Came in for a little pick me up. Vente coconut milk vanilla latte. Hot. Really needed the pick up with this dreary weather we've been having. And it's been chilly as well, so the warmth of the coffee was wonderful. Really hit the spot and picked me up. Store is clean, and some people were chatting and networking, or on their laptops. It's a smallish Starbucks. Service was friendly. I was greeted with a smile, and asked how I was doing. I gave my order, and scanned my app. I sat down and waited a brief 3/4 minutes and I was off to work. I don't believe this location has a drive thru. I love that. I am really surprised to see bad reviews on this Starbucks and wonder if the poor reviews are old or people think they're writing about the free-standing location in Lakeway, which is the worst one I've ever visited. The staff is always busting their behinds and friendly when I talk to them. I will say that I usually order via the app and have no problem with my wait time. They will usually ask me my name if they see me waiting for more than a couple of minutes. My drink always tastes the way I expect it to taste. They are always busy and it's never been dirty, so other than Starbucks always being busy, I have zero complaints about this location. I can't say the same for their nearby counterparts. Best Starbucks in the Austin area and I have visited just about all of them. Employees are actually personable; always kind with greetings and the feel is just different than other stores I have been to. Drinks have always been presented quickly and accurately. I come here all the time due to the above and will continue to. Props to the current management and the employees. This is the worst Starbucks I have ever gone to. Brooke didn't know the gold loyalty program and insisted I was incorrect when asking for a refill of an iced coffee after I had just spent $7 on a drink. I politely asked to get a refill and she insisted I was wrong. I went to look up the policy on Starbucks website and it clearly stated that I could get a free refill as long as I scanned my gold card when I ordered my first drink which I did. I proceeded to get back in line and showed her the policy online and she got even more irritated and loud and continued to insist I was wrong. I asked for her store manager and she pointed me to a card. I went and grabbed the card and called Anthony (District Manager) who said I was correct on the policy and would call the store to let Brooke know she was incorrect. When I told her this Brooke had other customer say I was harassing her because I simply knew the policy better than she did. This establishment needs to train employees better and needs better employees who don't feel entitled to yell at other customers when pointing out a policy that clearly states you get a free refill. Don't waste your money... drive the extra 4 mins to go to the Starbucks in lakeway they never disappoint. The lady who made it was rude and was mad I ordered an iced tea. I ordered my drink with ice it literally had none, I paid for extra Carmel and the Carmel was less then when you ask for it "light" lol, I know they did not do all the pumps of my flavors, and the tea/water/milk ratio was way off. Literally paid money for warm watery milk so there's that. Tasteless vanilla skinny what is wrong with Starbucks this used to be a favorite coffee drink of nine it tastes terrible dont know of I am brave enough to complain people here are very nice but cookies is average and taste like it's been refrigerated too long kinda of stale. It happens. Smallish Starbies, hard working & friendly staff, and they'll happily sell you beans by the half-pound (some SBs won't). If you want to have tasteless coffee and horrible service this is the location to go! I live 5 minutes from this Starbucks and I prefer to drive to the Westlake location. It's been several times that I've been here and every single time I go its getting worst I literally just stop today for a chocolate pop because I already know their coffee sucks and I'm not spending 8 dls for a tasteless coffee again at this location. The girl they have a the cashier has the worst attitude not sure what is wrong with this young generation of people do not know how to talk to people they have 0 idea of hospitality and service. I ordered the chocolate pop and she never got it and there was no more people behind me Starbucks was half empty she was just standing looking at nothing and I told her I'm just waiting for the chocolate pop and she take a look to the rest of their coworkers that are working in online orders and 5 minutes later she see nobody is getting the chocolate pop and finally she decides to grab the chocolate pop lol put it on a bag and put it on the counter line instead of handle it to me lol and I told the other girls hi I'm just waiting for the chocolate pop and ask me what's your name when is the only bag on the counter and told the manager is she ok? and she acts like she doesn't know what is happening and I told her what happened and she say oh she's not allowed to handle things to people and I'm like what? so why you have her working there? since when employees are not allowed to handle things to customers? Well, this is totally first world problems, but when I order on the app, I have to do it like 15-20 minutes ahead of time, or it will NEVER be ready. Don't get me wrong, the app is the bomb and the reason I have probably quadrupled my stops at starbys. The little protein boxes with the eggs are an easy grab for lunch. Body by Starbucks yAll. I come to this Starbucks pretty frequently and it's normally an average amount of busy. My drinks never take more than 10 minutes and they normally come out in 5 or less. The bathrooms are super clean and single stall which I prefer . The gals at the counter are friendly and fast . I enjoy this location. I am shocked about the service at this Starbucks! There was a free give away and when I inquired about it the cashier had no clue what I was talking about. When she asked the barista about it he rolled his eyes and became overly irritated. He made the drink in the give away cup and then put it on the counter. When I picked it up and took a sip the top was not on and it spilled all over me! I turned around to him and said "excuse me, you didn't secure the lid and I spilled it everywhere!" His response was "oh, I'll clean the floor". No apology or offer to refill my drink! I can't help it, I'm addicted to Starbucks. I probably come here way too often. There's one employee who's been there awhile who's badge says his name is Junior. He is awesome. So professional and always makes our drinks just right. If he's there we know everything will be perfect. There is one lady who is consistently put off by having to people. I guess peopling isn't her thing. I wonder if she's the manager? Anyways, she's a little on the rude side. Other than the area being a bit dirty during busy times, this is my go to Starbucks because of consistency of the drinks. And to my fellow public - can ya'll please learn how to get in line at Starbucks? They all are pretty much the same. Start at the food counter, stop and order at the register, and pick up at the end. It's hilarious and disturbing to watch people just jump the line like they don't know how a que works. I do wish the hours were open a little longer, but I guess that's Bee Cave for you. Long story short, I've visited this location several times over the span of a few months as it's really the only Starbucks I pass on the way to work. Each visit has always had some combination of rude servers, incorrect drinks or 10+ minute wait times (after ordering in advance on the app). To be clear, I love Starbucks... Just not this location. It is consistently slow and far from clean, and yesterday my barista was downright rude. The place was not even busy and yet it still took her 15 minutes to make me the wrong size Frappuccino. When she realized her mistake she dumped it into a blender with a giant cup of ice. The result was that it had no flavor at all. I have never returned a coffee drink in my life but my friend encouraged me to because it is ridiculous to pay five dollars for a cup of crushed ice. Her response was "these never have any flavor." She grudgingly made me another one and either she was correct and I just never realized that fact, or she purposely made it with too much ice again because it tasted the exact same. (She was THRILLED when I brought it back and asked for a squirt of whip cream on top of that mess though.) On an unrelated note, there was a random pill on our table and the floors were beyond gross. Is everyone bored with their job who works here? This isn't my "usual" Starbucks, but I would say I'm in here enough to be able to write an honest review. I just went in and got a "fancy" coffee drink for 5 bucks. That's the cost of the drink, I got it. And I'll pay that all day long. But the girl literally sighed before telling me my amount "that'll be *sigh* 5.03". And what's funny is that I've called this same girl out before for looking like she's mad when she's at the register. She smiled last time after I asked her if she was pissed. She said she was just tired, I guess she's still tired. 3 months later. Enough about her, the other one who made my drink didn't act like she was enjoying her job either. Her: "grande white mocha". Me: thank you. Her: yep. No eye contact, I don't even believe that she even looked in my general direction. Don't get me wrong, no one is rude per se. But, my "usual" Starbucks is always friendly, and it's not because I know them.
