Went here on a weekend at 6:15 am, hot donut sign was on. I asked for glazed donuts, employee said they won't be ready for an hour. I left and came back at 7:20. Employee said glazed donuts won't be ready for another 45 min. In WHAT WORLD do you not have GLAZED DONUTS for at least 2 hours after opening? Also with your hot donut sign on the whole time. Today is my daughter's birthday. I decided to take her to Krispy Kreme in Arlington because they have a large variety of donuts. When the lady approached she was nice. I order a couple of donuts and donut holes with sprinkles. She asked if I wanted 10 or 24 sprinkles. I kinda looked at her because I wasn't sure what she was asking since I have only been to this place 1 time. she was extremely rude when asking again and made a sigh and remark to herself. I even apologized for not understanding her. Never again will I try to take my daughter to enjoy something new at this place. Krispy Kreme is always a treat and is probably my most favorite donut, at least for glazed donuts. The nearest store is this one -- and it's about a 10-15 minute drive, which isn't bad but is still far for me to make regular drives to it. I wanted to treat the team at work so I decided to order a dozen of donuts and iced coffee through the mobile order. I was able to go through the drive-thru and get my order very quickly! The funny thing is - I ordered an iced coffee with milk, which I got properly... but they also gave me a milk which I thought was a cute little mistake. As always, the donuts were very good. I just love how the glazed donuts are so airy and so sweet and that glaze is just perfect. Cannot compare to any other style of donuts in town... Haven't been here in years. I was pleasantly surprised at how great it was. It was Donut Day so there were busy but we were served quickly. I got the 4 free doughnuts but purchased others to make a dozen. The kids raved over the strawberry glazed and the cookies and cream filled one. No inside seating still, but doesn't bother me at all. I went to get a dozen of the delicious, warm donuts at Krispy Kreme in Arlington and instead I got terrible customer service, cold donuts and lies. When I asked the young lady behind the counter for the "regular looking donut with cream throughout" she said "we do not sell those, all we have is a what you see." 1. Lie, I have gotten them every time I go to Krispy Kreme for the last few years. 2. The display counter was more than half empty at 3pm on a Saturday. 3. No smile, no customer service qualities at all. The customer that was helped before us was kinder and friendlier than this young lady. 4. The donuts we did purchase were cold. We went in around 3 and this particular location closes at 8, this should not have been the case. I will not be going to that location again. Krispy Kreme Doughnuts are to die for that expression is a little extreme. But they are very good. I think they have the best glazed doughnut by far. I love them best warm right off the conveyor belt. If you cannot eat them that way they are not as good. The sugar glaze on them is wonderful. I can eat 3 of them with no problem. I could eat more but I will not or should not. They do have other doughnuts but I only eat the regular glazed. There is the only store in my area of Arlington. I wish there were more locations. I hate having to drive so far. So that limits me from eating Krispy Kreme all the time. I guess that is a good thing. This location is easy to get in plenty of parking and they have a drive thru. I find that most people are generally familiar with the fried, melt-in-your-mouth, sugar bomb that a Krispy Kreme donut is, but I wanted to focus my review on the service I received this morning :) I was greeted by smiles and offered a sample RIGHT off the conveyor belt (something that I know was done in the past but I hadn't experienced in other locations across the metroplex the past couple of times). As the guests in front of me were taking a bit of time to decide what they wanted to order, the associate went ahead and took my order and rang me up using the drive-thru register! I really appreciated the courtiousness and how she went the extra mile to serve me quicker! The easter-themed donuts were irresistibly cute and are definitely well paired with coffee or milk to help with the sweetness! My favorite part was that they offered a 24 count donut hole filled easter-egg-hunting-pail! Too cute and less than $5, including tax. Be prepared to deal with teenagers with attitudes that obviously don't want to be at work, ie: eye rolling, huffing and puffing and the silent treatment upon your arrival. I haven't been inside of a KK in a long time but I had a online order of 3 donuts and just decided to pop in and grab it. This is the only location nearby so I guess I won't be coming back. So after a quick glance of the display case, I see something new (at least to me): Little mini Krispy Kreme doughnuts. They are so cute (see picture). They price out at about 20 for the same as a dozen of the bigger regular version, so we get 20. All I can say is they taste the same and now I don't feel so bad when I inhale three doughnuts, because they were MINI doughnuts. What many don't know is that the service provided and follow through on large orders varies greatly across the chain. This location makes the grade each and every time I've requested it. On large orders I have never had an opportunity where when I walked in they didn't have it ready and waiting for me to go. They accommodate me through the drive-through which is especially important to me as I currently am healing for me broken foot. Additionally the staff are always grateful for the business, greeting customers in a friendly way, and accurate. I recently moved to Texas from CT so I have never experienced Krispy Kreme before. I do have to say the donuts are really good! I don't know if they make them at this location, but they all taste fresh and delicious. The main problem here is the staff. I have been here twice and both times they have gotten our order wrong after repeating it numerous times. I am not sure if they are not writing it down or whats going on. Both times I have gotten to the second window after repeating the order at the first window and the person being like, wait, what did you order? And then ultimately still giving us either the wrong donuts or random coffee drinks we didn't order. The people are nice, just really confused. Despite this I will probably be back because this is the closest location to our apartment. For some reason Arlington seems to be really lacking on donut shops. read more

Overrated, in my opinion. Took me 2 years to come back after I first tried it. A lot of my friends rave about Krispy Kreme so when I finally went, I got spams of messages asking me how it was and I could literally feel the twinkle in their eyes, so I told a small white lie that they were amazing (sorry guys, if you're reading this lolol). Two years later, and I still feel the same way. These donuts are waaaayyyyyyy too sugary for my taste, and I love my sweets. I don't know. I've had gourmet looking donuts that weren't try-hards with overbearing sweetness. I can never finish one KK donut and I order a fairly large quantity with variety so that I can taste a bit of everything for a fair opinion on them, and I've concluded that I only like their regular glaze, powdered chocolate, and their chocolate with custard because those are the only three toned down pastries. Their coffee is decent and the frozen dulce de leche is almost good. This drink is sweet also, which doesn't help paired with the KK donuts. I also had an elderly curmudgeon for service behind the counter grabbing my donut picks and ringing me up, so that wasn't very nice to start off my morning. I wish one of the other younger girls took my order. They seemed happier. All in all, Krispy Kreme is really nice for photos, but I personally don't think they're worth the hype and I am likely to not return. read more

I lived down the street from here my first two years of college. In 2006 (and probably annually), they had this New Year's coupon where if you buy a dozen, you get a dozen glazed for free. Needless to say, it didn't take long for me to not just tire of Krispy Kreme, but start a deep-seated hatred of their donuts. I think it took three coupons. Recently, I went there again after a two-year hiatus. I was excited to see the glowing fluorescent "HOT" sign. The service was good (always is), my donuts were hot (as promised), and I was able to quickly get in and out. But! There was no flavor other than a sensory overload of sweetness. I'm pretty sure it dissolved in my mouth, not unlike the way cotton candy does. I mean, yeah I've heard people say these "melt in your mouth," but this was just too unpleasant. It could've put me into a diabetic coma. My companion and I turned to each other, made a face, and silently agreed to never frequent this place again. So long, Krispy Kreme. Yes, they are, so we went to Krispy Kreme. Krispy Kreme holds a place in my heart. It was part of my child hood. I remember driving 40 minutes away with my Grandpa just for donuts. We would watch the donuts on the conveyer belt get slathered with glazed goodness. I haven't had Krispy Kreme in YEARS so I was excited in a way. I don't eat a lot of sweets anymore because I try to be good and eat healthy. I usually just sit there and let them eat until their heart's content. Okay, so I may have a bite..or three. I never knew how many donuts my kids could put down until today. Usually their special thing to do with dad without mom is to go eat Donuts. Anyway, I'm rambling. When we arrive the red light isn't on, but that's okay. I said I wasn't going to get anything until I seen. CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE DOUGH special donut of the month. Chocolate chip cookie dough is my weakness and my most favorite bad thing to eat.
