I turned away from Starbucks a while ago because I prefer to shop small any time I can. The prices are pretty average for what seems to be a small locally owned business, but the amount you get for what you pay for is stellar. The barista is always very kind and patient with the new drinks I want to try, and makes suggestions that have ended in a s'mores frappe more than once to get me through the drive home as the drinks stay good in the fridge! I'd 100% recommend it over any other place around. I'll be visiting again soon!

No,"Someone will be right with you" No apology for the wait time. She offered me a coffee instead of the Americano I paid for, then I thought I paid via card, but I paid cash. I ordered a triple shot over ice (my usual litmus test for coffee quality), and their espresso was very smooth without any bitter aftertaste, great pull. I also had their raspberry tea, also great! The cashier made a gesture implying she needed to hurry up, which felt unnecessarily dismissive especially when someone is simply trying to decide how they'd like to spend their hard-earned money. It's a shame, because local businesses thrive on positive interactions with their customers. Experiences like this make it much easier to understand why so many other coffee spots are opening throughout the AV and gaining loyal support. Needless to say, my family and I will be taking our coffee runs elsewhere moving forward.
