I went into Starbucks today to have a study session with my friend. My friend ordered a grilled cheese and they burnt it. She then had to PAY for a DIFFERENT sandwich. Update: There is one older woman here who works the drive thru who is outstanding and another younger girl as well. The rest of the staff pretty much stinks as far as personality and demeanor go. Also when you mobile order you should be put in the line with the drinks. SEVERAL times I have seen them ignore mobile orders when it's busy and when I ask why people who ordered AFTER me got their drinks first I'm told they're doing them I order. Well well well there's a time stamp on my order so that's a blatant lie. Once I ordered my drink at home via the app (a cold brew at that), drove to the store, and waited 30 mins for my drink. So 45 mins for a cold coffee that is already brewed with water added?!?! Yeah I don't think so. If the store is crazy busy the times give. When you mobile order should be adjusted accordingly. I like this location. It's super busy on weekends but they always have a large amount of staff on hand so you never really have to wait long. Drinks have all been correct and the place is clean. This is my first time visiting this Starbucks and I must say that for the area that it is in, I am very disappointed. It is 11:58am on a Sunday morning and it is atrocious! This place looks like it hasn't been swept in a few days. There is food particles all over the chairs, floors and tabletops. New renovation is so bad! The more I look around and sit here the more I feel like they purposely designed the sitting area to make your stay so miserable that you don't want to stay. The bench seats are too high, the round tables to it are too low. Makes for awful ergonomics. When you lean back, the back pad to the bench seating only comes up to at best your mid back, then your upper back hits a very large, stationary framed art that is hard and uncomfortable. It's not like I'm tall either, I'm 5'-3" and have to hunch down and I can't even lean back. There is no longer any comfy furniture. Everything is this awful wooden furniture that is not fit for people to work at with a laptop. Now for the countertop where they make your drinks, it is completely open to the public. Sneezes, coughs, touching things and all. Gross!! I am not the only person to feel this way either. When it first reopened, another lady expressed her disappointment as well. I gave it another try today and it's so bad. They need new furniture and to put some sort of plexiglass or some kind of barrier that is at least as high as their equipment between their working environment and the general public. This Starbucks appears to be an outlier. I paid for my drink, and walked away with two of them. Sure that's great, but after I'd taken a sip of the drink they said was mine, my actual order came up. Checked the label of the one I sipped, and it was for a drive-thru order. I'm all about freebies, but not at the expense of efficiency and quality control. read more

I love it here! I live about seven minutes from this Starbucks location, which is really convenient. I am currently preparing to take the GRE, and I come to this Starbucks to study. Great atmosphere! It's not as busy as compared to other Starbucks within the Richmond area. I believe this is a much bigger Starbucks than the one that is on Brad McNeer Parkway. Unlike that other location, this one has a big seating area. Plus, the staff here is very pleasant! There is some outdoor seating as well. Chris at this site is amazing. I had tried to order thru Uber and kept getting a decline b/c there was no one in the area to deliver. I called the store and Chris answered and said to try again b/c that happened sometimes. It was rejected again and called the store again and I told Chris it was a friend's birthday and she was leaving the gym down the street and could pick up her order but wanted to give him my cc info over the phone. He said they couldn't do that there but because it was her birthday he would make it for free! I know she has stopped there several times before and I know why he keeps going there. So last Friday night my FIOS was knocked out as a result of those crazy electrical and thunderstorms. I arrived around 9:30 sat in my vehicle while soaking up their free WiFi. I have always been a fan of Starbucks but there always seems to be an issue. I have a dairy allergy and i can only get one drink with my soy options i know there is more but its not on the menu. Also whenever i get my drink sometimes they do mess it up and it doesn't just happen to me. When I went one day with my daughter, I was disgusted when I saw the barista preparing the breakfast sandwiches - beard not covered, hair not covered, and no gloves! Also, it seems all Starbucks only have one trash can at a location?? Only one trash can in the entire inside of the café,and then NO trash can if you sit outside! I love this Starbucks and always go here but this morning they disappointed me by giving me the wrong tea that I ordered. Honey citrus mint tea is what I asked for which includes tevana peach and citrus mint tea bags rather than what I got which I believe is the citrus defense tea which is not good to me. I get a simple double espresso every day. Unfortunately I stopped at the store thinking it was a nice cute store. They made my drink wrong then when I asked why is the milk incorrect they just substituted it instead of letting me know. This is the most convoluted Starbucks drive-thru I have ever seen. Depending on which entrance you come in you may have to circle a very large sewage/drainage pond to get in and out of it, and no matter what entrance you go in you'll have to circle the large strip mall building to get both in and out of the drive-thru. If its busy watch out- they'll run out of items, the person taking your order won't know, and when you get to the window, your order hasn't even been started because now you have to choose again. God forbid you get a huge SUV with a gaggle of children in it in front of you when the order takers don't know what's going on. It will amount to a crazy wait in line with no way to drive your car out of the line if its taking too long. Ridiculous place. read more
