The poor management saga continues. Twice this week no one answered the drive through. Three times in the last weeks i encountered managers/drive thru window attendants that never said, thank you, please, your welcome or could even crack a smile. Your employees act like I am an inconvenience for ordering a Diet Coke at 5:45am. Two weeks ago one manager was nice enough to tell me that they didn't open until 6am on that day. I suggested putting up a sign on the drive thru would be nice versus making me irate while I waited and waited. She told me corporate doesn't allow them to put up signs. Most fast food restaurants get a bad deal on Yelp and other platforms! They do not exist for fine dining but for quick snack while on the road or a coffee to keep the driver awake. This drive thru is worthless. Seriously. We hit the drive-thru around 9:30 pm to get an iced tea. ONE item. ONE item that required absolutely no preparation. No grill, produce, dairy, condiments...nothing. Simply put ice in a cup, fill it with tea, put a lid on it and hand it out the window. What we encountered, though, was a drive-thru line with (between the 2 different lanes) over 10 cars waiting for food that was moving slower than intercontinental drift. So slow, in fact, that as we waited in line after ordering I saw no fewer than 3 other cars pull in, size things up, and decided to leave. One of those had already ordered and still pulled away. After sitting absolutely still and not moving for the better part of ten minutes we decided to leave. There's no sense in waiting for something that's not going to happen before I retire, so we pulled away as well. read more

terrible service. no napkins every time at this location. waited 30 minutes for them to remake my double cheeseburger order (one singular double cheeseburger) a $3 order after they gave it to the wrong car. The "remade" sandwich was cold when they handed it to me 30 minutes later. Manager wouldn't refund me or remake it. Terrible experience. I ordered 10pc nugget, med fry and 2 sprites. I get home and they have a 10pc nugget box with chicken tenders inside. I called the store and spoke with SAVANNAH who essentially made me prove that I had ordered the food because according to their system no one had ordered that meal at that time. Regardless, I was given the wrong food. I used a code in the app so my order showed up there with the exact time and date of the order. I told her I was coming to the store to get the correct food and asked for her name. She hung up in my face. I called right back and they would not answer. Terrible experience. This McDonald's irritates me. It starts with their parking lot. It's the worst due to the drive they location and parking spots. The. It's due to how busy this place always seems to be. Fast food, pfft...try 30' for a coffee in the drive thru in the am. Staff seems stressed and it's a little to more than a little dingy in the dinning room. My lil one likes the play area but that is also iffy with cleanliness. Plus it's loud in there and the acoustics carry high pitched kid voices very well. Food: it's hit or miss as with any place you eat at. Fires are often cold so I always ask for fresh and no salt so I'm guaranteed to get just cooked hot fries. Special requests on burgers seem to be good here but they are out of ice cream a lot. This one is close to my home but I try to avoid it due the cons. read more

I placed a mobile order tonight for two simple sandwiches, fries and a root beer. After giving my code, pulling up to the pay window and being told to pull up to the pick up window, we sat there for 9 minutes. Never once being greeted. An employee with long multicolored braids passed the window at least three times and knew my truck was sitting out there. Never once greeted me. The other girl with blondish hair also saw my truck and never greeted us. More time passed and no one opened the window. FINALLY the manager came to the window and after I knocked on it, he opened the window and said.. "are you waiting on something" I said "yes, we have been here for 9 minutes waiting on a mobile order and no one has greeted us". Before I even finished my sentence, he closed the window and walked off. At least another 5 minutes passed with the two employees walking by the window several times. The manager never once came back to the window. No one bothered to apologize or explain anything to me. Finally the girl with the long braids opened the window, shoved my root beer out, then the bag of food, NEVER once greeting me or apologizing. She never said a word to me. After all that time, my fries were even cold. Fast food has gotten ridiculously expensive these days. Not only are we now paying stupid prices for low quality food, we have to also put up with unacceptable service. How can you really even expect much from this team when they have such a horrendous manager leading them and setting this type of example. This Mcdonald's location is the worst one I been to. I been to many Mcdonald's and this one is a horror story. Lets see rude, cold food, dirty inside and to lazy to put the breakfast menu up outside through drive during breakfast hours. Didn't know what I wanted had to order breakfast and only had the lunch menu to go by. Love ordering food and having no menu to look at. I was told they haven't got around to switching the signs out to the breakfast menu. 3 hours into breakfast when will you get the time to put the menu out? huh? huh? you got the time? I would think that would be the first thing they would have done when serving breakfast. Well other Mcdonald's do it this way, I'm not sure who's running this hole in the wall? A real jerk is all I do know. Get really old and cold food or the all new freshly cooked quarter pounder with cheese (RAW IN THE MIDDLE) every time. I generally don't review McDonald's. Normally, it is what it is. It's not fine dining but it is fast and cheap. Not on Dupont. I don't know what the holdup is but every step of the process is slow. They have the dual order lanes and they just sit backed up to the street. Even processing a credit card takes longer than it should. The line may finally be clear ahead and you can still sit for up to 90 seconds just waiting on that CVS-style receipt that goes right in the trash. read more

If I could give them no stars I would. I went through the drive through today and sat in lane one for 15 minutes while they took orders only from lane 2. I then went inside and placed my order and asked to speak with a manager. I told her in a professional manner that I had been waiting for 15 minutes in drive while easily 15/20 people were helped in lane 2. I was met with no apology. I thought maybe there was a technical glitch or something, surely there is an explanation. She literally just looked at me, heard what I had to say and walked away. Never left McDonald's a review, but here we go. We ordered through the app, then as soon as we go to check in the app won't load. That's ok, we can just go in and they'll help us out. The lady at the cash register goes to talk to her manager as she doesn't know, also fair. Her manager tells her to tell us to "try it again." We obviously have multiple times or we wouldn't be in here. Finally the manager screams for Cindy and comes out. I show her what's happening, she says she wants to see the app, fair we go out to the car and show her my wife's phone. Says the same thing my screenshot says, so we follow her back in where she tells us that now breakfast is over (as it's 11: 10, and are 15 minutes into this ordeal) so they will not be making our breakfast, but they will refund us, and we can order lunch. She brings up the refund on her register, it somehow comes out less than the app was even though we were getting APP only discounts. She says that shouldn't be possible... well, it happened haha if you're going to push the app make it work, and at least try to fix it when it doesn't. read more

After a very busy morning I stopped in to get a few things to eat before going back to bed. I figured I'd go in instead of drive through to insure I had a correct order since my experience with Rally's yesterday was a disaster. I ordered 4 sausage biscuits, 2 with cheese. (simple enough) Got home, in the rain, undressed and prepared to share my order with my partner who is blind.His was the ones with cheese. To my disbelief their was a cheese sausage biscuit missing. I had had enough. I tried calling the number on the receipt but it appeared to be a fax number as indicated by the tone sound. Verified the number on Tripadvisor and it matched. I got dressed, drove back to the McDonalds on Dupont and spoke to a Mgr who simply said, "Sorry" and got my missing food for me. No attempt to compensate me for my time or trouble or to address the "mystery" phone number. Will not go back, ever!! read more

If I could give zero stars I would!!! I have NEVER commented poorly about a restaurant, until this evening. We ordered at the drive thru around 9:50 pm and waiting a total of 20 minutes to receive our food. I even walked into the establishment to find out what was going on. When I entered, an employee was eating fries and a McFlurry behind the counter, and didn't even turn around to see me. Another employee asked if I needed something and said, "yes, my food." I asked to speak to a manager and Anthony (Tony) came to the counter. When I explained how I had pictures of his employees eating behind the counter, on their phone, and ignoring customers at the drive thru window, he said "sorry" and then as he was walking away from me he proceeded to "flip me off" which my children witnessed in the drive thru. When I walked back in, another manager, Miranda, said that she was sorry about Tony's behavior and she would talk to him. Disgusting location! Whoever owns this establishment should be ashamed of the lack of care their employees have towards customers and their jobs. read more

Almost every time I go there it is with my grand kids. I feed them and then let them play. They almost always get my order wrong. Happy meals all around and they mess up things like the number and types of sauces for the chicken. It wouldnt be so bad if they had not asked what sauces and how many when I place my order. The size and number of fries are messed up too. I ask for Gogert and get apple slices. Come on people. It is written on the monitor screen for you. I take the kids in to play in the play zone and its so stinking hot in there that the kids are soaking wet when they are done. I complain to the a counter person and ask to see the manager. They give me a phone number for a store in Auburn. What good does that do? Over all the place sucked. I hope that the remodel improves things. We will see. If not for my grand kids, I would never go to a McDonald's. The one on Washington Center road is only a little better. The play center in there is cold. Is there a thermostat some where that could balance things out? Its not rocket science. Are there any real managers with any kind of authority there. Orders take so long also. The problem there is that there are too many items on the menu. Their food prep and handling system sucks. Wendys has it going on. I spend no more than three minutes in a Wendys food line. I really had hoped that with the updates etc, things would change, but, it's gotton worse......if there is such a thing. It is slow, at 6:30 am the outside lights are not on. They can't get an order right, it's cold on the play ground, this am on the way to school, my granddaughter ordered a speciality coffee, she said it tasted terrible, I watched the guy make it, I knew he didn't know what he was doing. I know good help is hard to find, however, because of new set up, they have less people working there, and they are so understaffed. The new machine for ordering is not working for you.
