The service was good & efficient. It was a little busy when I went, but I didn't wait that long for my drink. There was a couple of tables & variety of pastries in the display. I didn't try any since I was only there to try for the matcha. If I am in the area again I will definitely try some. The mango sticky rice matcha was so good. It tasted exactly like mango sticky rice, but it does overpowers the matcha. The drink was also pricey; it was $9.50 plus tax with oat milk.
I have been wanting to try this bakery and luckily i didn't have to stand in the line to try. The baked goods were so light and fluffy and fresh. The cafe was delicious and they offer numerous types as well as various pastries including a Fresa con crema which we got of course
Finally got to try this viral spot. We arrived at 8:30am and waited about 45min in line, so be prepared if you plan to go! We tried the Pan Pan latte, matcha latte and a sweet roll. The matcha was solid, above average in the DFW area. The roll was really good, super creamy and subtly sweet. The long wait makes me hesitant, but their stuff is very good!
Decorated very well. Barista was super nice and very helpful. Their Marranitos (Mexican Piggy Cookies) are probably some of the best within the whole DFW area.
We woke up bright and early to drive an hour here and it was worth it. The area was kind of hidden and small but the interior was pretty cute. We got 2 drinks: Arroz con Leche Matcha and Cupid's Matcha (Valentine's special). We got regular size for both of the drinks and it was about $9+ each which was really expensive in my opinion, but it was an 16oz cup so I guess. The arroz con leche matcha has cinnamon and Mexican rice pudding in it, it was good but I didn't taste much matcha from it, I think the cinnamon overpowered it. The Cupid's matcha however was really good, it wasn't too sweet and it paired so well with the drink. I would love to try the double matcha or banana cream matcha next time. We also got some pastry: Matcha Concha, Ham & Cheese bread, and Salt Bread. The salt bread was so light, airy, and buttery, it was not dry at all. The ham & cheese bread was also really good, it was a big bread and it had ham inside. The matcha concha was okay, not sweet but it just tasted like bread to me. I think if you could bring them home and reheat them they would all taste so much better! I didn't know they have Birria Salt Bread and I'm so sad I missed out since I came too early :(( We went on a Friday morning right when they opened but it was pretty packed already, thankfully there was no long line (yet). Overall it was pretty nice trying out this viral place and they deserve it :)
I found this coffee shop on TikTok and went to try it immediately. It was very good, especially if you enjoy sweeter matcha. I love how they had so many unique flavors, I almost wanted to order two drinks for myself! The wait time was pretty long which I'm fine with but since the shop was pretty small it was a bit cramped with not that many options for seating. I'd recommend take out over dining inside.

There was a short line already outside, we waited about 30 minutes before we were inside and got to order. Limited seatings indoor. I love all the record and wall art, even down to their boxes it's so cute. Their pastries are my favorite, nothing was too sweet. The double matcha was not strong in matcha flavor as I would like, more milk it seemed like. But the mango sticky rice was delicious.
The first time I attempted to visit this spot a few months back, the line wrapped around the building on a hot day so I decided to wait. This little amazing spot deserves all the hype. Oh my goodness what a delightful experience. The conchas are just so tasty my mouth starts watering again. My fresas con crema matcha was delicious, I cannot wait to go back again. Excellent quality, delicious treats, what else can you ask for?
Wed 1pm arrival and there was already a line wrapped the outside of the building. They are so nice, they provided umbrellas to protect against the sun, and water dispenser with cups! Die hard pastry lovers, we waited on the line for 25 min + until we got to the cashier where we ordered hot chai with oat milk, Oreo concha, ham and cheese, pan de Muerto... and a few other buns (we ate them too quickly I can't remember!) There are a few small tables in this cafe/bakery and we enjoyed a little time chatting while we wolfed down our breads and drinks. Love this place! Definitely unique. We'll be back again.
I wanted to love this bakery because the bread is fresh and delicious, and it's great to see so many young people working there. That said, be prepared to spend some time here. The lines are very long. Today, I arrived early and was the second person in line, yet my matcha banana cream drink took exactly 24 minutes to prepare. I understand that quality takes time, but the drink-making process could definitely be improved. Even when the bakery is extremely busy, there doesn't seem to be much urgency. It's also worth mentioning that a simple Mexican sweet bread with no filling costs around $5. By the time you purchase a pastry and a drink, you're easily spending close to $15 per person, not including the long wait. The food is good, but the overall experience makes me question whether I'll return.
The best conchas with Oreo filling!! Wow!! Amazing! Too bad it's too far from me but I will stop by every time I am close !! Highly recommended

I grew up in this area and never imagined I'd see something like pan pan growing up, so this is super cool and I love the story behind pan pan as well. That being said, I honestly don't think it's worth it to come here more than once mainly due to the wait. The service is okay, the owner provides umbrellas, seating and water for people who are outside and the staff is nice but they did take a minute to replenish the trays and tongs. I ordered the banana matcha, matcha concha, dulce de leche concha, savory jalapeño and sausage pan, and chocolate chunk cookies. For the drinks, as an Asian person, they are way too sweet. We are in Texas tho so maybe that's why. The pan was okay, the flavor of the concha was just sweet bread, the savory pan seems like a copy of 85 degrees but wasn't as good, and the cookies were huge but very standard. I appreciate them showcasing and providing affordable talaveras from Mexico and that's super unique and bought a plate for my friend who loved it. While I want to be understanding of the small business and the young owner, the add-on prices makes 0 sense to me. How is an extra espresso shot ($0.75) cheaper than what is charged for less ice ($0.85) and milk alternatives ($1.00) when the drinks cost $7+? To me, that does not make sense unless the beans they are using is very low quality and generally just feels off-putting. Overall, I think it's worth a try if you are able to get here early before the line gets really long and make sure to come here hydrated in this Texas heat. The syrups are good in flavor but can be overpowering to a point where there's 0 matcha taste so I can't speak to the matcha itself tbh. The baked goods are generally unique and the concha's do have the Japanese pillowy texture but I wouldn't expect an insane amount of flavor.
I was very impressed by the full experience. I stopped at 1 o'clock on a Thursday and there was a line as expected. The line went pretty quick. As we were waiting fresh bread was constantly being taken out. The employees were very friendly. The gentleman was telling us what he was bringing out. Customer service was top tier. They try to be as quick as they can but they make sure to pack your bread correctly. Now the flavor.... I will say ... it's different. It's not traditional Mexican bread. Come here understanding it's a twist to Mexican bread. To me it was delicious, the mixture of a soft fluffy bread that was good mixed with a sweet filling/ topping was perfection. We also had a regular concha and a croissant bread filled with Nutella. To me the filled bread was way more delicious. In all I will definitely return! Yes it's pricier than traditional bread. But keep in mind this isn't that... it's different and amazing

Mazapan (peanut and powder sugar) Matcha Latte: mazapan oat milk, matcha, mazapan foam, mazapan bits. I've never had mazapan, but I liked the sweetness of the peanuts and powder sugar in the drink. The matcha had grassy notes, which I liked. It tasted like a sweet fresh peanut milk drink but not necessarily like peanut butter milk. You can get a regular or large sized drink. Dulce de leche concha was pretty and tasty. It seemed more milk bread-like since it was soft and fluffy. It reminded me of melon pan because the crust was soft and crumbly. There's a small amount of dulce de leche in the middle, which is okay since the top is very sweet and the dulce de leche is rich. Shio pan with cream cheese and everything bagel: similar to a Chinese baked bread (cut almost all the way) filled with whipped cream cheese. The bottom has a slight crust but not hard like a Korean salt bread, and it's topped with everything bagel seasoning (not too salty). Dubai choco strawberry cookie: moist and almost fudgy because of chocolate chunks, topped with fresh strawberry slices. There's a small center of pistachio cream but the usual crispy noodles were already broken and mixed in, so it's less satisfying to me. The chocolate cookie part was like a rich brownie. It stayed soft even refrigerated. The marranito (pig-shaped sweet cookie) was thick and broke like a soft cookie. It's like a gingerbread cookie with less spices. Even refrigerated, the cookie was pretty soft. I'm usually not too fond of this type of flavor, but I liked this version. Ham and cheese bun: fluffy baked Asian bread with thin slice of ham and cheese. Bacon egg and cheese milk bread resembles a thick Chinese bread bun with a bacon-wrapped thick tamagoyaki inside. The egg part looked like it was overcooked. Coffee bun is a soft and high plain bun covered with a thick layer of slightly bitter coffee powder. The bread items started getting drier after getting cut and refrigerated but softened once they were microwaved. There are clean trays and tongs for the baked goods. The line moves along the edges. The bakery had (2) baskets of large umbrellas since it was a long and slow line and blazing hot. The outside line takes up most of the small parking lot. There is some street parking along the 2-way road. I think the bakery was busier than normal due to it being the day after a BTS concert and social media. It took about 50 minutes to get inside, 20 minutes to get through the line, then 15 minutes to receive drinks. There are a few tables along the right side of the inside bakery and a few small tables outside. Even though it was very busy, the staff projected a friendly and competent image. There're clay heart-shaped plates to eat on and plastic forks for splitting pastries. The graphics on the murals, merch (shirts and aprons), big boxes, and cups were cute. The image on the plastic cups are easily scratched off. read more
Great ambience and exceptional variety of drinks. Service was quick and courteous every time. I particularly love the kolachis and that egg, bacon, and cheese muffin-looking thingy, both are go-to orders for me now. Definitely a spot I'll keep coming back to. PS: Come early, the lines get long and outside the door, be patient with the staff, they work as quickly as possible to get your orders right and ready. read more

worth the hype place. menu menu of drinks that are pretty interesting, i already want to go back and try more tried the specialty matchas (raspberry pistachio matcha and double earl gray) the raspberry pistachio matcha was a dream, so fruity and bright. i couldn't taste the pistachio much once i mixed it in, but by itself, the cream was fantastic; not artificial at all double earl gray was good too, a tad too sweet but overall the flavor was there the ham and cheese pan was amazing, i think that was some of the softest bread of my life - truly biting into a cloud. the birria pan was cheesy and soft too, i think that the birria was a tad dry, probably since the juices were absorbed by the bread. nonetheless still enjoyable!! read more
What a hidden gem! Such a sweet little bakery cafe! I love their branding and the ambiance inside the shop is so cozy and inviting. I love the pink, and the sweet bakery mural right when you walk in! There is generally a line and i think its kind that they offer umbrellas for the sun/rain while you wait I came on a Thursday morning at around 8:45am, they open at 9am. There was already a line of around 10-15 people when i had arrived. The line moved relatively quick once they opened and it was fun to chat with some other people excited to get some morning goodies in line, i probably got inside the shop around 9:20am, and was out the door at 9:45ish. I ordered a pumpkin spice churro matcha, a churro concha, cinnamon roll, kolache, and ham and swiss roll for my family to try and share! Everything was so delicious, the breads were so soft and fluffy, the cinnamon roll was amazing, and had the perfect cinnmony gooey center. Everyone was happy! My only complaint is that i paid an extra $1 for oat milk in my latte, and tipped prior to receiving it, but didnt realize until i got home and tried it that they used regular milk by mistake :( I would definitely return, but hope that in the future they can get an additional register to maybe move the line through a bit quicker! Until then though, definitely worth the wait! read more

Very cute spot and the owner is so vibrant and friendly. The cafe concept is awesome and I ordered a lot! I would love to come more regularly but the wait times are more than 1.5 hours even on Friday at noon. I ordered a lot since it might be a while before i have the time to return Their ube cream matcha was splendid even with quarter sugar! 9/10 one of my favs in DFW Their banana cream matcha was also decadent and rich in all the best ways! 9.5/10 My pastries were cold by the time I got home to eat them. I'd skip the matcha concha but I really liked my Oreo concha 8/10. Their Dubai chocolate chip cookie was pretty good too 7.5/10 I also had a hot dog looking pastry and it hit the spot for a savory note 8/10 read more

Delicious drinks and baked goods! I came here Saturday midafternoon and there was a bit of a line but not too long maybe a 15 minute wait. I got the mango sticky rice matcha, raspberry matcha, panpan latte, and mexican mocha latte. My favorite was the mango sticky rice matcha. It is on the sweeter side but I love mango so I didn't mind at all. The panpan latte was good but I enjoyed the other 3 drinks a tad more. I loved the fusion of japanese-mexican with their pastries and drinks. They had some world cup themed pasteries/drinks which I thought were cute. They also sold such cute art keychains. I couldn't resist buying a smiski matcha one. The workers seemed very friendly even though it was busy. Recommend trying if you're curious about this place! read more

The desserts can sometimes be a little sweet but they're such a good size and constantly creating new things. The workers are super nice and always quick with recommendations and definitely work as quick as they can. Get there quick!! pan pan is always packed but it's for good reason. read more
I stopped by Pan Pan one Saturday morning and there was a long line to the door. I was worried at first that it would take awhile, but they were able to take everyone's orders in a timely manner. My sister and I grabbed some of their flavored conchas and tried their kolaches. I also ordered an iced latte. Everything was delicious and worth the wait. We ended up eating outside of the cafe, since there were no free seats inside. One of the baristas came to check on us, which was nice. I can see why this place is popular, and it's worth the trip for a fun cafe experience. read more
Horchata matcha - less sweeten 10/10 perfect matcha taste and sweetness Mexican mocha - 5/10 watered down nothing special, go for the matcha Extra charge for oat milk! Come on now the drink was already 7.75 just add it to the drink price. Wait was 20 mins but didn't mind because I went to my favorite green nursery down the street. Will be back to try the other matches! read more
Came here again while in the DFW area. Breads and cookie were all soft and tasted amazing. The drinks were also all delicious as well! The line was still out the door and it was about an hour wait again but it is great to see that the quality is still going strong! I will continue to come back. read more

I finally was able to try Pan Pan as I've been seeing their TikToks and the idea of a Japanese Mexican bakery and cafe is so wonderful. I was fortunate in that there was not a long line and I was able to get the breads and pastries that I was wanting. The dulce de leche concha and the ham and cheese kolache was so yummy. I wish there was more sausage in the jalapeño cheese bread but it was still delicious. The banana drinks were so good. The banana flavor in the matcha is more pronounced which I liked. Overall such a lovely experience and everything I hoped for. The workers were very nice and we didn't have to wait too long for the drinks even though it became busy after we ordered. Definitely would recommend if you like pastry shops and good drinks! read more
I heard about this place on social media and I knew I had to go and try it since it was 20 minutes away from me. The first time i went I arrived at 9:15 AM and there was already a line. I went on a tuesday in october so i did not need to have an umbrella to cover me from the sun but i did notice they had umbrellas for their customers to use while they wait in line. They also had water available for free for their customers to keep hydrate, this is a nice gesture as they had a long line of customers. I was not able to purchase anything this first time around since I had to get going and there were still about 20 people in front of me. Second time around I was successful and was able to get the goods. I ended up getting a little bit of everything, i got a a regular kolache and it taste average. Next i got the sausage and jalapeno one and it was my favorite of the two. I did get a matcha concha and it was ok, not impressed by it. On the other hand i got the match cookie and the white macadamia cookie and it was delicious. I wanted to get more but I had to save room for the drinks they had. I went ahead and got the pumpkin churro latte and was not impress honestly. It was ok but it could use more flavor, I got oat milk with this drink and didn't notice they charge $1 for alternative milks. For that price you can get a similar drink at national coffee chain. The price they charge for add ons may not encourage people to purchase more drinks in the futre. I love coffee and I use to work as a barista and is only in my nature to compare drink quality and prices to other places. I would not get this churro pumpkin spice latte drink again in the future. I also did get the banderita drink and this was my favorite. It came with a cute little Mexican flag, adorable! I would have liked to buy more drinks to try them all but the drinks were pricy! I do love to support local businesses but i agree with a lot of people that they need to bring down prices on some things to make it more affordable and have repeat customers. I would love to get my daily coffee drinks from them but it took them at least 20 minutes to get my 2 drinks. I understand they are small but if they would get more espresso machines and hire more staff the wait time would go down. Just my two cents. I did like that they had other things available for sell like snacks and bottle drinks. Tote bags and keychains also available for purchase, also Mexican artesanadas for sale. Also the parking is a bit of an issue. The bakery only has a few spots that actually go to them because they share the parking lot with other local businesses and they have signs that say no pan pan parking. You need to park across the street or park down the road on campo verde and make the short walk to pan pan. I would say come try it once, get there early, expect to pay almost a dollar for each add one. Expect to pay around $5 for each item because all of the things I got were almost $50. Expect to park further down the street and expect to wait in line for a while since the hype does not seem to slow down. read more

I had a Holiday Party at work and I stopped by to pick up some baked goods and they were a smash! Everyone loved them! I grabed a little bit of everything! The Dubai Chocolate Cookies were the crowd favorite! Second were the matcha white chocolate cookies. The cafe was really busy that morning so the service took a little while, but most definitely worth the wait. I'll make sure to spread the news yall are open! Thank you so much! read more

Arrived at 10am during the week and it was a good time considering it's almost spring break. We had the Matcha Bun, Nutella pan, pigs in a blanket. Drinks were: La Banderita and a hot Mexican Mocha. Service was quick and bread is self serve. The most you would wait for 4-5 drinks were 5 minutes. Breads were good but no option to heat up baked goods. Ambiance was an 8/10. The place, however, already looks like it is outgrowing due to its popularity. read more

I had wanted to check this place out for awhile.. finally got the opportunity! It's very cute, yummy and as you're aware a little bit of a slow process. There's an outside line with umbrellas before you get into the inside line. Once inside you grab a tray and get to pick your pastries. Everything averages about $5 each, but you're supporting a small business. I ended up getting a few different items and everything was soft and delicious. I also ordered a raspberry lemonade which was nice and refreshing. If you order a drink it is an additional wait for them to make that. The shop has a small waiting area inside but it is very crowded with everyone in there. I think they should try and add some additional patio seating outside for those waiting for their drinks. I will go back and endure the wait again because everything did taste so good! read more

Pan Pan Bakery and Cafe is a local family owned bakery which specializes in mexican and Japanese baked goods. The parking spaces are limited. The inside of the cafe is warm and inviting. They have display cases where you pick your treats and bring them to the counter to pay. The lady who served me was the sister of the owner, she was friendly and helpful. They have local merchandise for sale as well. I picked up their jalapeño sausage kolache and banana bread. Their baked goods are huge, one treat is plenty for one person. The jalapeño sausage kolache was flavorful with a nice spice to it. The banana bread was delicious and dense. I look forward to returning. read more
Pan Pan...Yum yum!! Ok so the parking is impossible and it's small and it's usually a wait to buy anything. That being said that Tres Leches latte is fire. DH got the horchata matcha which he enjoyed. We also got a delicious cinnamon roll, matcha cookie, and some kolaches. All items wee tasty. Service was superb! This place is cute. read more

Upon arriving here, the first thing I noticed was that parking is a bit limited. There are about six spots directly in front of the building, but I wasn't sure if the lot on the side was available for customer parking, so I just played it safe and parked out front. If you're coming during a busy time, finding a spot might take a bit of patience. Walking in, the place has a cozy, cute vibe. There's a wide selection of baked goods on display that all look fresh. They also have some merchandise and other little items for sale. It's clear they put thought into the overall aesthetic and experience. There aren't a lot of seating options. Just a few spots here and there, so probably not the best place to come with a big group. Not a ton of space to sit and hang out, especially if it gets crowded, but it's nice and quiet inside. The staff were super friendly and helpful from the start. We ordered a Banana Cream Matcha and a coffee bun. We waited around 8-10 minutes which felt totally reasonable, especially since I only saw one barista working the bar. Props to them for hand-whisking the matcha. I appreciated that they hand-whisk their matcha the traditional way, which you don't always see. A lot of places just use a spoon or a milk frother and call it a day, so this felt like a nice touch. The Banana Cream Matcha was actually pretty good! The banana flavor wasn't too overpowering, and the creamy top layer added a nice richness to the drink. It felt well-balanced. The coffee bun was fresh and warm--soft on the inside with a slightly crispy exterior. Definitely something I'd get again. Overall, Pan Pan Bakery is a cute little spot with a cozy atmosphere. It seems like a great place to study or chill for a bit, especially if you enjoy quieter cafés. Just keep in mind the limited seating and parking if you're planning to hang out for a while. read more
We arrived around 8am on a weekday and were one of the first ones in line, but the line started filling up fast! They owners were really nice and brought out water, chairs and umbrellas for everyone to use while waiting and even told us where not to park because they're towing cars in that area. The lines moved pretty quick once they opened. You self serve and grab your own pastries then order drinks at the counter. The salted bun was my favorite. I felt the matcha milk bread didn't have much matcha flavor, but the milk bread itself was good. I ordered the mango sticky rice and the mango was actually tart, which I didn't expect. Doesn't really remind me of mango sticky rice because they don't use the right type of mangoes, but it was still a decent drink to try out! read more
Pan Pan Bakery and Cafe serves a mix of Mexican and (I've heard?) Japanese baked goods that go well with espresso and matcha. The menu includes conchas and savory items. The food is fresh and well-made with a fun self-serve process. They also sell these odd toy dolls?? I don't understand. The cafe is always busy, with a steady crowd and a line in the morning. The staff is friendly but overworked. It's clean and cozy, and feels like somewhere school kids might want to hang out, though I've mostly seen adults enjoying the space. It almost seems they have outgrown their space, and they may need to move, but I truly hope they can expand without leaving the neighborhood. If you don't mind waiting, the food and drinks are exactly what this area needs. read more

Totally not what i was expecting has no taste whatsoever like matcha has a very artificial mango taste.Definitely needs some improvement for the price that you are paying. read more
Came for the viral mango sticky rice matcha latte (seasonal), and it lived up to the hype! I learned from coming that this bakery only opened up fall of 2024 by an enthusiastic 20yr old baker. I'm so impressed! I hope this Japanese-Mexican bakery continues to flourish and expand. read more
