Generally, I am happy If I don't have to wait more than 5-7 minutes in a Starbucks to get my order. At that point I think it is a success and I don't really have to brag about how great it was, but today I do!! I was in and out of this Starbucks in about 5 minutes total and it was AMAZING! The ladies here were kicking major BUTT!! They were swamped with mobile orders but they were hustling around and no one could stop them. On 7th of this month Starbucks was giving out red reusable cups for free with orders of certain beverages. I struggled with whether or not to buy it since the beverages are all over 400 calories!!! I have been to and ordered from Starbucks in every neighborhood I have been in and almost every city I have visited. With the exception of the negative news that plagued Starbucks in 2018, I have never had any complaint for Starbucks service, food or beverages. However, today, I am truly irritated. I ordered their pastrami sandwich and Latte. The serving of pastrami was so minimal that I removed one slice of bread and folded the other piece of bread in half. The plethora of independent coffee shops in Chicago are not evenly or even randomly distributed across the metropolitan area. Sometimes you just have to go to a national chain. This Starbucks is usually very busy, the spacing is cramped, the parking lot has almost as much conflict as Colombo street traffic. A dangerous proportion of automobile drivers in this lot are apparently hunting for bicyclists with homicidal lust. Often the whole store is taken up by a line, it's not a great place to try to get some work done. But if you've got a coffee jones around here, it's your only port in the proverbial storm. STAY AWAY FROM THIS STARBUCKS! This is the WORST Starbucks in the country folks. If you have hours to kill, want your clothes to reek, feel like driving circles around a strip mall for 30 minutes only to find out you won't be able to exit said strip mall after spending hours TRAPPED in said smelly (in a bad way) Starbucks - sure, venture to the Sauganash Starbucks. I stop by Sunday mid afternoon and had a good experience. The guy at cashier wasn't the most friendly person. But the barista she totally was so nice & very helpful. I asked about a Pike roast coffee she really nice & so knowledgeable & offer a sample which tasted so good. One thing I would suggest if you coming east down Peterson turn at the light rather than off Peterson. It makes alot easier getting into parking lot since off of Peterson entrance can be very tight. :) read more

Avoid in the weekday/am when an employee named Ardyn is working. She is rude, flippant, and has a severe attitude. She is a barista and always gets behind on orders. She backs up the orders in the morning and then gets rude with the customers when after waiting 15 minutes they inquire about their orders. Very disappointing. read more

So I drink my fair share of coffee and have certainly been a many Starbucks! This location I have always found to be quick, and have had great service. In the summer they have outdoor seating, which is there in the winter but not as many seats. They have moved furniture around on the inside a few times but it is cozy and good place to sit and chat in the neighborhood or go and do work if you want a quiet place. The spot itself is in a little lot where parking is free. I live in the neighborhood, so I see the people often and it is nice to have a place that is walking distance and one that I have certainly always had good service and even when I have asked them to do something off menu they were more than happy. In fact most of their staff that have waited on me have been polite and even funny sometimes! They do have great customer service something that I think is very important! read more

This has to be one of the most unfriendly starbucks that I Have ever Experienced. the girls that work in there love to roll their eyes and make Fun of customers. the employees seem to have a low morale and you Are treated like a second class citizen. My wife and I live in Sauganash Village right next door, and literally drive to the Pulaski Lawrence or Devon central store to get our coffee. WiFi has reliable speed and doesn't seem to take any performance hits by the number of people logged in. First of all, I'm a complete jackass because I left my wallet here this morning. Get to Milwaukee for Summerfest, go to check in at the hotel--no wallet. Panic mode. Call Starbucks and guess what?
