For how touristy Cancun is, I was shocked how few Starbucks there were near La Zona Hotelera. I was craving a nice walk and figured I would walk the 30 minutes over to this Starbucks for my beloved iced green tea. I believe they open at 7:30 but there are conflicting signs at the store as well as online, so I would call or just risk it if you're feeling adventurous. They are located in the middle of a super cool outdoor mall, right across from the McDonalds. The store inside and out is very clean and organized they have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, both tables and couches. Only thing that would make it better would be to have misters outside because even though it's 8am it's HOT outside. So it feels nice they have the AC cranked all the way inside. They have 3 different types of Starbucks mugs for those collectors out there ( guilty). They have a Mexico one that I ended up buying because it was WAY cuter. They have one for Cancun and for Tulum, but neither of those really stood out. Menu is pretty standard with a few different items unique to Mexico. The chorizo panini is so delicious. Tastes like real spicy chorizo unlike the fake stuff back home!

This Starbucks was in a highly commercialized area in Cancun. They had shops and restaurants around that you would find in the states. The staff was definitely fast and efficient. They only spoke Spanish so I'm glad I had my interpreter with me.

Finding a Starbucks in another country is a great adventure when your a coffee addicted like myself! I collect the "Where we are Mugs" so this location was on my bucketlist! The Starbucks is a chain so inside was like any other Starbucks you see but it was just nice to be able to get a coffee during my trip. They do have different frappe to try, I got the cookies and cream, it was pretty amazing. There are a few desserts that are different from the states. I picked up the berry cheesecake and the pan de queso. The store was really clean and the customers were really nice was a great experience and I was so happy to take on my Cancun mug!!

Caramel Macchiato is yummy for the tummy.

Friendly baristas, plenty of seating inside and outside, efficient (fast), and clean. A nice break from shopping!

Very different than the states

I am in love with the Chiapa coffee, smooth and not to strong. I don't think I have seen this brand in the states. This place is fast and the people working here are nice. The location is in the las Dorado shopping center and they do close late which is great.

I got my usual white chocolate mocha. You'll be amazed how many tourists are in this store getting their drinks. Great customer service.

Very nice to have a great American style latte in Mexico. A good place to stop before a fun day of tour ahead.

Like I said above the ice shaken espresso was totally different from the version that I'm used to United States, but it was uniquely good in its own way. So I definitely give them four stars. The customer service is really good as well. The inside seating is very nice to relax as the AC is ice cold, which is good because it gets very hot in Cancun. So we were able to cool off drink some coffee and relax. I'm a huge fan of Starbucks so I will always give them a shot if I can find them when I'm traveling. Once again, if you like Starbucks , stop and give them a shot, he will not be disappointed.

Thank god for Starbucks - providing us with free WiFi in a country where I would have had to pay…read moreroaming charges. There is indoor and outdoor seating - indoor is air conditioned and a little noisier. Outdoors you can sit on the wicker furniture and watch the tourists walk by around you. Unfortunately, Starbucks in Cancun do accept your Starbucks gift cards, but do not give you any stars/rewards in return. You also cannot redeem any free drinks or contribute to a Star Dash or promotion like Starbucks for Life with purchase. They do have their own app in Mexico, but not sure of how to activate it versus my US version. I wanted to try something different that I couldn't get in the US, such as the Mexican Hot Chocolate. Nothing really caught my eye so I ordered a cold brew. It tasted so different from the cold brew I am used to - not sure if they use a different coffee bean or what. Additionally, I was super intrigued by the food display case, so I ordered pan de queso, similar to the cheese bread you would find at a Brazilian steakhouse. They were a little powdery for my tastes, but still super chewy and delicious, flavor-wise. Overall, a great stop for a coffee recharge and some WiFi usage!

A tub of mango, pineapple, or watermelon was only two dollars each! They also had a lot of baked goods that looked yummy and a small food court. I also tried the flan, which was very delicious and not too sweet (which is how I like it). Overall, great grocery store! I would definitely recommend checking it out if you are in the area.

Gigante super mercado! This supermarket is huge!…read more This big supermarket has everything you'll need for a beach holiday! It's a regular supermarket, but I suspect that the locals don't shop here at all. The prices are pretty high, and much of the food isn't quite practical. This is a two story grocery store- not counting the parking. Be sure that you don't miss the top floor, where all the liquor and food hall is. Nom! Parking is on the bottom floor. They sell you validation at the cash register. Beware- the grocery bagger is looking for tips. My favorite part of the supermarket is all the cheap Mexican gifts they sell, with clearly marked prices. Actually, many of them are cheaper than the flea market down the way, because you don't have to haggle and deal with the cat calls from the clerks. Beware of the touts selling excursions and whatnot at the entrance. Just because they're in a supermarket doesn't mean they can't take advantage of gringos. This supermarket gets awfully busy in the afternoon. The aisles are narrow. It's best to come at an off time.
