The customer service is terrible! I asked about merchandise that was from last season and should have been 50% discounted. I had just purchased one of the items at a different Starbucks the day before. The employee, she was sort of friendly, went to ask the manager about the price because the item was ringing up at full price. The manager was condescending and rude when she told me that item was not on sale. If she couldn't give me the discounted rate (unsure why not because literally just the day before the other Starbucks sold the same item at half off), there was no need for her to be snotty about it. After meeting the manager, it was easy to see why there is always a negative vibe in this store. I stopped coming here long ago because each time there was some negative experience--drink made wrong, employees loudly talking trash about fellow co-workers who were not there at the time, poor customer service. I returned to this location only because I was eager to find the seasonal item that was sold out everywhere else. I would have paid full price, but the manager was so nasty, I just left. There is another Starbucks just down the road (off of the 60 frwy), and the people there are friendly, welcoming, and on top of their game. Go to that one instead of this one. read more

I came to this Starbucks back in 2013 and it was a sh*t show There was a line to the door and I watched as the short black barista with curly hair try to sweep up a straw wrapper for about 7 minutes before going back to help make drinks The tall skinny ginger kid struggled to get a lid on the cup and knocked the drink all over the counter and looked at me as if I could do something about it Meanwhile the gay guy at the register was sassing people left and right and looked like he was going to drive off a cliff if he had to ask someone "what size" again The manager came out to help with the line but slipped on the spilled drink and did a flamenco number for about 2 hours before finally falling to the ground The supervisor at the oven told him now wasn't the time for his theatrics and forced him to get up and help get drinks out but it looked like she was just tossing whatever pastries into the oven and shouting random names into the lobby like "Kwassan" I go to use the restroom because it didn't look like they had the top brass working that day and the restroom (pic provided) looked like a law & order level 9000 crime scene and someone had written "don't order the peppermint mocha" on the mirror It had already been a horrible day because none of the 58 lotto tickets I bought were winners and my wife left me the night before because I wasn't good in bed and this store experience made it all worse Anyway I give this store 5 stars because at least they had some pizzazz read more

The customer service was great! Super phenomenal! I had the pleasure of meeting the little ginger man who complimented each and every customer and wished them all an amazing day. Everything was great and they made the drinks super fast as well. I took my order to go because I was actually ordering from this Starbucks since the Starbucks I went to twenty minutes ago gave me the wrong drink. So I had to get the right drink, but I think he may have had a mix up because instead of one extra shot it tasted like my drink only had one shot. So it was like water and vanilla in a cup. So that was disappointing. I had high hopes for this place because of the service and everything but the drink was wrong again. I'm sure in other circumstances they would've fixed it for me but I had already left and again it wasn't my drink I was getting. Still a super clean place and very nice service. Poorly made Coffee with a side of drama. I'm an avid Starbucks dribbler; it's my happy place in the a.m. Hadn't been to this location in a while and it's bad. Went in, I waited for a few minutes (totally fine). Overheard drama from one of the girls (she didn't have a name tag couldn't get her name), she was talking very loud how she had been scheduled to work at 9 one day and wasn't her time to work ever just because (the manager) didn't want her to attend and even because it would be weird. Finally got to order simple: 2 iced coffee, light heavy cream, 2 shots of sugar free vanilla. Getting them I knew they were wrong, gave the girl benefit of the doubt. Tasted like pure heavy cream. Looked at the tag they had added heavy cream and 1% milk. Ended up going back and they looked at me like I was wrong. Then more drama. There was a guy, previous girl who made my coffee, and someone named Becca (got her name from name tag) talking about how they didn't want some other girl to be transferred to this particular store. The same girl who made my coffee asked if I wanted to taste it, I politely declined since I was expecting it to be made correctly this time. Once again: tasted like pure heavy cream. I walked into the chino location on Riverside drive and mountain and was surprised to find that there were only two people in the store a lady at the register and myself. This was going to be quick and easy. NOT! I stood waiting for the cashier and the friend that she was helping talk for 7 minutes about school while I'm standing there waiting to place my order, mind you there is 5 people on staff literally standing around while I'm waiting to place my order. The customers transaction was complete so i waited and then one of the other workers opened the other register to finally acknowledge me. Order is placed and it took another 6 minutes to make my drinks because that person was also joining in on the conversation that was taking place behind the counter and center of the store. The owner or Management needs to do better with customer service and teaching their staff professional etiquette in a business. I will not be returning to this store ever. Do better. read more

Rarely come to this location and just remembered why! Brought my kids in for some Kiwi Starfruit lemonades, after 15 mins of waiting I ask my kid to go up and ask whats up with our drinks. The mouth breather that took our order says "awe sorry we don't have Kiwi" and mistakenly made a Dragon fruit drinks. F'kn drinks were sitting on the counter for the past 10 mins. 80% of the time when using Mobile order they don't even notice they have an order until after you get there and have been standing there for several minutes. After noticing the order they still take and make the orders of customers who arrived and placed their order after they pulled your mobile order ticket. This is one of my favorite Starbucks locations to go to. I really like how this place has lots of tables spread out throughout the store and they also have a big long table for people to share. Outlets are everywhere and the place is well lit, compared to other locations I've been to. The baristas here are all friendly and some of them really like talking throughout their whole shift. I don't mind it since it's just background noise for me, but I can see how it could annoy others. The cups of coffee I've bought here have always been good. I find that my coffee is always well balanced, unlike others I've had. They're really nice about heating up your pastries, too. On a few occasions, I've gotten free pastries from the workers here. I think by the end of the night (by like 9 or 10) they realized that I've been there LITERALLY all day, and they just give it to me. I thought that was so nice of them to do since 1) they really didn't have to and 2) it made my long day of studying end on a sweet note. The only thing I don't like about this location, hence the 4 stars instead of 5, is that this location is walking distance from a middle school. By the time 2-3pm rolls around, the store is FILLED with little kids drinking their Fraps. I don't mind kids, but damn there's a whole army of them that come and hang out for HOURS. Ridiculous. They bring their skateboards, scooters, and bikes and completely fill the store and the outdoor seating area. read more
