Pro tip: There are *two* Starbucks locations inside Terminal 3 at Cancun International Airport…read more("CUN"). After going through security and the duty free shop, if the Starbucks at the central food court is busy, go left down the terminal towards Gate C4. There, you'll find Terminal 3's second Starbucks, which is much less busy. I wasn't able to find this Starbucks on several different versions of CUN's airport map, but it's there. This review is for that location. Note: There are about six or seven Starbucks locations inside CUN. They're spread throughout the airport, inside and outside security. After getting through security at 9:34 AM on an ordinary Thursday, the Starbucks at the food court inside Terminal 3 had a very long line. My wife found the "hidden" location, described above, and there was no line. I had an Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso, Grande size (16 fluid ounces), for 119 pesos. It was cold, sweet, creamy, and refreshing. It hit the spot. The coffee flavor was good and the drink wasn't too strong. My wife, who is a Starbucks connoisseur, noticed the Mexican menu was a little bit different than the American menu. Service was good. We were served by a male barista, but the name that was printed on the receipt was a female's name, Alegria. I give this Starbucks 3.5 stars rounded up to 4.

A very busy location since it's one of the only options for coffee in the immediate area…read more The cashier was pleasant. All the pastries looked wonderful. They had a crew of five, and it still looked like they were unable to keep up. Waited a good twelve minutes to receive two iced lemonade refresher drinks, and a matcha latte. The lemonade drinks were not flavorful, and tasted more like watered down drinks. Check your drinks before walking away. Or else you'll have to line up again to have it remade.

Like I said above the ice shaken espresso was totally different from the version that I'm used to United States, but it was uniquely good in its own way. So I definitely give them four stars. The customer service is really good as well. The inside seating is very nice to relax as the AC is ice cold, which is good because it gets very hot in Cancun. So we were able to cool off drink some coffee and relax. I'm a huge fan of Starbucks so I will always give them a shot if I can find them when I'm traveling. Once again, if you like Starbucks , stop and give them a shot, he will not be disappointed.

Thank god for Starbucks - providing us with free WiFi in a country where I would have had to pay…read moreroaming charges. There is indoor and outdoor seating - indoor is air conditioned and a little noisier. Outdoors you can sit on the wicker furniture and watch the tourists walk by around you. Unfortunately, Starbucks in Cancun do accept your Starbucks gift cards, but do not give you any stars/rewards in return. You also cannot redeem any free drinks or contribute to a Star Dash or promotion like Starbucks for Life with purchase. They do have their own app in Mexico, but not sure of how to activate it versus my US version. I wanted to try something different that I couldn't get in the US, such as the Mexican Hot Chocolate. Nothing really caught my eye so I ordered a cold brew. It tasted so different from the cold brew I am used to - not sure if they use a different coffee bean or what. Additionally, I was super intrigued by the food display case, so I ordered pan de queso, similar to the cheese bread you would find at a Brazilian steakhouse. They were a little powdery for my tastes, but still super chewy and delicious, flavor-wise. Overall, a great stop for a coffee recharge and some WiFi usage!
