Tall chestnut praline latte with almond milk, 1.5 pumps of syrup. Syrup is dairy free. / Nov. 2022
Emily L.

The Tall Man and I needed to make a quick pit stop off the Garden State Parkway. After realizing the closest Starbucks was drive thru only, we drove a couple minutes further and found this location in downtown Cranford. It's one of the nicer Starbucks I've been to, with a clean, spacious cafe area and friendly staff. Bathrooms are decently clean too, with a changing table. Even though things were moderately busy, the person who took our order made sure to verify that the chestnut praline syrup was dairy free. Our drinks and food were made quickly, and we were all set for the road trip ahead. I'll be making a mental note about this Starbucks in case we need another easy stop through Jersey.

Solid location, free parking in back and each seat has an outlet. It's not quiet but with noise cancelling headphones, I like this place! They have a great menu selection, quick turnaround and are pretty consistent. Occasionally they've gotten the size of drink wrong but the proportions are correct.

Your typical Starbucks! I always love the drinks here and all of their workers are super sweet. In fact, just the other day they didn't have the cold brew I ordered, so they subbed it for an iced coffee with a shot of espresso that tasted almost identical and gave it to me totally free. Some of my favorite drinks here are: -Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew (just as sweet as it sounds) -Iced Matcha Green Tea Latte (great, light flavor, with less caffeine) -Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew (only seasonal unfortunately, but the actual best thing I've ever tasted!) This particular location has good COVID measures too, with a separate side entrance for pickup orders with zero contact necessary. And all of the chairs are removed from the dining area so that people coming in to order have lots of space to spread out. They can get a little backed up with orders but I've never waited for more than ten minutes here. Will surely be back again soon.

I payed full amount but only got 80% of the coffee and there was no whipped cream! How careless! Disappointed!

I ordered a grande late and requested to add whipped cream on the top. But they didn't fill the coffee to the top and probably "forgot" the whipped cream. How careless! It didn't worth the money. Disappointed!

Before we ventured to the Cranford Fair that day, my father and I came in here for some lunch. I redeemed my two Gold rewards in favor of some Chicken Sante Fe Paninis. The person at the cash register who rung me out had a pleasant attitude. The waiting time for the sandwiches to come out were very minimal. For those who don't know what the Chicken Santa Fe sandwich is, it contains grilled chicken pieces, bell peppers, Pepper Jack Cheese and a spicy sauce on flat bread. When it's all toasted up, the cheese melts. As with any location, the sandwich tasted fresh and NOT overly spicy. This sandwich has always been a long time favorite. As far as drinks are concerned, we only got water since we had coffee in the morning. If we come again, maybe we'll get a coffee drink. But we also got a tube of Sea-Salted Chocolate Almond Bites to split on for dessert. As always, this was a sweet, tasty way to end a fine meal. "NOT Marvelous Madeleines" - It took me a while to realize that Starbucks changed their infamous Madeleines. We felt that the new version WASN'T marvelous because the size was smaller, the taste was too plain, and the price was the same. The old ones were bigger and had a better taste. This will be the last time I'll be buying that stuff from Starbucks. The place overall looked clean. The decorations looked modern. Several tables that were available were electrified with power outlets, which was convenient for those who wanted to charge up their laptops or other portable electronics. More importantly, the seats were comfortable, unlike the hard wooden ones at the Union location on US-22. Overall this is a very good location. We'll probably come back again.

Quaint and cozy, this corner Starbucks has three rows of tables and a dedicated counter with bar seating for Mobile Order pickup.

I have to update my review just because of the superb customer service i received today. I had to get a secret Santa gift and went here at 5:30am. Looking thru stuff and picked up an Espresso cup in a box didn't know it wasn't secured, long story short i broke it. I offered to pay and they said don't worry. Then i asked about Xmas ornaments and the manager said let me check the back. He said these our last years i think they will be free turns out they were discounted. Both the manager and supervisor were awesome made me buy more stuff than i wanted too. That's the consequences of great customer service!!! So made my day and wish i got both their names to give them a shout out!!

Typical Starbucks, baristas are friendly but deserves 3 out of 5 because it is tiny. Because of the size, finding a seat can sometimes be a challenge. If you manage to snatch one of the 6 comfy chairs you are in luck. It isn't a good Starbucks for studying or getting work done. When it gets busy, the line backs up onto the seating area. In terms of accessibility, bathrooms are accessible but very difficult to get to because they are located in the back and tables are packed so tightly makes maneuvering even a narrow manual wheelchair challenging.

I've been to this Starbucks location one time. I got the Mango Dragonfruit Tea With Lemonade. It tasted very good. I would try the actual tea next time!

For savory items, we ordered the tocino sausage and spamganisa sandwiches w/ egg added. My boyfriend thought the spamganisa needed some sort of kick like hot sauce, but we both agreed the tocino tasted better: it had a nice balance of sweetness and savoriness. For sweets, we ordered the caramelized honey butter toast and ube champorado croissant. The honey butter toast was aesthetically yummy, but was difficult to cut into and the bread tasted slightly overcooked so it was hard to bite into. However, the ube champorado croissant had a nice crunch and ube filling inside! The service was quick, the area where the cafe is located is nice and the decoration and lighting made the cafe very aesthetically pleasing. However, they do have limited seating, but if you go around the morning on a weekday, there might not be too many people which is nice if you're not into crowds. We would recommend: Tocino sausage sandwich, Ube and Leche Flan latte & Ube champorado croissant We would definitely come back to try out the other drinks and food options!

Seating is available, but we chose to take it to go. As for the goods, get ready to devour some of the best coffee/desserts you've ever had! I decided not be basic for once and pick something new. And I was not disappointed in the least! - The Cassava Latte "Inspired by the Filipino dessert cake, made with condensed milk and coconut. Contains dairy": Beyond amazing!! Sweet and uniquely flavored, I could go back for this guy day in and day out! It also made me want to try cassava cake because it's just so good. My friend got the ube latte which was okay, but if you want a supremely delicous latte, I'd try this guy out! - Ube Champorado Croissant: Flakey and buttery, with a generous amount of ube filling. Adult and child tested and approved!! Definitely takes your basic croissant to the next level! - Chocolate Kouign Amann: Perfect cheewy, flakey texture with just the right amount of chocolate. Not overwhelmingly sweet. This was probably my favorite of the two! If you haven't yet tried Ayala Coffee, you really should add it to your list! It's worth every penny!

I really loved the jelly donut. Tastes exactly like a jelly donut! The sticky rice has a nice coconuty caramel flavor despite having no caramel. The barista was so nice friendly. I live about 20 minutes away but I think I'll be making the drive to try more of the menu. This place turns into a brewery at night which I also want to try! Such a unique and fun business concept.

As a coffee snob, I would say it was very good. Our orders came out hot and fresh with huge portions. The lemon pancakes were plate size and with plenty of tasty crumble. My French toast consisted of four thick slices covered in plenty of berries and bananas. My sausage was cooked fresh and not sitting on a griddle for two hours. But every door that closes gives us an opportunity to go somewhere else. Cafe Teasia this arctic Sunday night during the fallow holiday period was surely spartan ,modest in size and devote. There was a fellow with a backwards baseball cap on speaking with another someone far away on a laptop, mimicking the illusion of companionship. Another pair playing at the same human game we all play at was doing it in person as a couple or couple to be or two who were to have but these evening. The beau or fella was brashly loud which soon grew charming as I recalled when I used to try to wow girls with tales of meditation tricks and bragging I'd be dead in 2031 when the next Avatar comes out (or the equivalent in my time). So here I was coming in out of the cold playing the same innocent game for human connection. I wish I could warn him that her politely laughing may not be a good sign! Or maybe assure him it is - ah, but who knows what love is or indeed even what fun is. All i know was the last joint wasn't putting out any such vibe. Ah the severance. So I got two coffees to go because that's what coffees are for. But I also got my first ever "bubblentea". The mango bubble tea had these little pearl-like bubble balls that mash like tiny grapes in your mouth. Delightful candified moment. But here's what I'll always remember. The second i walked in, the cashier warmly greeted me and welcomed me with but three patrons here on a Sunday night - and the heat was out. She wore a coat. I didn't remove mine. Our breathe was nearly white but you know what? Not nearly so cold an experience as the last joint.
