I know a lot of people don't like big box companies like Starbucks, but this was my only choice in our terminal at the airport. I remember when Starbucks started, I remember when they exploded and expanded with locations everywhere! Many cities will have four or five within a half mile radius. I've been drinking coffee at Starbucks from way back when until now and I've had their coffee drinks in multiple countries; I'll have to say the quality is always consistent.

This is an insanely busy Starbucks inside the Mexico airport in Cancun. The line never dropped below 10 people for the two hours I sat here and they continued to churn out the coffee for thirsty folks without issue. Standard options but fair prices - nothing overpriced here like the NYC airport Starbucks ($15 turkey sandwiches, hello?!?).

When you have to leave vacation and be at the airport at 5:30am, Starbucks is a must. The line was long but I had hours to kill. It's a freestanding location that sits in the middle of the airport. All the employees were very friendly. The music playing was great. There was plenty of seating. It was fun to visit Starbucks in Mexico because the menu was different from what is in the states. They had a lot more food options as well. I stuck with one of my favorite drinks. You can never go wrong with a flat white. All the food was being prepared as it was being ordered. In the USA it's frozen and tossed in a warmer. I found that interesting. The line moved quickly and that was appreciated. I would definitely not let a long line turn you down from stop

A pretty standard Starbucks living in an airport with a coffee problem. I realize coffee isn't as big of a thing in Mexico. The looks I got from servers at my all inclusive resort throughout the week, as I begged them to fill my thermos with a to-go coffee (after already enjoying a cup or two with breakfast) led me to that conclusion. THAT being said, this international airport literally has one option for a cup of joe! That one option being this Starbucks. We had a 9am flight. Got there the recommended two hours or so before. After checking our luggage, printing our boarding tickets, going through security... we had about an hour to spare before boarding started. While I wanted to embrace my inner impulse shopping, perusing overpriced souvenirs I definitely didn't need-- coffee took priority. IT TOOK THE ENTIRE 60 MINUTES to get our drink. That line is serious! The Starbucks itself is solid. Has all the must-haves. Service was fine, pricing was fine. It all was fine. So travelers with a coffee habit, you've been warned! Get your coffee fix before you go to this airport, or know if your flight is in the morning-- you will be waiting in line awhile.

As you might know, in general a Starbucks is a Starbucks. And generally I'm not all that interested. But, I needed morning coffee to take my pills, I have become intimate with Montezuma this week, and I just needed some coffee. So here I am. They don't take the Starbucks app. Otherwise I might have bumped them up to 4 stars. Their pastries are similar but different in Mexico. Instead of cake pops, they have tarts. And so on.

I took off a star because I was disappointed that they didn't take the Starbucks card, and there was also no option for order ahead or mobile order at all even though this location was in my Starbucks app saying it's a nearby location. It appears that they have the infrastructure but chose not to implement it. It's also an extremely long line to order your drinks, and it's also blocking traffic because people will line up and not want to miss their turn which makes it harder for you to get to your gate. I eventually got to the counter after 30 minutes standing in line -- I got lucky because our transportation company suggested we get to the airport 4 hours in advance and I had the time to wait. If you're in a hurry, forget it. The service was good when I reached the counter and they were quick with making the drinks. I think that the airport location should have upgraded and the latest infrastructure to not only keep up with the demand but it'll move a lot smoother especially since the baristas were quick and efficient with crafting these drinks. It'll be better than just two registers occupied. I'll recommend this place if you have time to kill, it's nothing special, still the same old Starbucks you can get anywhere. The conversion is on par with what I typically pay for in Chicagoland. If you are trying to use the app, skip this. It's located in terminal 3 after you get through security, across from Sushi Tequila and right by one of the American Airlines gates. I ordered a grande iced caramel macchiato with almond milk. They also spelled my name correctly because I was able to show the barista my credit card.

Its Starbucks... at the airport in Cancun. But you can get things here not available in the US - Pan de Queso... Yummy. They are friendly and if you forgot to get a souvenir for someone back home... a Starbucks cup from Mexico could be fun. Try some of the local pastry options and it will be a place to give you the Starbucks flavor that you are used to getting back in the states.

Worst Starbucks ever!!!!!! Avoid at all costs! The line up is horrendous :( The cashier does not speak any English nor do the workers behind the counter so I was stuck with my cell phone trying to translate Word for Word what I wanted to drink. I ordered a mocha coffee and instead I got some kind of vanilla flavoured latte perhaps they gave me someone else's order or they just made the order by mistake and did not want to throw it out and gave it to me. the worst part is The prices are insanely high compared to any usual Starbucks you go to in the states even the airport is not that expensive nor at the regular franchise companies in Canada. For 1 Vente coffee, I ended up Paying about $10 US this was ridiculous super expensive be careful do not even waste your time the lineup was extremely long as well took me about 15 to 20 minutes wait until I was being served. I just think the staff don't understand what people want or order and screw up their orders as a result which takes way longer to correct every order at a time Very dis-organized and just plain illiterate! I am a Starbucks customer and even have the app on my phone which had a few dollars unfortunately I couldn't even use it here. This was insanely obnoxious as they wanted only cash or credit you were not allowed to use the pre-loaded Starbucks dollars from your app. Overall, I will never step foot at the Starbucks coffee joint again I rather drink water from the fountain then spend US$10 for one coffee! No thanks avoid!

The airport was so cold this morning there was a bigger line at Starbucks than in the TSA line!! The wait was about 15 minutes. I was in Seattle last week and was informed that a "good" turn around time is under 5 minutes. The baristas were pleasant but understaffed. I ordered lattes and a Three Cheese Panini. The flavor and style were the same. Enjoyed my latte. Recommend

Glad to see there are 2 at the airport at arrival and departure. They have a nice seating area if you have to wait for your flight. The prices and taste are about the same as in the USA

Easy least, just like all Starbucks. I ordered a Venti Caramel Frap. Very fast and they are very busy. Lots of seating, outlets for charging, cushioned couch and chairs. Souvenir cups and regular Starbucks cups for purchase. All English was spoken clearly.

Like I said above the ice shaken espresso was totally different from the version that I'm used to United States, but it was uniquely good in its own way. So I definitely give them four stars. The customer service is really good as well. The inside seating is very nice to relax as the AC is ice cold, which is good because it gets very hot in Cancun. So we were able to cool off drink some coffee and relax. I'm a huge fan of Starbucks so I will always give them a shot if I can find them when I'm traveling. Once again, if you like Starbucks , stop and give them a shot, he will not be disappointed.

Thank god for Starbucks - providing us with free WiFi in a country where I would have had to pay…read moreroaming charges. There is indoor and outdoor seating - indoor is air conditioned and a little noisier. Outdoors you can sit on the wicker furniture and watch the tourists walk by around you. Unfortunately, Starbucks in Cancun do accept your Starbucks gift cards, but do not give you any stars/rewards in return. You also cannot redeem any free drinks or contribute to a Star Dash or promotion like Starbucks for Life with purchase. They do have their own app in Mexico, but not sure of how to activate it versus my US version. I wanted to try something different that I couldn't get in the US, such as the Mexican Hot Chocolate. Nothing really caught my eye so I ordered a cold brew. It tasted so different from the cold brew I am used to - not sure if they use a different coffee bean or what. Additionally, I was super intrigued by the food display case, so I ordered pan de queso, similar to the cheese bread you would find at a Brazilian steakhouse. They were a little powdery for my tastes, but still super chewy and delicious, flavor-wise. Overall, a great stop for a coffee recharge and some WiFi usage!
