Pucker up...the lemon kolache today was pure perfection. The buttery taste of the bread, the sweet yet tart lemon filing, and the little sweetness on top made for a happy breakfast experience. I was finally able to score a ham and cheese kolache and it did not disappoint. My family fought over who got the last one and decided to split it 4 ways. I always love the jalapeño sausage and cheese. The owner is so sweet and you can tell she gets joy from making these amazing treats. This place is bomb, surprised with not many reviews, I have traveled all over the world, and to find a traditional Kolache place like this blew my mind that we have it right here in Arlington TX! We ordered the bacon cheese rolls, the bacon was crispy with all that chedder cheese it is super yummy! The cheese and aplricot kolache is very fresh and packed with flavors aspecially with a whole appricot in there not just gam! The cream cheese Kolache was to die for, sweet but melts in your mouth! This isn't west.I went there this morning to see if it was worth the hype.Sorry but it didn't live up to the hype.Don't get me wrong it's not bad but it definitely isn't better then the ones in west as a few people claimed in the reviews.We got a little bit of everything including their melt away which I thought was just ok.As far as the fruit ones they were decent but a little skimpy on the fruit.The sausage one was good but no comparison to west.Overall I would say this place is good but not great.Once you've had the ones in west they are hard to beat. read more

Last week we had kolaches and sausage cheese roll and all was excellent . If it's your first visit they give you a free kolache.

This was my second time in. I couldn't recall my first visit so I wasn't sure what to expect but I liked everything I got. I tried two fruit kolaches-Bavarian cream and apple. I would recommend both! The Bavarian cream was a nice change of pace and the cinnamon sprinkled on the apple was a nice touch. I also tried a giant cinnamon roll. It was fine but I feel like it was missing something to make it special and drool worthy. Maybe an extra frosted creamy warm center would have made it *chefs kiss*. I will definitely be back for a carb load. read more

I've known about this little gem for years now and they have the best kolache in town especially Bavarian Cream ! They are soft , sweet and delicious! There are plenty of flavors available and they also have sausage kolache as well . I picked up some this morning and I ate everything before taking pictures hence the one outside picture ! The owners are super sweet and helpful and the food was good. The fruit kolaches were ok but the fillings felt artificially flavored. However the dough on all their pastries is amazing.We got the mesquite jalapeño with cheese and that was really good, the bacon and cheese pastry is also quite tasty. The cinnamon roll was also really good and light, not overly sweet. Their danish melt away however was too sweet and had a weird aftertaste( mine was undercooked). With all that being said, I recommend their savory pastries and their Texas sized cinnamon rolls. read more

So day 2 of my low carb intake begins kinda rocky... I've eaten my fair share of Kolaches but for the most part they all kind of just blend in together. I don't know if it's all the banners and signs on the menu that really stresses the fact that they make everything from scratch each morning, with no preservatives and 2/3 less sugar than donuts, but MAN! They really stood out from the other kolaches I've had. It started off with I wanted to try just one and get a cup of coffee to go, but after looking at the amazing selection, I decided to drop the coffee and instead buy 3 more delicious, pillowy, light and fluffy, perfectly sweet little nuggets of kolaches. Strawberry cream cheese- my favorite of the 4. Cherry- Fruity and not overly sweet. I would also recommend the rodeo sausage over the mesquite but both were buttery and light. read more
