Good service, good coffee. Very refreshing pick-me-up fueling a long day of road trip driving

No wifi

Good coffee but pretty bad business model currently. No bathrooms for customers (what??). NO WIFI . And get this if you want more than 1 OZ of half and half in your Americano they charge you $1.50. I've never felt like a coffee shop didn't want business until today! The lady making my coffee was very kind. Hopefully they get their act together bc yes the coffee is good and this place would have so much potential if it was more inviting :)

I still can't believe this company is still in business - awesome! I first heard of Bldg 6 4 years ago when I was living in El Paso, TX. They have delicious coffee. Their shop/roastery is very modern and appealing. As for their coffee, I love their mocha cold-brew. It's the best tasting mocha coffee that is 100% real - no generic sugars, etc. While I was in town, I decided to give them a visit and found them in the same place, with the same staff, and same delicious coffee. This time around I also ordered a cortado which was very delicious.

This place was a wonderful find while driving through El Paso. I ordered the almond cold brew but with oatmilk and honestly the best cold brew coffee I've ever had! Its unfortunate I can't find this place elsewhere :( ! This place has a bench to sit inside for like 2 people but for the most part you order coffee to go. The lady taking orders also made the drinks. She was sooo sweet and patient. Usually if there is no line behind me and I am at a new coffee place I am so conflicted on what to try so she was really nice in guiding me! There is a parking available in front of the coffee spot, its clean, quiet and peaceful. They did a great job with ambience of this place. The prices were decent! I would totally stop here again if life takes me back to El Paso!

The iced mocha is decadent and delicious. The dark chocolate shavings really compliments the roast of their coffee beans. Not too sweet but not bitter. It's perfect!

A ....mind blowing.....amazing......can't think of a way to make it any better.... delicious..... cup of coffee. They've got kind of a weird location but that meant that on the day I arrived I was the one and only customer. Just about perfect.

Clean, simple and delicious. The shop smells amazing and the service is great- very friendly and inviting! I got the egg nog latte and my baby sister got the Americano and it was good! Bold, rich and smooth and the coffee is ground fresh daily! I would absolutely come back again!!! Way better than the main stream coffee shops!

Amazing lattes!

Yes!!!! The espresso in this quaint spot just elevates my soul to the Heavens! I am now on the prowl for the best espressos i can find in latte form. Thank God i stumbled upon this gem! I was in quite a hurry too that day to meet up with a friend and wanted to bring us some good lattes. I mean, good, hearty espresso and cream lattes, not just plain Starbucks fluff. I wanted it to taste so rich, it was like a dessert, and this place has that!! Not only do they have quality, but they also have superb service! His name was Isaiah who kept his cool with all my flurry of trying to order 2 hot lattes within a quick manner. I inquired how long it would take and he politely said 10 mins due to other orders. I was clearly debating about this in my head, at which he responded, "I can try in 5". Though i didnt want to rush him, i took his wager as i needed to change clothes too. I had to walk back to my car for my clothes, back to their restroom to change, back to the car to leave my other clothes. By the time i went back, 2 hot lattes were perfect and ready!! I was floored and elated he managed this so quick!! Thank you again to this young knight of Espresso who saved the day!! I cant wait to come back when im not in a rush and enjoy their fine art of ridiculously delicious coffee. I'll be coming all the way from the northeast side just for this!! This is the best place for coffee in all EP!

In my reviews, I always try to be level headed and even keeled and not go overboard one way or the other. That being said; this place is incredible. It's the best coffee shop I've seen in West Texas and could easily exist in some of the most competitive coffee shop markets in the country. It's greatness totally belies the non-descript strip mall it's in way out in the eastern part of El Paso. When you walk in, your nose is welcomed by the smell of freshly roasting coffee and instantly see all of the proper accoutrements of a real coffee roaster. The space is laid out in a very industrial chic tables and chairs with some very chill alternative music playing at low volume in the background. I walked up to the counter to order and having never been here before asked for a menu to which I was very kindly handed one. They have a long menu of all sorts of handcrafted drinks which are all prepared right in front of your eyes right behind the counter. After perusing the menu, I opted for the pour over and was handed a list of the different pour over options which included single origin beans from either Mexico, Columbia or Costa Rica. Being that I was in El Paso, I decided to opt for the Mexico. Immediately after I ordered, the barista went to a different part of the counter and weighed out my beans and then ground them to order. After that (which smelled amazing), she warmed the water to the perfect temperature and poured just the right amount over the ground beans and waited for it to drip down and continued to do this until my white ceramic mug was filled. The end product was a great steaming mug of single origin Mexican beans that tasted fantastic. If you're ever in El Paso and want coffee; go here.

Specialty coffee in El Paso...you're joking, right? No. True story bro! Any coffee shop recognizing a G&B Coffee/GGET (Go Get Em Tiger) snapback cap immediately earns my respect. That's exactly what happened while visiting Bldg 6 Coffee Roasters. Ray was working bar and took our order, then quickly told me he liked my G&B 'COFFEE' cap. He said he saw it on Instagram and was surprised to actually see it in person. Never in my wildest dreams would I have ever thought a little third wave shop in the middle of nowhere would identify my cap! But the blessing of seeing a customer who is actually serious about coffee can rattle a barista's nerves. I could tell Ray was geeking out actually getting to talk with someone who KNOWS coffee but when it came time to cupping my 'One and One' (Split Shot Espresso served as single espresso and a single macchiato) Ray's hands were noticeably quivering, which became ever more apparent while pouring milk into my single macchiato. Nerves or not, in all honesty, Ray did an amazing job slinging his spro. What you must know about Bldg 6 Coffee Roasters: - Yes, they are a third wave, specialty coffee shop - Yes, they small batch roast their espresso and coffee beans - Due to coffee palates of locals, they have to resort to darker roasting techniques One and One: 4.5/5 Since I'm being honest, you must know something. I nearly passed on ordering spro. Why? Right when we entered, my eyes zeroed in on their hopper and my heart sank! I was really discouraged noticing just how dark their beans were in hopper. Essentially, I was anticipating Starbucks flavor notes (translated as no flavor notes other than tasting char/burnt). Much to my surprise, their espresso was more than palatable! The single spro was balanced, smooth and intentionally bright. Equally so was the single shot that served as the canvas for my macchiato. This tells me that Ray pulled an even shot. Despite the fact that Bldg 6's espresso is roasted to satisfy the indistinguishable palate of Starbucks drinkers, their darker approach to third wave coffee is well executed. It's a crying shame that locals have no clue about how they can expand their coffee horizons by drinking coffee and espresso that's lighter roasted. Bldg 6 Coffee Roasters is ready and willing to educate and introduce El Paso coffee drinkers to a heightened coffee & espresso experience...if customers are willing to have an open mind and see beyond classic roasting techniques.

Coffee was good! Was the only person there and it took a good 15 minutes to get 2 coffees made. Weirdly placed spot for a coffee shop.

Recommend for lunch, a lavender latte, or just a chill spot to work or study.

We weren't sure what to expect driving up to it for the first time given that it is located in a shopping center. Inside isn't super big so if you're coming and it's busy be aware that there are 5-6 2-seaters (can probably be pushed together) and a couple 4 to 6-seaters. We came in at about 7:45 in the morning on a Thursday and were the only ones inside at the time. As time went on more people ended up showing up and taking tables. I ordered an "Iced Pistachio Latte"--not a big fan of the metallic straws, but thankfully they had regular straws available. The latte was good, but not great in my personal opinion. It was creamy and sweet but something was lacking. Loved the cup it came in, going with the Halloween vibe. I will definitely be coming back next time I'm in EP, and I definitely recommend this spot!!

They are super sweet as well as all the associates. Can't believe I've lived here in El Paso for almost 7 years and I just discovered this place a few weeks ago other than oh my God oh my God oh my God there are no other words.

They said, we can't do 12 (I figured as much) and our new hires generally start "low". During the hiring process, I was NOT told the actual starting pay was $8/hour during a probation period. (I assumed "low" meant the $10 on the 10 to 14 range I saw on the posted job listing. Shame on me for not realizing the use of logic was optional ). That only came up after I had already accepted the job and started onboarding. It was actually my coworkers that said the new hires started $8 an hour. That's when I asked about pay clarification. "$8" never came up during the interview. When I brought it up, it was THEN confirmed that all new hires start at $8/hour for a few weeks and can get a raise after that. I was also told tips factor into "effective hourly pay," but tips aren't guaranteed and fluctuate too much to realistically count on when you're trying to budget your life. Telling me that I "technically" make $10 an hour with tips is BS. I "technically" have bills to pay and I can't budget my finances based on a technicality. **And if any of you reading this are teenagers looking to get a job here, she specifically told me she doesn't like hiring teenagers because they're unreliable. Yet when I approached her with a very professional message regarding my pay concerns she ghosted me for 3 days, and counting. Who's acting like a teenager now? (No offense to any of you, just running with what she said). I'm not mad about there being a probation period or a starting rate. I'm frustrated that the actual starting pay wasn't clearly communicated upfront compared to the advertised range. I took the job based on that posted range, and the reality didn't match what was presented when I applied. If the 10 to $14 an hour range doesn't match the pay in El Paso then that needs to be the very first thing you bring up during the interview. She said that that posting was from corporate and doesn't reflect the local pay. Maybe lead with that next time. If you just need a few extra bucks on the side, or you're just starting out with your first job, then as Krusty the Clown says, "It's not just good, it's good enough."
