I loved this location for working, or stopping in to take a call while enjoying my favorite Skinny Vanilla Latte, hot or iced! Although it is not a lot of space inside, the tables and chairs are comfy for working and loved the easy access to power outlets. Spacious clean restrooms too. The staff are super helpful and friendly and I appreciated them pausing to find me a bandaid for my paper cut. (Ouch)! There are parking spaces on the side by the drive-through that you have to cross if parked there so watch your step at night with the traffic. But I will definitely be remote-working here again in the future. read more

Drinks are always made well and staff here are very nice (even given me free drinks a few times!). I only have 2 problems with this location and that's the physical location itself, and wait time for the drive-thru. Being along Orchard Rd, right off the interstate, as well as across the street from several corporate offices, two high schools, and a large doctor office makes this a VERY busy Starbucks location. The store itself is on the corner of a very tight little strip plaza. I hate getting in/out of the parking lot because it's very hard to see around the corners of the building and people will come flying in. This also makes it difficult to safely back out of certain spots. I've experienced way too many near accidents in this parking lot. The Starbucks drive-thru line seems to worsen this issue too. At busy times during the day, the drive-thru line overflows out of the lot and wraps out onto the road. The wait in the drive-thru can sometimes take forever, even when it doesn't appear to be that long. I have gotten in line and waited 40 mins before (and was only maybe 6 cars back from the order screen). Not sure if this is just slow service or an understaffing issue, but it's been this way for years at this location. The unfortunate thing is once you get in line, there's curbs on either side of you preventing you from escaping. Long story short - this Starbucks needs more staff and a larger stand-alone location. This Starbucks is SLOW. The drive-through line is always incredibly long and moves terribly slow. Every time I try to come to this Starbucks, the drive-through line stretches into the neighboring street and BLOCKS traffic! I have tried doing mobile ordering to skip the long line, but it is very stressful trying to get into the parking lot as the drive-through line is constantly blocking the entrance to the parking lot. I would reccomend you drive a little further to a different Starbucks than waste your time and frustration with this location. read more

Every day the wait for the drive thru is always over 15-20 mins today I've been sitting in the drive-they for 34 minutes and once in line you can't get out. This place is a joke. Back to Dunkin with a four minute wait time at most. Not worth missing meetings and being late for work for. read more

Every Starbucks has its own unique flavor. This is the third time I have been to this location. Each time I visit the restaurant is extremely busy. The staff is great and very helpful. They cannot do anything about the cramped quarters. What I found unique about this location is the wall diorama about the life of the coffee bean. It's a Starbucks, you already know the menu. What makes this one different than others however is that service is unfortunately SLOW. I mean outrageously slow. You will sit in the drive thru here longer than a Chicago White Castle at 3am after the bars let out on a Saturday. And what's even more frustrating is that your frozen drink will be melted. I moved here from Seattle so I am guessing my expectations for a Starbucks is quite high. This one is the worst I've ever been to. Minimum wait in line each time I have come is 10 minutes. I gave them the benefit of the doubt thinking maybe they were new employees, maybe they were training people.. but this is my 8th time here and they just can't seem to get it together. I have contacted Starbucks customer service and I'm sure it will be completely pointless and nothing will change that's why am writing this review it just makes me feel like I can at least get this out somewhere. Not a low rating because I dislike Starbucks but because this Starbucks is so inconsistent lately. I've been coming here consistently for a couple years, am friendly with all the baristas, and wouldn't discontinue my business but if you're a coffee snob this is not the Starbucks for you. Sometimes I get my drinks and they're perfect. But this morning has by far been my least favorite experience with this Starbucks I've ever had. I ordered a pumpkin cream cold brew right? Nothing crazy. I received pumpkin milk with a landing strip of cinnamon so thick I thought they were trying to get my to do the cinnamon challenge. Still gonna go back tho. One of my biggest pet peeves about coffee places is when people place all their crap on tables to claim them, but are nowhere to be seen. I'm especially annoyed when one person takes up a table meant for a large group, or a table that could be shared with someone else. That said, this Starbucks has crap on every table. And people sitting in only half of them. Rawr. I ended up with a little chair for myself, my food, and a laptop until a Starbucks employee (!!!) removed her stuff from a table, thus clearing it up for me. I claimed half of the table, leaving the other side open in case someone needed a place to sit. Sure enough, someone came over and asked if they could use the other side of my table and I was happy to share. So... yeah. This place is easily packed, both inside and outside. I think it's also the only Starbucks in the area, so it doesn't surprise me that people flock here. Heck, I came here because I needed to use Wifi and it's the closest coffee shop to the campground I'm staying at (seven miles away)! Anyhoo. Service is so-so. This is definitely a location that focuses more on the drive-thru patrons than the people parked inside with laptops. Food and drinks are just fine. Some of the baristas have emotionless faces, and some people, like the older guy that served my drink, are incredibly friendly and ask about your day + life. Just a normal Starbucks. Oh, but while I was sitting here a couple hours ago, an older woman came up to me to tell me that I'm incredibly slim and she was jealous of my figure. She went on to tell me that she thought her stomach was fat, but despite being 83 years old, she felt like she was 60 and was happy with herself. Totally random, but hey, random is cool, I suppose. The same woman was chatting with random workers, I have a feeling she's a regular. So, if you're here, and you see an older woman with short hair and a smile, say "hi" -- she'll appreciate it, I'm sure. Cheers. read more

Let me start by saying I drive a very large truck for work I was starting my 14-hour work day and had approached the front door the front door had already been locked at 8:00 pm even though the shop does not close until 9 p.m. there happened to be a delivery driver making a delivery who also drives a very large trunk so I asked him if he could ask if I could place my order from the door so I could get my coffee. That delivery driver understanding that I was driving a large truck just like him and he probably works the night shift as well understood and asked this lady behind the counter named Allison if I could place my order from the door. The driver then returned and told me no she will not allow you to place your order from the door oh I said okay I guess I'm just going to have to figure out another way to do it so I managed to drive my vehicle as much as I could through the drive-through safely place my order and then pulled up to the window. I talked to the young lady who took my order and express my gratitude for her taking my order it was not Allison was a very nice young lady with a way better attitude that said sorry for any inconvenience that is the reason why I'm giving this visit to Stars because Allison was extremely rude and all I wanted was my coffee so I can continue my work day you didn't take that into consideration at all I asked her very politely and I feel like Alison was very unhappy with being there and was taking it out on me she continued to give me an attitude when I was in the Drive-Thru and I told her you have a nice night got my coffee and the interaction that I had with this young lady made me feel like I needed to write this review. I still love my Starbucks Coffee it gets me through my long nights at work it would just be nice there were more people who were considerate of people who work in the night time and have large vehicles and need their coffee to make it through the night . read more

I have tapered off my visits to this particular Starbucks over the last few months. The staff is not as friendly as it is at some other locations, and service seems to be slower than most. The real capstone for me was when I stopped in one morning and song another car parked, its engine still on and its music blaring, in the handicapped spot - no tag or sticker in place. When I walked in, there was only one other customer in the store, so I knew the car had to be his. He clearly knew the staff, because they were shooting the breeze, which did not work in my favor as it took 13 minutes to receive my grande hot chocolate. While I may have had my doubts about the other customer, let's just leave it by saying there are no circumstances under which it should take 13 minutes to get a hot chocolate when there is only one other customer in the entire store. Meanwhile, other recent visits have included cashiers who only ring up part of my order, lukewarm drinks, and more slow service. Consequently, I am skipping over this store going forward, and moving to the one farther south on Randall, in Montgomery. I came here to pick up my daughter in law her favorite coffee. The drive through line was long so I opted to go inside. It was 9:15 AM and only two guests sitting at tables. I was greeted with " curbside pickup?" To which i replied "no may I order in here or do I have to go to my car and order?". The barista replied yes and continued working to fill her orders. There were 5 people hustling around. A young gentleman asked me for my order, I paid and waited, and waited and waited.15 minutes went bye and finally my 1 coffee drink was ready. I took it from the counter, turned to leave the store, at the same time a larger gentleman was leaving as well, he didn't open the door for me( which is fine I understand chivalry is almost dead) however the door slammed on me and I spilled the drink. Horrified, I picked up the cup and handed to the barista who had greeted me and called my name when the order was up. She looked at me and said thank you.........I stood there for a few minutes (thinking they would remake the order) after 5 minutes she looked at me and said "why are you standing there? Do you need a paper towel? Did it spill on you??.. I said no...... she said well goodbye then! Really?!?!
