order and whipping up our treats. I'd definitely stop back by if I'm in the area. it's just a Starbucks, but they seemed to get everything right ... my chai was good and my breakfast sandwich both days there ... they have a decent sized seating area away from the service counter that proved great for sitting and working ... there were always others there, but never packed ... this is a nice one to use as a traveler's office or homework study space parking was plentiful in front and there are other places nearby for lunch or dinner ... there is a drive thru though I didn't use it ... the place was clean and the staff friendly read more

This is by far the best Starbucks around. The location is great, the seating area is clean and comfortable, and the staff is awesome. The last time I visited I had a rather large order and realized when I got up to the the window that I had mixed up two of the orders. I half expected a grunt or an eye roll from the barista at the window (as I would have gotten from most any fast food restaurant), but Amanda didn't hesitate. She was friendly and understanding and had my entire order for me in less than a minute after I paid. read more

This location is SERIOUSLY UNDERSTAFFED. The drinks are always right, but the drive-thru takes forever. And if you think going inside will speed up the process, you're also wrong. I know it's a newer location, but they should have staffing figured out by now. Their only saving grace are staff members like "V" and Diana that are always so energetic and friendly in the drive-thru. They very often make up for the slow service. read more

I usually love this Starbucks !!! Most everyone in there is exceptional!! Except for the cashier Richard, honestly he is the reason I only do the drive through for he is so incredibly rude. I understand him being hard of hearing due to his age but it is no reason to get snippy with customers when I have to essentially yell my order four times for him to understand, he never remembers to ask for your name and makes a huge fuss if you want your receipt. When I asked for my receipt he asked me why I needed it, I told him it was to give feedback to the manager he then got angry and mumbled a certain cuss word under his breath to which he just walked away and the manager came and apologized for his attitude and she knew he was a problem. Please don't ruin this store by allowing him to turn all your customers away he needs to be retrained or let go that man should not be in a customer service industry if he can't keep from cussing in front of the customers !!! read more

Every time I go to this location, which is now at 1091 Virginia Center Pkwy, they argue with me about my drink order. I order a coffee frapp afagato and they tell me to buy an espresso frap. ITS NOT THE SAME THING!!! Afagato is poured on top and the other is mixed in during the blending process. It sounds petty but when they blend it in they over measure and I lose half my drink leftover in the blender. That's why afagato was put on the menu to begin with. If it's on the menu then why even argue with me. It's rude and obnoxious. I have had enough of this location. Just take my order and shut up or be friendly. Either way it's NOT your job to argue with any customer. read more
