Visited the drive-thru on 04/10/2026 at 6:20am(approx.) Total was $4.81, paid with cash - $20 dollar bill, young lady at drive thru gave me $15.10 in change and said she did not have any pennies. So, a total of $4.81 was rounded up 9-cents to $4.90 instead of rounding down 1-cent to $4.80. I really don't care about the 9-cents I was overcharged but here are few questions: Why are you hiring people for these positions that cannot do basic math either in their head or with a computer/register? Why are they rounding up 9-cents instead of rounding down 1-cent?, it is not me that is out of pennies, and I believe I am still the customer, although not feeling like it. And maybe the most pointed question, if you as a company are adopting this no penny policy, why have you not put in place software updates to automatically adjust for the rounding, since your employee(s) are not able to accomplish this feat? read more

This is by far the best Starbucks in Fort Wayne. They make the best drinks compared to other stores. They are always SO busy it's insane and the workers are always friendly. Other customers are SO rude when they are waiting and people have no patience. No matter how mean or condescending some of the patrons are, the employees just apologize for the wait. This starbucks is always busy but Cynthia is the best starbucks employee i've ever seen. In the middle of the huge 8am morning rush, she's working extremely fast and always greeting every single person that comes in. Shes extremely helpful if you're waiting for an order and i've often seen her lifting others up and telling everyone how good of a job they're doing during the rush. Not normally the kind of review I like to write, but at the same time this one wrote itself. Visited on a Friday afternoon for an afternoon Java boost. The drive thru line was long, but I figured it would go quickly, seeing it was located on a major road and those locations usually have their stuff together. I was wrong. I was REALLY wrong. It took use 30 minutes Just To Get to the speaker to order. THIRTY minutes. In those 30 minutes there were 3 other cars that pulled off. In those 30 minutes I heard NINE different songs on the radio. In those 30 minutes my wife made 3 phone calls. Then another 7 minutes to go from placing my order to getting it at the window. 37 minutes to get a freaking coffee. At least my order was correct. Even though this location is close to my destination, I'm going to wager there's a location somewhere around here that doesn't make me feel significantly older by the time I get my order. Stopped at this location in the middle of the day while traveling through the area and upon arrival, there were only two cars ahead of us. We waited in the drive for 15 minutes. When we reached the window, neither drink was ready (a frap and a cold brew directly off of the menu, nothing special or complex). Upon arriving at the window, all of the staff members had backs to the window and were chatting and laughing. It took 5 more minutes for them to begin on our frap. Starbucks is Starbucks so no need to comment on the drinks. The store here has a moderate amount of seating. One good sized table for a group of 6-8. Several round tables for smaller groups. There is only a couple padded chairs if you just want to sit and relax. The outdoor area is okay. The store is usually clean. The personnel here always seem friendly and professional. Their parking lot is difficult to get in and out of. The drive thru in the mornings is absolutely CRAZY!!! read more

Stopped by the drive-thru today at about 1pm. They were very busy as per usual and as expected. Not a problem, I had time to wait. I ordered a grande green tea latte and a caramel macchiato. The management needs to install cones at auburn road entrance to force people to go around the building for drive through. Almost got rear ended because people back up into auburn road getting into drive through lane. It is unsafe and it is Starbucks managements responsibility to correct this known situation. read more

I'm here every Saturday morning for a study group and the baristas are so nice to us! I also think they make really, really good lattes and mochas and they're really great about working with my weird diet (health issues) and helping me avoid super sugary drinks. They always play great music in the background which can be really fun. Since we go there so regularly they even set up a table for us every morning.
