Im a Starbucks Lover, I know it sounds weird but it is what it is. I have been a gold member for years and I know their menu perfectly well. I have had my share if negative and positive experiences. Starbucks at The Fountains of Farah has offered me a positive experience every time. Currently with COVID19 restrictions waiting in the drive thru is definitely longer than before the pandemic but totally doable if you got 15 minutes to spare. I personally always order on the phone App while in line, by the time they ask me what I would like my drinks are always ready and paid for. When at the window they simply hand them to me. Their drive thru is definitely a bit tight for big trucks which I dislike but won't stop me from visiting them. I love this Starbucks because the wifi works very very well. At many places I have to sit and wait for my iPad to pull up a site, not at this one. It is very customer friendly and the various seating arrangements allows for plenty of groups to come in and just hang out. Before I say anything else...yes, I know it's Starbucks. Yes, I know the drinks are the same in every Starbucks. No, it's not the best Starbucks I've ever been to (I have a weird obsession with a lot of the SB's in Philly). Buuuuuuuuuuuut on an EP level this is the best SB we have. So far. This location just recently opened up at the Fountains. After annoyingly snapping pictures of the baristas, the bar, my drink, customers, myself, and any other little thing I found relevant, I began uploading pictures to Instagram. The first being a picture of the space from a couch and captioned it with, "okay Starbucks. tryna get all urban industrial on me." After a few back and forths with my buddy Adam (who's all into that architectural hoopla), it was understood that 'urban industrial' is the perfect description for this SB. It's Adam approved! I love the booth seating. It's higher up and the tables are bar height, so you can put a few bar chairs around it. The couches are comfy like I expect in a SB. It just generally looks nicer and more put together than the other SBs here. So no need wasting my time on the drinks and eats. The staff is trained, okay? I was sooo impressed with this location and the gentleman man that was working there this morning 6:00am 11/27. I go to Starbucks everyday mainly the one by my home in Edmond Oklahoma. I was visiting my family in El Paso over the thanksgiving break and went to this Starbucks everyday while in town. This morning the sweet guy that was working even remembered my drink Venti Emperor Cloud with extra steamed coconut milk and 4 pumps of Sugar Free Vanilla. Out of all of the locations I have been too each day I would say that my tea has never been this good! Oh no. Stopped by this morning at 8 and the drive thru was CRAZY. We didn't want to go inside so we opted to wait. The line actually moved quickly though and so we got to ordering! The employee taking our order over the intercom was actually pretty nice and had a friendly tone to her voice. We ended up ordering one bacon and Gouda sandwich, a Trenta açaí refresher, and a water. We pull up to the window and the lady who was there definitely was not having a good day. She looked bored. This must've not been the lady taking the orders on the intercom... We get our stuff, wish her a good day and drive off.. I was so excited to eat my sandwich so I quickly bit into it... ummm what did I bite into?.... I bit into a piece of ICE! Gross! The outside of the sandwich was hott af but the middle was freakin icy!!!! I ended up throwing away my breakfast and decided to not eat my frozen sandwich. I don't know, there are about 4 Starbucks in the same 5 mile radius so I am noticing wrong check in for locations that aren't accurate. Ha! Overall, Starbucks is Starbucks. I've noticed that if I am in other cities the service is more genuine. Here not so much. My drinks are always different so I kinda just stick to the refreshers during the summer time. This location is located in the fountains and doesn't open as early as the Gateway and Airway location. The good thing about this place they don't put the tip jar on the drive through window which I think is tacky! If service was amazing I'm sure more tips would be rolling in. Nothing notably worthy of more than 3 stars for this frequent flier!!! read more

Whoa, I think we've got a new best Starbucks in El Paso! Given all the hype and anticipation for the Fountains, its only appropriate that their Starbucks would be the nicest in town. This location is quite big, with lots of seating arrangements, aside from the tables I noticed seats at the bar, just off from where you get your coffee. The armchair and couch arrangement is quite homely, very impressive. I'm also a fan of their outside seating, which isn't fenced in like at most locations. Coffee and pastries are as tasty as we've come to expect from SBUX, and the folks working there were very friendly. Another thing I noticed is that their Wi-Fi provider is Google and not AT&T, I'm not sure how this impacts things, but I found it interesting. Though this location has a drive-thru, I'm not sure getting here is as convenient as other locations, IMO this is more of a sit down and enjoy while reading type of location. read more

This is my new go-to Starbucks now. Why? The baristas. One thing I like about this SB baristas than other coffee shops, at least, in EP, is that they communicate with you. "Let me know if you want more soy in your coffee. You can bring it back." Who says that? I was so touched that this one particular barista was willing to go extra mile for me, a student who was having a rough day (yes I was even struggling to decide how much soy I should put in my decaf). It's not just her. It seems like SB manager here trains their baristas really well bc everyone of them (so far) greeted me with that Sun City smile! I know where I will go when I need my decaf soy... I was dissapointed in this location. I did a mobile order and went in to pick it up. Behind the counter was incredibly messy with cups, wrappers, label paper, and other items all around the floor and counter top. The barista working the drinks didn't seem confident in what she was doing and kept stopping to think while making drinks. My food order contained a completely different item than I ordered, which was corrected when I brought it to their attention. There were a lot of staff behind the counter but they all seemed preoccupied with gossiping with each other while two other employees were hunched over a book regarding some type of scheduling issue. I like this Starbucks, but they always seem to do something wrong with my order. Once I ordered a cinnamon raisin bagel- when I drove off I noticed that the bag had a parfait in it. I turned around and went back, gave them back the parfait and got the bagel. When I got home and looked in the bag, the bagel was a whole wheat bagel, AND they forgot the cream cheese. By this time I was hungry enough to just eat it, but it was a big letdown. If I'm going to spend that much on a bagel, it needs to be the right one. There was another time that I got a bagel and they forgot to put the cream cheese in the bag. The drive-through wait can be a little long, but mostly because it's in a pretty busy area. Chunky milk!!!!! I spoke to the "supervisor" and they said that it's the soy and its normal. Ummmm I'm a gold card member and my lattes have never had chunky milk at the bottom. This Starbucks is brand new and right off the highway by the new fountains of Farah shopping center. The good news is that you can get to the restaurant without entering the CRAZY line of traffic going into the center, but you have to know where you're going. Unlike other Starbucks I've seen in Houston (river oaks) and a few in the Dallas area, there isn't the typical 15 minute wait in your car. The bar inside is even less busy, and usually not crowded like most others. They just got an upgrade to the food menu with a nice line of pastries and sandwiches. This is my go to for breakfast when I travel monthly... Venti green tea, unsweet, light ice and the blueberry oatmeal lol. They specialize in coffee sure, but the food is quite delicious and the service is fantastic. I have never had an issue here, especially with a smile and a thank you every time I pick up food. They are quick, very knowledgeable, and work hard to deliver the expected Starbucks experience. There isnt much in that center to compare so I see this getting more and more busy. read more

Just like any other starbucks or cafes, it'll always be busy especially in the mornings and weekends. They have a drive-thru and a variety of seating arrangements inside and outside. I particularly love the cushioned benches with high tables and chairs. Parking isn't really ideal, due to the small parking space at the front of the building and it's congruent to Five Guys. So it does get packed. However , there is additional parking at the end near the jewelry place. Service is always quick for me, drive-thru and indoors. They're always nice and loud when calling out people's orders. They're courteous and approachable. I like this location, I always need my coffee fix and it's great it's close by!
