The "Made in America" coffee mug.

Great location being that it's in Dover and locals don't have to drive 45 minutes for real Starbucks anymore. Of course there is the kiosk in the Safeway if you count it, but a kiosk takes away from the experience. I was pleasantly surprised to find a Starbucks coffee mug for sale that was made in America. I bought it to support Starbucks efforts to buy and stock "Made in America" products. I don't mind paying a little more for my coffee and products if it means Americans have jobs and service workers get living wages. My wife's green tea latte tasted different. The barista explained that the mix was recently changed. She whipped up another drink as a replacement at no charge using the old mix recipe. Ask for the old sweeter recipe if you liked it. The new version is probably better for you since it's not all sugared up. Great service. Unfortunately I don't carry cash anymore and the app doesn't appear to allow tips anymore. We highly recommend this location. Not too hard to get in and out of unless you find yourself in the left northbound lane. If so, you have to do two u-turns to get back Northbound in the right lane to get in to Starbucks.

Finally a corporate Starbucks in Kent County. A little over a month old, has a drive thru (definite bonus!), free WiFi, Starbucks reserve coffee, breakfast, lunch/dinner, snacks. Get your stars people, one star per transaction, so unless you've got a deal for multiple drinks on one order, split those drink orders up to obtain those stars. The baristas understand.

It is as good as you would expect from a Starbucks. It is not as good as the local House of Coffi, but has great rewards programs.

I have a unique and new take to share. But first I want to say that this place is so ADORABLE and…read morethe owner is a very sweet woman. She's running the cafe by herself but has helpers on some occasions. Her menu is especially unique because, although it's mostly an American menu, it also has Mediterranean/Middle Eastern options. The food is always fresh and yummy and menu prices are super low. This place is an excellent option if you want a quick bite and your goal is to satisfy your hunger. Similar comments have already been made repeatedly in other reviews. But here's what might be a new take. Cobbleston Cafe's average rating should be at least 4.7 and above and I'll tell you why I think it's not. It's because people are ridiculous. Honestly. I read the other reviews and their expectations of a CAFE are incredibly nonsensical. You can't enter a cafe and expect a full kitchen. Cafes like Starbucks, Peet's Coffee and even Panera are much larger places and don't have full kitchens. We all know Starbucks is overpriced and often sell stale menu items. This place is incredibly affordable, has a LOT more to choose from, and is 1000% better because it's so much more fresh! It's a cozy and smaller place. There's a reason locals love this cafe because it's satisfying, fresh and is priced very fairly. Have the right expectations and you'll also be giving it 5 stars! And if you prefer supporting local businesses, please stop by Cobblestone Cafe and support this wonderful lady too.

Upon entering, the young woman showed us 2 cases of Hershey's ice cream, and one of fresh homemade ice cream, just made in-house. She also showed me another freezer chest with pints and quarts of other homemade flavors. I was definitely all about the homemade stuff. Got two scoops, Oreo and Peach! I had checked their social media to see posts about the fresh peaches they just got for the ice cream, it was really good! They post regularly, so check that out for their latest flavors! Loved the Oreo too... that was my toddler's favorite. Huge portions! I could not finish it all. My toddler liked the pictures on the walls, especially the posters of a kitten and a giraffe eating ice cream. Cheesy but adorable touch! The young woman who helped us was so kind and sweet... explained all the flavors and said we could sample if we weren't sure. She was in the middle of talking to us when some male employee appeared, took over in an authoritarian way, with no discussion with the woman, and just gave our total, like "where's the money" all brusque and pushy. That young woman was personable and deserves 10 stars; the guy was obnoxious. I wanted to tip the young woman but they don't let you do it with c-card, and I had no cash. So bring cash for tips! I didn't see Mommom... is she fictional or real? Or a spirit watching over us? Any which way, I'm happy I stopped, and will definitely visit again! Tip-- if you want lunch or dinner, stop at the Little Grocer nextdoor. They too have great reviews!

I settled on two scoops (absolutely huge scoops) a scoop of coffee Oreo and a scoop of monster (the blue at the top). I'm an ice cream lover and this did not disappoint. A super cute little gem of a place located in the heart of Dover. Super quaint and tucked away with…read moreplenty of on street parking, as well as a parking lot in the back. Tons of seating! Lots of intentional planning went into this design. There's an indoor bar, dining room, outside seating of all kind (under tent & not), as well as a bar that has garage doors that can open to the outside. There's corn hole and other things to do. This place is a vibe with a German touch! Plenty of beers on tap, as well as some clever cocktails! They even have beer cocktails that feature their drafts. Service was exceptional! We sat at the indoor bar as it was raining. Stephanie was terrific. Very attentive and friendly. Ordered two drinks...Drunk in Love (delicious), and Beerloma (delicious). Highly recommend both of these. They had lots of other seasonal options as well that sounded delightful. Nice to see a pub theme place also craft some great drinks for the non beer drinkers. We ordered the burger on a pretzel bun and the German Street Diner. Both absolutely delicious!!! Impressive that we have both food and drink on point! No notes. The fries are great too. Don't leave without the cinnamon and sugar pretzel bites with the Carmel and white icing dipping sauce! We got out to go. Don't leave without them. Awesome!!! Such a terrific find. Wish we lived closer. Well worth the stop! Not far off of Rt 1 on way to beach too! Don't skip this place! It's amazing.

Loved the concept and setting. The beverages came out fast and they were nice and cold. My wife had…read morea Strawberry Mimosa and I had a .5L Warsteiner German Pilsner. Both were tasty. The food was ok to sub sub par. My wife had the bratwurst sandwich and she enjoyed it very much. I had the schnitzel sandwich with a German Potato Salad side substituted for the fries. Well, I didn't care for the puddle of liquid that completely soaked the bottom of the sandwich bun - I had to pour it out onto the pan that it arrived on, and there were not enough napkins to keep my hands dry and clean. The pork schnitzel was over cooked, not pounded to make it tender, and the breading was dark brown, almost burnt. I was hungry so I ate it. To make matters worse, the potato salad was a fail fail fail. The fingerlings were good, but, like the sandwich, it was sitting in a pool of liquid. In this case it was oil. Tastless so it added nothing to the dish, and there was at least a 1/4" of it under the potatoes. To say it was unappetizing would be kind. I had to pour out the oil onto the pan. There is no excuse for a kitchen to make pair of mistakes like this. Sadly, no wait staff came by to check on us, which was probably a good thing. While the QR code thing is "cool" it cannot replace the customary service model where waitstaff takes the order, and either a runner or the waitstaff brings the meal, and checks in on the table at some point. I was taken aback that we had to include a tip before even seeing the food or the waitress. For a little background, my wife is a German citizen, but born here. I was a hospitality consultant for a few years. We both know what constitutes good food regardless of ethnicity. I have been to at least 5 beer gardens, and even more German and Swiss establishments. I have prepared many schnitzels, and many German potato salads. Aside from the oil slick the flavor was ok. It would have been better if they used a little of the bacon fat, together with some white vinegar and a little beef stock, as a dressing for the salad. This is really easy to make and hard to mess up, but somehow the kitchen didn't get it right. I didn't give it a one star rating because the beverages, the ambience, and my wife's sandwich was ok. I may come back at some point since we are often in Dover. But I will not be ordering the potato salad or the schintzel. To be fair, a second visit would have to be a game changer for me to not give a one star rating. Wishing you guys the best of luck. The place has potential but someone has to pay more attention to both the kitchen and the front of the house.
