Iced macchiato
Rufus S.

I had the most delicious iced macchiato and the service was amazing. I went to Starbucks with some friends and let me tell you the environment they have is so calming and fun that I could do all my work in there

I went into this Starbucks yesterday and had a really great experience.. I come to this Starbucks often and it's always a pretty good experience (the only thing I don't like is that sometimes it's randomly closed, idk why that is) anyhoo. When I went two days ago it was extra pleasant. The staff was super friendly and kind. They were efficient and helpful. We had a large order and they executed it quickly and correctly! No mistakes lol. They also offered us a sample of the toffee drink (which was really good btw. Very sweet but tasty!) I wanted to specifically acknowledge someone's customer service but I forgot her name. But she had blonde hair and she was slim and brown skin. Very personable. Also the playlist was great. I loved the vibe this day and I just wanted to give share

Black tea lemonade

Basic Starbucks run on a Thursday afternoon during covid. Mostly empty, the baristas were really nice, they were chatting with the few customers there. Seemed like a friendly establishment. Got a black tea lemonade. Can't really mess that up.

Based on the recommendation of my chiropractor, I had lunch here earlier this week. Our server from…read moreMoldavia was friendly and attentive and suggested I try their most popular dish - the lamb lulya kebab which is ground lamb that is not overly spiced to allow one to taste the meat. It is served with rice and I found it to be a lighter than its Turkish equivalent. It was served with rice. We also ordered Turkish bread that was served warm. The dining area is comfortable and welcoming. Because this restaurant is set back from the Coney Island Avenue next to a liquor store it is easy to miss - but don't - it's excellent!

I ordered the Journey to Baku salad, the Turkish bread, and the Guru Khingal. The salad needed a pinch of salt, but there was a shaker on the table and with that addition, it was a decent refreshing appetizer. It's sort of a spread so I would recommend ordering some bread to eat with it. The bread came out steaming hot and smelling amazing. It was soft and fluffy on the inside and delicious. I took the extra home and ate it all immediately when I got there. Delicious bread. The Guru Khingal is honestly one of the best things I've ever eaten in New York City. I wasn't sure exactly what to expect, as I have never eaten this type of food before. The tender, handcut pasta seems to be layered with flavorful lamb fat like the most decadent possible buttered noodles and the ground lamb topping is rich and perfectly seasoned. The yogurt sauce gives the dish balance. It's a fairly large portion that could easily be shared between two. I highly recommend this spot, the glowing reviews are not exaggerating at all. I often like to try new and unusual restaurants, and sometimes I enjoy them mostly for the novelty. That was not the case at Village Cafe. My meal here was delicious and I am eager to return, even with the 75 minute commute from north Brooklyn.

The people who work there were pretty friendly. Male employee who made my coffee wore a mask but they 2 others didn't. I think they should make a rule to have it on during the entire shift. I know it's hard to breathe but, being safe is a priority. They serve pasteries and baked goods but were stored in a case. I would rather be more willing to purchase if they were individually wrapped just for sanitary reasons. I hope this changes since we live at a time of the pandemic. Thank you for staying open and keeping Brooklyn awake with your wonderful brew!

It should be listed in…read moreWikipedia under "Cargo Cult" because it has the trappings of the original coffee shop such as the big Chock full o'Nuts sign over the entrance and the Chock full o'Nuts label on the little coffee grounds bag that the "barista" scoops out of. But it is very telling that coffee is served in generic plain paper cups without the Chock Full o'Nuts design on them. And if you ask for the famous Chock Full o'Nuts Nutted Cheese Sandwich, the South Asian man behind the counter will always say it will be back on the menu next month. All this place has are sad looking muffins, scones and breads. The place is dirty with broken tables and it smells worse than the bathroom of a rundown gas station. Do not go to this place for coffee. The 7-11 across the street is better.
