The manager is EXTREMELY rude. There are way better ways to tell people dogs are not allowed than to raise their voice with MULTIPLE customers and cause a scene. Either say it kindly or put a sign on the door. Definitely not fit to be a manger if that is how they act towards customers. Go here quite often. Giving it 5 stars as I enjoy the staff Monday through Friday. Nice people who make great coffee! Saturday and Sunday is a hit or miss. Always new people, and have felt uncomfortable with some of the interactions. Just this past weekend on Sun I was ordering and the guy kept cutting me off as I was talking very rudely like he was annoyed with me... yelling HOLD ON HOLD ON!!! Ok... GO... HOLD ON!!! I stopped in Bend, OR after traveling. Our order taker and barista, Jared, was wonderful! He introduced himself to us before taking our order, recommended an alternative drink when the store was out of peppermint, and was very pleasant. We listened as he interacted with other customers and his wonderful service shone through with each new order. My boyfriend and I said that we definitely will be going back to this store every time we are in Bend. Jared deserves attention and praise for his wonderful personality and ability to help customers find an alternative. WE LOVE YOU JARED! read more

Make sure they fill your drink all the way up because the young short woman whose working @2pm making the drinks literally gave me 80% of my frappe with a tiny bit of whip cream. It looked like it was unfinished when I got it from the counter. I spoke to her about it and she shrugged her shoulders and said "I don't know what I did wrong" SMH I don't know if she was having a bad day or what but that was bad customer service. And I tip the jar every time I go. Not tipping anymore. And next time I see her you can best believe I'm going to make sure she gets the entire frappe even if she has to make a whole nother batch. This Starbucks has a meeting room and a drive through, which make it incredibly convenient. However, my order gets frequently messed up in the drive through. I always ask for blonde roast and I have received the Pike Place roast a few times. This morning I got a cinnamon latte and it was super short (see picture) which sucks when you're paying almost $5 for a drink. I know I can walk inside and have them remake or repour my coffee, but then what is the point of having a drive through? read more

One thing I've learned in the year I've lived in Bend, if it's more than two minutes away people think it's "far". I'm used to driving 20 - 30 minutes to get places so we frequently head off to Redmond or Sisters for things, people always tell us we are out of our minds. So, it should come as no surprise that when I'm in need of coffee and downtown Bend or Century Drive Starbucks are closed I drive to the "south" side of town to get my fix. This is the only Starbucks in town that stays open late, which is an especially good thing when I'm working late and need a quad soy latte! The people are super friendly, service is great, and they've only made my drink wrong once. And they were super quick and apologetic, had it re-made and a coupon for a free beverage in my hand before they could even finish saying they were sorry they made a mistake. Not bad! Inside there is a separate area that customers can use for meetings, which is awesome. And they have more tables, chairs and outlets than any of the other Starbucks in town, which makes it the ideal air-conditioned office-away-from-the-office on a super hot day. read more

Sorry, not a fan and not just because I like to shop local. Coffee was great 25 years ago and then they stopped buying their beans from Peet's. Good chai. Always nice staff. Coffee isn't great. I returned home after traveling out of state, and I placed a mobile order without realizing it wasn't at my local Bend, OR Starbucks. Yikes. When I showed up to pick up my order that wasn't on record, the manager was very accommodating and remade my order when it wasn't even their mistake. No questions asked. I've been visiting this Starbucks for several years now, but this was such an excellent customer service experience, I wanted to share some Kudos. Thank you Starbucks! read more

This morning was it. No more can I go to Starbucks. I don't about how you guys label your small, medium and large. Especially when I kept saying I want a large and the person on the other end said that people usually get the 22oz... which to be honest is a medium. I didn't want a medium I wanted a large. Your menu board sits way to far from the point where I give my order I honestly can't even read what your sizes are. So to sum up; I ordered a large drink, but because your employee is too worried about what I call the size, I didn't get what I wanted and I'm sick of trying to explain that at the window (this wasn't the first time). Just because your employees talk with a nice tone... doesn't mean they are great at customer service, especially when the customer isn't getting what they intentionally ordered in the first place. read more

Not sure what the deal is but I'm finding more and more Starbucks employees that want to argue with you!!! This place was nuts! Being a loyal customer for 20 years now spending over $300/month not counting gift cards purchased. There is nothing like paying for your coffee only to drive down the road to find out it's not made right in this case Wrong syrup!!!!! I always order triple expresso 6 pump of white mocha with extra ice and 2 percent to the rim Key ingredient is the extra ice if made right it only allows 2oz of milk so when I went back and ask for a new drink not only was she flat out rude and annoyed by it but she's arguing that I want a ice mocha and not expresso! I'm in the middle of a 1100 mile trip and had to drive a couple miles back to have it made right instead I was smiling and very polite and got a jerk behind the counter!!! Ps. The best customer service is performed with an honest intent. not contests. Sitting here for the past hour i have heard each and every single employee try to engage in some sort of asinine contest for customer service. these people have very little rapport building skills and just come across as trite. From someone who studies body language, and has trained several companies in customer service and interpersonal relations i can honestly say this charade is making me sick. I can see right through their facade and if they knew my credentials they might actually look me in the eye and greet me with the same fake charisma. Time to make some calls. read more

I'm not sure why this Starbucks is so low rated. I've never had a problem with it. I've gone in during the afternoon, early evening, mornings, lunchtimes, you name it. I've gone in and used the drive thru, and the service and quality of drinks has always been great. The employees are always respectful and caring. I frequently order a variety of drinks and it has always been great. My only complaint is that once in a while, usually with chai lattes or mochas, my cup has only been 2/3 full. read more

Terrible service. I have had so much better at other Starbucks near me. Arguing is there goal when they don't make your drink right. So I went to order a 'Pumpkin Spice Chai Latte', I specifically looked it up to see if it had coffee in it and they put coffee in it. Driving through Bend we thought we get a quick cake pop and drink before heading out on the open road. The drive thru lane was a little long compared to all the other ones that I have stopped at. I am not new to Starbucks. From Washington to California I have been through a lot of them. Person working the window was nice but I felt our drinks should have been done before getting to the window. One was a Venti refresher and the other a tall iced white mocha. Not worth the effort any longer. This used to be one of the better Starbuck's in town. Unfortunately, with the upturn in the economy, it seems as though they are scraping the bottom of the barrel for their employees. A clown with a manscaped beard (which made me want to vomit) was extremely rude on my last visit. This visit, the pre-pubescent making our drinks kept smelling his armpits and the drinks were not made well (sticky honey all over the outside of the cup, wrong ingredients, etc.,).
