The first time I attempted to visit this spot a few months back, the line wrapped around the building on a hot day so I decided to wait. This little amazing spot deserves all the hype. Oh my goodness what a delightful experience. The conchas are just so tasty my mouth starts watering again. My fresas con crema matcha was delicious, I cannot wait to go back again. Excellent quality, delicious treats, what else can you ask for?
We woke up bright and early to drive an hour here and it was worth it. The area was kind of hidden and small but the interior was pretty cute. We got 2 drinks: Arroz con Leche Matcha and Cupid's Matcha (Valentine's special). We got regular size for both of the drinks and it was about $9+ each which was really expensive in my opinion, but it was an 16oz cup so I guess. The arroz con leche matcha has cinnamon and Mexican rice pudding in it, it was good but I didn't taste much matcha from it, I think the cinnamon overpowered it. The Cupid's matcha however was really good, it wasn't too sweet and it paired so well with the drink. I would love to try the double matcha or banana cream matcha next time. We also got some pastry: Matcha Concha, Ham & Cheese bread, and Salt Bread. The salt bread was so light, airy, and buttery, it was not dry at all. The ham & cheese bread was also really good, it was a big bread and it had ham inside. The matcha concha was okay, not sweet but it just tasted like bread to me. I think if you could bring them home and reheat them they would all taste so much better! I didn't know they have Birria Salt Bread and I'm so sad I missed out since I came too early :(( We went on a Friday morning right when they opened but it was pretty packed already, thankfully there was no long line (yet). Overall it was pretty nice trying out this viral place and they deserve it :)
Wed 1pm arrival and there was already a line wrapped the outside of the building. They are so nice, they provided umbrellas to protect against the sun, and water dispenser with cups! Die hard pastry lovers, we waited on the line for 25 min + until we got to the cashier where we ordered hot chai with oat milk, Oreo concha, ham and cheese, pan de Muerto... and a few other buns (we ate them too quickly I can't remember!) There are a few small tables in this cafe/bakery and we enjoyed a little time chatting while we wolfed down our breads and drinks. Love this place! Definitely unique. We'll be back again.
Arrived at 10am during the week and it was a good time considering it's almost spring break. We had the Matcha Bun, Nutella pan, pigs in a blanket. Drinks were: La Banderita and a hot Mexican Mocha. Service was quick and bread is self serve. The most you would wait for 4-5 drinks were 5 minutes. Breads were good but no option to heat up baked goods. Ambiance was an 8/10. The place, however, already looks like it is outgrowing due to its popularity.
Pan pan is such a cute and great add to the area. I grew up in this area and never imagined I'd see something like pan pan growing up, so this is super cool and I love the story behind pan pan as well. That being said, I honestly don't think it's worth it to come here more than once mainly due to the wait. The service is okay, the owner provides umbrellas, seating and water for people who are outside and the staff is nice but they did take a minute to replenish the trays and tongs. I ordered the banana matcha, matcha concha, dulce de leche concha, savory jalapeño and sausage pan, and chocolate chunk cookies. For the drinks, as an Asian person, they are way too sweet. We are in Texas tho so maybe that's why. The pan was okay, the flavor of the concha was just sweet bread, the savory pan seems like a copy of 85 degrees but wasn't as good, and the cookies were huge but very standard. I appreciate them showcasing and providing affordable talaveras from Mexico and that's super unique and bought a plate for my friend who loved it. While I want to be understanding of the small business and the young owner, the add-on prices makes 0 sense to me. How is an extra espresso shot ($0.75) cheaper than what is charged for less ice ($0.85) and milk alternatives ($1.00) when the drinks cost $7+? To me, that does not make sense unless the beans they are using is very low quality and generally just feels off-putting. Overall, I think it's worth a try if you are able to get here early before the line gets really long and make sure to come here hydrated in this Texas heat. The syrups are good in flavor but can be overpowering to a point where there's 0 matcha taste so I can't speak to the matcha itself tbh. The baked goods are generally unique and the concha's do have the Japanese pillowy texture but I wouldn't expect an insane amount of flavor.
I was very impressed by the full experience. I stopped at 1 o'clock on a Thursday and there was a line as expected. The line went pretty quick. As we were waiting fresh bread was constantly being taken out. The employees were very friendly. The gentleman was telling us what he was bringing out. Customer service was top tier. They try to be as quick as they can but they make sure to pack your bread correctly. Now the flavor.... I will say ... it's different. It's not traditional Mexican bread. Come here understanding it's a twist to Mexican bread. To me it was delicious, the mixture of a soft fluffy bread that was good mixed with a sweet filling/ topping was perfection. We also had a regular concha and a croissant bread filled with Nutella. To me the filled bread was way more delicious. In all I will definitely return! Yes it's pricier than traditional bread. But keep in mind this isn't that... it's different and amazing
What a hidden gem! Such a sweet little bakery cafe! I love their branding and the ambiance inside the shop is so cozy and inviting. I love the pink, and the sweet bakery mural right when you walk in! There is generally a line and i think its kind that they offer umbrellas for the sun/rain while you wait I came on a Thursday morning at around 8:45am, they open at 9am. There was already a line of around 10-15 people when i had arrived. The line moved relatively quick once they opened and it was fun to chat with some other people excited to get some morning goodies in line, i probably got inside the shop around 9:20am, and was out the door at 9:45ish. I ordered a pumpkin spice churro matcha, a churro concha, cinnamon roll, kolache, and ham and swiss roll for my family to try and share! Everything was so delicious, the breads were so soft and fluffy, the cinnamon roll was amazing, and had the perfect cinnmony gooey center. Everyone was happy! My only complaint is that i paid an extra $1 for oat milk in my latte, and tipped prior to receiving it, but didnt realize until i got home and tried it that they used regular milk by mistake :( I would definitely return, but hope that in the future they can get an additional register to maybe move the line through a bit quicker! Until then though, definitely worth the wait!
Very cute spot and the owner is so vibrant and friendly. The cafe concept is awesome and I ordered a lot! I would love to come more regularly but the wait times are more than 1.5 hours even on Friday at noon. I ordered a lot since it might be a while before i have the time to return Their ube cream matcha was splendid even with quarter sugar! 9/10 one of my favs in DFW Their banana cream matcha was also decadent and rich in all the best ways! 9.5/10 My pastries were cold by the time I got home to eat them. I'd skip the matcha concha but I really liked my Oreo concha 8/10. Their Dubai chocolate chip cookie was pretty good too 7.5/10 I also had a hot dog looking pastry and it hit the spot for a savory note 8/10
Came here again while in the DFW area. Breads and cookie were all soft and tasted amazing. The drinks were also all delicious as well! The line was still out the door and it was about an hour wait again but it is great to see that the quality is still going strong! I will continue to come back.
I finally was able to try Pan Pan as I've been seeing their TikToks and the idea of a Japanese Mexican bakery and cafe is so wonderful. I was fortunate in that there was not a long line and I was able to get the breads and pastries that I was wanting. The dulce de leche concha and the ham and cheese kolache was so yummy. I wish there was more sausage in the jalapeño cheese bread but it was still delicious. The banana drinks were so good. The banana flavor in the matcha is more pronounced which I liked. Overall such a lovely experience and everything I hoped for. The workers were very nice and we didn't have to wait too long for the drinks even though it became busy after we ordered. Definitely would recommend if you like pastry shops and good drinks!

Omg I finally got a chance to try out this place after all the rave, and let me just say the matcha was so good! The shop is a little hidden, and is a little small in the inside, but the interior was so cute!! Parking might be a little of a struggle but theres extra spots across the street. The day I went the line was all the way to the door, and it was literally 30 minutes until close. I was surprised to still see the huge line, I waited probably about 30 ish minutes for my two drinks but it was fine because they were super busy so it was understandable. I got the hortchata matcha and the banana cream and they were 10/10! I definitely will be back!! read more
I am obsessed with Pan Pan now! The baked goods are so unique. I never knew I was missing a Mexican and Japanese fusion bakery before. The favorites of mine so far are the jalapeno beef bread and shiopan. The Kerry gold butter used in many pastries is sooo flavorful and the concha's are insanely fresh. The drinks are so fun and my favorite so far has been the strawberry puree matcha special they served for cinco de mayo. read more

You need to visit Pan Pan Bakery & Cafe! I went this morning right when they opened, there was already a few customers in front of me & some that walked in after me. Word is getting out about this place! It is little but mighty, with still enough space to enjoy a treat or coffee. They make a few items such as conchas, banana bread, cookies, kolaches, croissants... they all looked delicious. I opted for the salted buttered bread & the ham 'n cheese croissant made with salted buttered bread. Fluffy, pillowy... yaaaaas! They also offer some coffees/teas & have a small refrigerator next to the counter with additional items. Self serve on pastries, grab a tray & tongs then put what you want on the tray... they'll package it up for you at checkout. Service is A+++, it's family run & they are very sweet. Prices are affordable & fair, it's very cute inside. They close at 3pm... please stop by, you won't be sorry! read more

We drove almost an hour here and it was so worth it ! The birria pan was soooo good ! Me and my husband got a banana bread latte and a chocolate hazelnut latte, the workers are so sweet and very attentive! We saw them bringing out fresh bread and sweet bread every 5-10 mins. Such a great way to represent Mexican culture as well as the Japanese fusion it was perfect ! Definitely worth the hype and we will be back! read more
Waited just over an hour to get in and get some conchas and more. I think it's a cute little shop with excellent customer service. Every staff member I interacted with was absolutely wonderful. They're really good at replenishing the shelves and making sure those still in line to pay have a chance to get new stock if it wasn't there when they came by. The decor of the place was very cute. Due to the long wait, they do have umbrellas available for customers to borrow to shade from the sun or rain (which is absolutely so thoughtful of them.) I love that business has been so great for them and I think it's well deserved, but some things that took me away from a 5-star review is just that it's not worth waiting 1+ hrs for. Yes, the pastries are good but they're not magical or to die for by any means. My ham and cheese roll had a singular slice of ham inside - not worth $5 in my opinion. I didn't quite enjoy my tres leches latte (personally I think it was too concentrated for a latte but that's just my preference), but my fiancé's strawberry lemonade matcha was good. They do have tables, but it's 4 tables with seating for 8-10 people. And then people are standing around waiting for their drinks so it feels awkward. I waited 15 mins for the drinks. Again, love their success, and I'm sure this wasn't something they thought would happen to their shop and they're doing the best to accommodate for the influx of customers, but two drinks alone cost me nearly $20, my ham and cheese roll had one slice of ham and cost me $5. I think once the hype simmers a bit, it'll be better because I won't feel the need to overbuy and get everything to make up for standing in line for so long and actually enjoy the pastries. read more
Great Japanese-Mexican Bakery! I got the Bandera Matcha 10/10 the matcha was very smooth paired really well with the Strawberry. I also a few pastries to try, overall the breads are good! Very milky and fluffy, like the owner said! I went around 11 with my friend luckily the line was not that long! It's a small shop, so they are very sweet and prepared ice water and umbrella for everyone who waits in line outside! read more
This bakery had a variety of pastries and drinks to choose from. I got the matcha latte and it was okay. I wish there was a stronger matcha flavor but it did come with a matcha wafer which was a nice touch. The service was also great and all the staff were super cheerful and made the experience pleasant. The establishment is fairly small so seats & parking were both limited. There is a parking lot across the street you can park at. It also was decorated very cutely with a lot of Sonny Angels and they have their own merch for sale if you wish to purchase it! read more
What a charming place with the warmest welcome and sweet treats that's not overwhelmingly sweet, just perfect! Tucked away by the warehouses in Pantego, this cafe has practically perfected the Mexican and Japanese fusion influence for pastries and lattes. A cozy space with great service. Everything from the milk bread concha to the banana matcha latte was satisfying. My favorite was the s'mores cookie and their pan pan latte. There are also savory pastry options available. read more

I got a tres leche latte ( taste similar to a teas leche in addition a coffee taste with it ) and the matcha cocoha ( has the traditional cocha taste but with the twist of matcha that isn't overpowering ) and both I enjoyed I would say thou its was packed and you had to wait a while for your drink but they are tryna to solve it by hiring more ppl read more

I saw the owner posts some videos ok Instagram about her dream of combining the Japanese and Mexican culture all in one and was so intrigued. On my visit the line was out the door but they were so quick with ringing people up and delivering the drinks! While you wait you, you can look around and see the mix of both Mexican and Japanese culture, it was so beautiful and inviting! The Nutella concha was something I was not prepared for the actual Nutella filling so delicious! read more

The flavor of this matcha was incredible! The inside of the bakery is also super cute, and all the workers are so sweet. I went over the weekend, so expect it to take over 15 minutes for your drink to be made because they do get busy. read more

This place having a line to get in just makes sense! The service is 10/10! The atmosphere and what they offer is also amazing. The pan dulce and different snacks they have there is so yummy. The matchas are hands down one of the best if not the best I've had in the DFW area. Worth the drive and the wait for sure. Make sure to check this place out! read more

Run and get the banana cream matcha!!!!!! Soooo good. The girls here are so nice and welcoming. They have a variety of baked goods and even merchandise for sale. The place is decorated so cute. I have been here twice and love it! I've only tried the banana crème matcha and it tastes like banana pudding. I think it's the best matcha I've had! The second time I tried this place I purchased a clay cup, chocolate pecan cookie, chorizo and sausage kolache, pecan cinnamon roll, and the Nutella stuffed bread. It was all really good! the cinnamon roll icing was a bit grainy from the sugar but the dough was really nice. The cashiers were really nice and make really good recommendations! Highly recommend this place. read more

This place is great!!!!! I heard so much about PanPan and didn't have high expectations because many matcha places don't make their matchas right. However, they have a variety of large cookies, conchas, savory breads, and etc. They also have shirts and pottery you can buy from. The employees are extremely nice, always greeting with a smile and enthusiasm. The drinks are pricy, but I wouldn't expect less from a small business with quality drinks. I got the mango sticky rice matcha which was so delicious and fresh, and I also got to try the banana cream matcha which was also very delicious. My friends said the double matcha as well as the strawberry matcha was good. This place is extremely busy and limes can build up but they have places to sit and it has good, bright vibes! I will totally come back and recommend this to others. read more

Super cute cafe, great for studying, and free wifi! Yummy high quality matcha w/ many flavors and house made flavors as well, all bread items are super soft and they will warm up whatever you want to eat for here. Cashier was the sweetest girl and was very patient with customers and politely explained the different menu items. The place is a bit small with only four tables, larger parties may have trouble with seating. read more

They hand whisk the matcha which i LOVE! you can really taste the quality and all the drinks are made with so much love We got the raspberry matcha and the sticky rice matcha, both DELICIOUS! We also got the banana bread, churro concha, and kolache (also so yum!!) they were kind enough to warm them up for us as well:) ALSO! we got some sonny angels and other figurines i'll definitely be coming back soon!!! new fav spot read more

Heard about Pan Pan on social media and dropped in. Right off Pioneer Parkway, plenty of parking. Spotless clean when we walked in. Staff are really friendly and professional. GUYS I LOVE PANPAN!!! The baristas are super friendly and I love supporting small businesses like this. I have always had great experiences trying different drinks and pastries. I highly recommend the banana cream matcha latte and the Japanese milk bread concha !! The store is also very cute! Although it does get busy on the weekends, they manage the rushes well.
