Swung by during the day on the weekend to go grocery shopping with my mom. Was in need of caffeine so stopped by Starbucks. This location had a steady stream of customers. The baristas were both friendly and got the drinks made in a timely manner. I got a PSL with an extra shot of espresso and less shots of pumpkin (don't like my coffee too sweet). The girls understood the assignment and my drink came out perfectly. Overall I liked stopping by this location and will continue to visit when I'm in town! read more

I stood at the cash register with no one else in line for several minutes, and not a single person acknowledged my presence. The drive-through was ridiculously long, so I went inside. People were working but not at any hurried pace. I left, saying I would take my money elsewhere, where they would want to keep it, and I finally received notice from an employee. This location is poorly run. They are out of ingredients on a regular basis, never have enough staff, and you have to announce you are at the drive through speaker or they won't know you are there. On Saturday 8/16 they were closed. Closed. On. A. Saturday. Morning. That can't happen. Here is a tip: over half your menu requires vanilla. Maybe try to keep more vanilla on hand so you don't run out on a regular basis. If you run out of an ingredient like vanilla, my suggestion is you have someone go to the gigantic Kroger store located 500 feet away from you and buy some. Or borrow some from the Starbucks inside that same Kroger store. I love the staff, they are super friendly, especially Craig. That guy is a hoot. read more

I've never had any issues with this location until recently. Went through the drive-thru on a Saturday night and there were only 2 people working? One employee was seen supposedly on break drinking coffee just in the corner near the window... digging in their nose and eating... well you know. Absolutely disgusting. Employees at the window took forever for one cold brew and a hot chocolate. What was the holdup? When we told them about the employee picking their noise they didn't even seem to care. Makes me think this is a normal occurrence here. Made me lose my appetite. Go to Kroger's Starbucks instead! read more

Drive thru was extremely long. Cashier messed up someone's order in front of us and re-made their drinks 3 times so it made our wait even longer. When we finally received our drinks, they were melted. I ordered the caramel ribbon crunch. Instead of holding up the line, I decided to go in so that others wouldn't have to wait on us. I re-order my drink. Waited for an extremely long time. I then go back over to the cashier and ask her what was taking so long. Just heard this morning the workers are on strike. Good. I hope this location shuts down. Staff is rude and caters to the drive thru, I've actually had an employee slam the window on me when I asked for extra sugar. Lol, ehat are they striking for? Overall pleasant experience at this location. Service was efficient and friendly. This is one of those locations that seems like the baristas actually like working there. Both the drink and brownie are what one expects from Starbucks. The brownies are pre-packed in plastic. They are then removed from the plastic, and put in the Starbucks paper bag. The cold brew was bold. Next time I will ask for light ice. The was a lot of ice left over at the end of my drink. Space inside is larger than I was expecting. For such a larger space, I'm surprised there isn't more seating. Much of the tables are high top tables. There is a "take a book, leave a book" shelf. There are also communal newspapers. Open tables that I checked were all dirty. I ended up wiping down the cleanest of the choices. read more

The store is dirty! The tables don't get wiped and the floor has never seen the mop. The traffic around Anderson Township Center is taking your life in your hands if you try the drive-through. Anderson Township has some of the rudest drivers I have ever had to steer away from. If you walked out of the store, you could be hit by a car pulling out of the drive-through. read more

Today I ordered a mocha to go. Unfortunately they did not put the lid on tight so the entire drink ended up in my lap on the first sip. After showering, changing clothes and cleaning up my car I went back to politely inform them of what happened. The girl apologized, but to my surprise she offered nothing else. While I didn't ask for anything, I think at a minimum it would have been appropriate to at least offer a replacement drink. I think additional training is needed in this store. read more

This Starbucks gets it right. As I watched this location be built, I was seriously scared. How in the heck were they going to pull it off? It doesn't matter because they DID it! The already extremely busy Anderson Towne Center did not need a Starbucks, in my opinion. Especially because there was one inside Kroger. However, the drive thru has saved my life quite a few times. I used to be obsessed with SB, then I took a few year hiatus. I'm back at it again and I'm so happy this location was built. It's basically perfect. It's so easy to get in and out of. The new technology on the drive thru menu is cool. The workers are nice and the drinks come out as they should. I love getting my Basic B fix here, bring on the Caramel Macchiatos. read more

This is a newer location and so far so good. The inside is fairly plain and cold, but clean. I ordered through the to-go app and it was ready very fast. The order was mostly correct, but the barista said it was for someone else until looking closer at the order and realizing my name was on it. Was disappointed because there was special running that weekend for PSL whipped cream, which I did not receive on my Frap. Did not see anywhere in the app that you had to request this, but maybe I missed it. Will try this location again if I am in the area. read more

Shoutout to Rebecca M. for reminding me to put in my review for the newest Starbucks near me. Complete with a drive-thru, this Starbucks has been a quick stop for an iced coffee after my early morning workouts at Crunch Fitness. Somehow the wait here is never backed up, unlike it's Starbucks right down the road which is always backed up to 125. I either run right through the drive-thru or place a mobile order before I leave the gym to run inside and pickup before I head home. Orders are always super fast, accurate and on-point in taste. I willingly have a Starbucks addiction and my gold card never expires with how often I'm at one so I love this new one they just built and can't wait to see what else pops up next to it at Anderson Towne Center. read more

I'll give this place a solid 4 stars for being a Starbucks. It's a Starbucks. It's in the suburbs which puts it a small notch down quality-wise from the typical urban one. But it's new and spacious and has a drive thru. You can get all your favorite Starbucks drinks here, including the PSL I am enjoying now (half-sweet of course). I have been a regular at Star Bucks since 2009. I use to visit the Beechmont location and was relieved and excited to have a location right by my house in Anderson with easy access to 5 mile. Those whom work at the Beechmont/Cherry Grove location engage with their customers and make them feel welcome. However, at this Anderson location, this is the worst Customer Service I have ever received. No engagement or even acknowledgement for that matter. For someone whom spends $200+ at an establishment per month and these employees see their customers on a regular basis, and not one of them acknowledge the customers; that's an issue. I feel awkward when I walk in there. I literally think to myself as I'm walking in, I wondering if anyone is going to even say a word-and nothing. I watch this happen to ALL customers! Mobile Ordering- you do not get a "Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening"- not a word. No- Thank You's, have a Good Day, nothing. God forbid they mess up a drink they made, attitude from them if they have to remake it. I have been frequenting this location since it opened in June and it's sad what I witness on a regular basis. This Starbucks continues to get it wrong every. time. The service is either average at best or really bad. Some of the baristas are very rude, especially the females. Each time I've ordered, my drink is either completely wrong like they forgot an ingredient or it tastes burnt. Either way, it's terrible! The last time I ordered the same drink for my husband and myself, one tasted normal and the other was awful! My husband went back inside to let them know and they just stared at him and asked how he paid. Then I came inside and I said we paid cash and I explained that we went through the drive-thru. She said nothing just proceeded to shove the cash back into my husband's hands. No apology, no offer to make a new one, and no free drink card. She said nothing. SO rude and not the best way to start your morning! I suggest going into the Kroger Starbucks or driving down the road to the next one.
