This location is conveniently located on the service road exiting wichita. There is a 'back' entrance to the store through wichita and thru the quick trip but the drive thru is best enter through from the service road. I go in the morning through the drive thru and it goes by quickly. There are a couple of times i go into the lobby and it can take a bit to get your drinks. The inside is clean and well organize. They have lots of whole coffee for sale and many tumblers available for sale. They have plenty of gift cards for sale along with hot breakfast items. I really like the oatmeal and the grill cheese sandwich. You can use the app to earn stars and you can redeem them for drinks, food and even merchandise. This store needs to retrain some of their baristas because there have a couple of times my drinks have been made wrong. They cut corners and as a results the drinks are not up to standard. I understand they are busy but they need to slow down, I would rather wait a little extra longer and get my drink correct then get my drink in 2 minutes made wrong. read more

Went there today and was confused about a coupon for a drink! It was my mistake but the manager went above and beyond anyways!

I stopped at this location & there was 1 person in the store. Both servers were wearing headsets so neither acknowledged or said hello. When one of the servers came to take my donor order, she couldn't muster a hello! I ordered a glazed donut but it couldn't be heated up because it would "damage the oven". The donut should have been labeled a hockey puck. If they can manage to put down a paper to warm up the pre-packaged sandwiches, I'm pretty sure you could use that same technique to warm up a donut. If I'm being honest they were always nice to us and chill there was no rudeness to us and if they got it wrong they would always apologize and do it over I don't usually come here for the drinks mostly the popcakes but all I can say is there the local cafe to actually be super friendly with the orders and I do drive thru so it's Mostly chill when I come. read more

Orders are slow. Since Starbucks no longer has sugar out to save money, you have to ask every time. Of course you have to wait until you can get someone's attention, then when you get someone, they are reluctant to give you any. They give you 2 packets, when you want more, they act like your crazy. Then you have to ask separately to get something to stir your coffee. It's no longer worth the effort and will go somewhere else for my hot drinks. read more

Wow. I've never been into a more unwelcoming Starbucks environment. The staff was obviously frustrated, slamming things, loud sighs, saying things like "OH MY GOD, it's never ending!" We were the only ones standing at the register with no one greeting us, all staff was busy which is fine but normally Starbucks staff are friendly and will acknowledge you. Store is pretty clean. They need some attention in the restrooms. They staff is working together as a team getting people through. I ordered the French Toast Mini bagel and the a Trenta Strawberry Refresher lite ice. The French Toast Bagel mini bite was that thing I was missing this morning. What great service. I am visiting from California. Here in TX for work. Stop by this Starbucks for a coffee. I wanted a decaf pour over. Starbucks in CA gives me a hard time when I order this drink. It's harder for them to make it and mostly it takes them more time. This morning a young lady by the name of Rena helped me with my order. Told her what I wanted. She asked if I wanted an Americano. This is close to the drink I have and much faster for them to make it. I told her I would much rather prefer a pour over. She said let me go to the back and see if we have any decaf beans. I told her I'll take an Americano if it's easier. She said no. I want u to have what u want. She then brought two new packs and showed me and asked what flavor I would like. I picked one. As mentioned before the pour over take more time. So I patiently sat in a corner waiting for my drink. She made the drink as quick as she could. Absolutely ridiculous wait time. I pull up at 1:10 and drive off at 1:30 without any coffee. I sat at the window for 10 min and no one ever came. This is the loudest starbucks I have ever been to. The staff loves their job. You can tell by the way they constantly yell back and forth to each other to keep up conversation. I don't remember the old location ever being this loud. Maybe it's the acoustics of the building but I doubt it because I can't hear the guest behind me chattering away. All I can hear is the staff slamming stuff around and laughing as loud as they possibly can. Yelling "ICE COFFEE!!" "OH YOU NEED AN ICE COFFEE?" "ICE COFFEE!!!!!!!!!" This location is kind of weird. It's right off the interstate so it's good for weary I-20 travelers but it's really small. Like I said mainly for travelers stopping for a caffeine boost.There are probably only small tables inside so if you are planning on studying or meeting up for a confab this isn't the place for that. If you want to get your coffee or treat to go then by all means stop. The staff is very friendly though. I prefer to just drive thru because the parking lot is not user friendly either. Peter #FAIL. I walked in to get a cup of coffee. They were out of my brew at 10:25 AM. I asked for a pour over. Peter told me it would take 4 minutes. His average time per order with each customer is literally 2-5 minutes. Ho got my coffee to me 23 minutes later. My breakfast wrap was lukewarm, making it less than desirable. Peter voluntarily gave me a $4 gift card due to the length if time it took for him to make my cup of coffee. My best friend and I have this location as our go to catchup spot. Ever since high school we've come to this one to have good coffee and chat for hours. This location makes the best caramel frappacinos which they are particularly known for among their regulars. They put extra amounts of caramel into your order and are very quick. They have a drive thru if you're in a hurry. The seating inside has two leather chairs, 3 high tables with 3 seats each and 3 regular tables. It's not the biggest Starbucks but I haven't had issues finding a table to sit at. They do get lots of foot traffic but for the most part the people don't stick around. There's also two tables outside. This particular time my BFF brought her toddler daughter who accidentally spilled her hot chocolate and the staff quickly helped clean the mess and made her a new drink free of charger. Overall I love this location and you must have the caramel frappacino. read more

Not if I can help it! I have gone here about 6 times. Unfortunately it is on the way to a job. I gave them two stars because the people are pretty nice at the drive through. One the bad side: if this was the first original starbucks, they would not have stayed in business! I got the wrong item once (not what I paid for). Next time I went I took it back and they made it good with another one. That was nice. The food really sucks and is pretty expensive. I went through a few months ago and got their egg sandwich. When I got to the job, it had NO egg on it. REALLY? I decided to order one of their lunch sandwiches two months ago. It was HORRIBLE. Made me sick. Best to go and get something that is better and cheaper at the QuikTrip next door. I am never going there again. Just not worth it. Regardless of how nice the folks are. read more

The staff was fast, friendly, courteous and *accurate* in delivering my order - thumbs up! Better yet, the baristas weren't just machines churning out orders, even though it was busy. They were personable and paid attention, laughed; you could tell that, even though it was Black Friday and they were 'stuck at work,' they were happy and upbeat. A great start to the day.
