I purchased a beverage here today 10/5/22 to take to my daughter while in the hospital and when she got to the bottom of the beverage she noticed that the entire top part of Im assuming what looks like the top of a whip cream bottle?!!! Seriously guys?? I had to place one star because it wouldn't me allow to place no stars. This is the type of service you provide? It's careless and inappropriate and disgusting!

This particular Starbucks location services Northwestern Hospital, it's staff and patients. So with that said, it is a no nonsense spot to grab a coffee and keep moving. There was a short line which gave me time to observe. There were people trying to restock, which kind of made it difficult for the others to assist customers. It all seemed a bit bumbling. I watched the woman on the register assist 3 people in front of me. No smile, no good morning, no greeting at all. I did not hear a thank you either. When it was my turn, I ordered a simple black coffee, paid with my phone and moved along. She did mumble a greeting and seemed relieved that I knew what I wanted. I know it is probably not a lot of fun but maybe try to fake it. I was glad I was not a problem customer and helped make her day just a bit easier. Word to the staff - since you are inside the hospital, your customers may have just gotten bad news or are filled with anxiety waiting to see their doctor. A touch of warmth can go a very long way.

Always an issue with my drink. Today I received my $5.50 matcha half full of foam aka half empty. Employees have places to be, we can't complain and wait around for a new one to be made. Great start to my day Starbucks.

Slowest service ever.. the so-called barista was very rude. No greeting, no smile, and slower than a snail. How do you expect to get a tip with that attitude? If I can rate no stars, I would.

Wow! Why can't Chicagoans get more 24/7 Starbucks locations? A rare sight, thank your late night baristas!

But they have other types of merch to buy. There are elevators and escalators to get to each level. It's a bit dizzying. Drinks (4/5): Normal Starbucks drinks. Nothing special. This location is not what is used to be and has gone downhill in recent years. The staff they hire have gone downhill. Certainly not on par with the prices they charge, nor for the pretentious experience they are trying to create. Today 5/17/26, I ordered 4 items to-go at the Cafe Lavazza station on the first floor: three food items and a drink. I got home, and realized one of my items was missing. My immediate thought was the cashier did not bag my 4th food item. I was also open to the idea that maybe she never even rang the 4th item up but since they did not give me a receipt I wasn't sure. I only had my bank charge amount. So, around 12p, I called and asked for a manager. An AA female manager got on the phone and right away gave the lazy vibe that she was irritated, and bothered that she had to help a customer. I explained that I was missing an item but wasn't sure since I was not handed a receipt. I further explained that I was open to the fact that maybe it was never rang up, and that I was hoping she could check my receipt to tell me either way. She finally found my receipt, in an annoyed manner told me the 4th item was never rung up, THEN hung the phone up on me. I was shocked - but not really because as I mentioned, Eataly's recent hires have gone downhill. I was disappointed to experience a "manager" behave this way. This sorry excuse for a manager is the reason I will never frequent that station again. Eataly do better and please hire intelligent, capabable, and helpful managers in the future. And get rid of that one.

It was early Sunday afternoon, and we were too large a group to arrive without calling ahead. You walk up a lovely old half-flight of stairs under an ornate ceiling. After a short wait, half of our party went elsewhere, and the remaining four of us were quickly seated. The front area is mainly a café, with maybe 10 seats at tables for two. Farther back is a hallway and a larger room with seating in booths and at high-tops for maybe 40, and maybe 6 more at a small bar. The staff is quick and friendly. The food is delicious and fresh and hot! And the music is loud and festive :-) We had the thin-cut savory palomillo steak, a generous serving, pounded to tenderness, served with classic wet black-beans and white rice, sweet soft platanos maduros plantain pieces, and some greens and tomato. We had a lovely colorful medium-sized Mojo Shrimp in tart garlic citrus mojo sauce, with sateed red onion crescents, tomato chunks, and parsley. And we had the huge slow-cooked tender shredded-beef Ropa Vieja pressed sandwich, sauced lightly with slightly-tangy creole sauce, served with platanos maduros and black beans.
