They offer "American coffee", cappuccinos, espressos and other permutations of coffees. But here's the tip: they use the same professional espresso machine to make your "American" coffee" as they do to make the more expensive espressos and cappuccinos, so order yourself the American. I would buy milk in the Royal Market (also located in the hotel) and make myself 3 coffees out of the one large that I bought. Plus, it was really good coffee!

It's a regular supermarket, but I suspect that the locals don't shop here at all. The prices are pretty high, and much of the food isn't quite practical. This is a two story grocery store- not counting the parking. Be sure that you don't miss the top floor, where all the liquor and food hall is. Nom! Parking is on the bottom floor. They sell you validation at the cash register. Beware- the grocery bagger is looking for tips. My favorite part of the supermarket is all the cheap Mexican gifts they sell, with clearly marked prices. Actually, many of them are cheaper than the flea market down the way, because you don't have to haggle and deal with the cat calls from the clerks. Beware of the touts selling excursions and whatnot at the entrance. Just because they're in a supermarket doesn't mean they can't take advantage of gringos. This supermarket gets awfully busy in the afternoon. The aisles are narrow. It's best to come at an off time.

Here, you can grab morning muffins, mini sandwiches, cups of coffee, various Mexican sodas, etc... It's nothing overly remarkable, but in a pinch it's been a rock star for fast sustenance. They also have lots of flavors of Fanta and Fresca which I've been drinking from here like they're going out of style. Two of my favorite things to consume while in Mexico!
