This location is super convenient with plenty of parking in the shared shopping lot. Inside, there's ample seating and a few outdoor tables for when the weather is nice. The music selection is calming and makes for a relaxing atmosphere. I'm a creature of habit and always order the same drink--black drip coffee--and it's consistently great. The staff here is fantastic! They greet everyone warmly as they arrive, which really adds to the welcoming vibe. I love getting my morning coffee from this location. I always order through the app and my drinks are ready by the time I go to pick them up, regardless of how busy they may be. However, I do think it takes a while to get your coffee if you order in person. Cars can be annoying in the front of the store as people (myself included) like to park in the front and quickly run in to get their drink but there is still plenty of parking in the shopping center. I love this place and still do, some of my favorite people work here! Today though, I felt like crap ordered my order with the cashier. I normally get three shots of espresso six pumps of white mocha with milk and ice and or 4 shots of espresso with 7 pumps white mocha you get the idea. It's basically a spin off of the white chocolate mocha yet way more coffee based (which I like instead of the white mocha because it's vegan to just taste like milk over the years). It's also 2 dollars and fifty cents cheaper which is great why wouldn't I order it this way especially since I like the extra espresso usually and it tastes more like what I like? Although today while ordering my drink I think the lady was annoyed with how I ordered my drink and once I had wanted more milk added (I'd pay extra) she said "this is a white chocolate mocha if you'd like I can ring it up that way instead" and I said no I'll just get less milk because I could tell she was annoyed and I didn't want to be complicated. It's not so much what she said, but how she said it which made me sad because I genuinely love ordering here and I was actually having a really good morning and I just felt like she was trying to up charge me for no reason when I can order like this no problem. I normally use the mobile app, but today I didn't have WiFi to place my order so I had to go inside. I'll just use that from here on out, because I genuinely don't hold up the line with my order I make it fast, but today I was made out to feel like a bit of an annoyance I stood there waiting for my drink feeling like a pit in my stomach and like I should just be ordering a white mocha, but that's not correct I shouldn't be made to feel like that's what I need to be ordering. I'm aloud to customize my drink, and next time I'll stand up for myself. I get it if in the system you can't do certain things and up charge me correctly for what I am asking which i said was fine and I'd take the splash of milk instead of adding some extra milk, but I think the condescending tone is what like hurt my spirit this morning in which wasn't needed. What I order is also a secret menu thing that people have been ordering for years (my mom got me into it) some people call it a white lightening! So what I order isn't actually something that's off the wall. Thanks! My review is based off of this singular incident with said person, not the entire store as a whole. Update a day later: my coffee was actually incorrect too and I noticed once I drank it that she put iced espresso instead of espresso shots (makes all the difference in taste) so it wasn't good! Every Starbucks has pretty much the same menu but each one can be a different experience. Some have people sitting for hours at a time and some have staff that change a lot. This location is more of a commuter location. The tables turn over fairly quickly and it's usually crowded with the morning rush and when the schools get out. Was in the area and decided to pick up a morning coffee run for my sister and I. I ordered a grande Nitro cold brew with sweet cream (+ 2 toasted white chocolate mocha sauce) for myself and a customized iced coffee for my sister. I only noticed my drink was missing the sweet cream when I was in the car, bc I was preoccupied with their hostile service. The way their mobile pick-up system is arranged is: completed orders alphabetically arranged in the front and incomplete orders behind the tape line. Did I know this? Nope. I've only been to this location maybe 2-3 times now in the last year. Did I see signage stating such? Nope, I may have missed it though. Was I rudely informed of their system by 2 different employees almost back-to-back? Yup. I'm used to locations just putting drinks out (as they come out) for people to pick up..so that's what I did. The younger lady then brings out the second drink and snaps "here you go!", gee, sorry I didn't know your system. They're friendly with their regulars but won't even greet new faces. The absolute best Starbucks location I've ever been to! Ordered a few drinks and a few food items online, but forgot to order one of the items so had to order in the store. Order process was a breeze. Although there was a 10 minute wait for my food and drinks, the staff was the best Starbucks staff I've ever met. All of the staff were very attentive and would ask if I needed anything or what was missing from my order. they all would use my name to address me, which was very nice and respectful. Even the manager, Tim, went out of his way to make my experience so much better by personally checking on my order. Food is great, just like any other Starbucks! I will definitely be back! read more

My phone's Google Maps app had some trouble finding this Starbucks, but I looked up from my phone and figured it out. Parking is very difficult, and this shopping center is c-h-a-o-t-i-c! Cars everywhere backing up, people walking with strollers and kids, others honking and yelling. The store was very busy, both with people in line, others waiting for their food and drink orders, and yet others crowding the seats. This location is in a strip mall and does not have a drive-thru. When I joined the line, there were several customers ahead of me and only one cashier at the register. However, the line moved quickly. I asked to buy a $25 gift card, with the aim of achieving my fifth transaction through Chase Pay as part of Chase's robust end-of-year marketing campaign to spend $125 at certain businesses---including Starbucks---and earn $25 in points. The cashier was unfamiliar with the Chase Pay app and asked me to pay with another form of payment, but I explained to her why I needed to pay with Chase Pay and she didn't realize that was an option and was eager to learn how to do it. I told her that there's an option on her screen for it and she quickly found it and scanned my phone and was pleasantly surprised. I have been to this location 4-5 times. My wife loves Starbucks so ho there when we can. But this location is a mystery. Missed orders, always noisy yet no one is talking, orders are misplaced, wrong orders are served. My standard is regular coffee with milk, 2 sugar and hazelnut. This is my regular Starbucks. For the past couple of weeks it has been impossible to place a mobile order here. I've asked about it three times now and have been informed that "the machine is down." (Hand patting the machine that spits out orders.) Today when I asked again what was taking so long to restore mobile service I was told by Missy (who I believe is the owner) that they have had a visitor out five or six times to fix it and it just isn't getting done right. This is ridiculous in my opinion but if that's how you want to run a business, OK. However as soon as I stepped back to wait for my drink, another customer asked and her response to him was "I just turned the machine back on." Which is it? Is your machine to accept mobile orders not working? Or do you just turn it off when it's inconvenient? I really don't like when people lie to my face. read more

This is my go-to starbucks--- I go there almost daily. It's a good starbucks to just "swing by", especially if you're hip to mobile ordering. I think they did a good job with the recent renovations--definitely a step up from what it used to be. However, they inconveniently located the mobile pick up area on the far end, which means you have to bypass all of the people in the starbucks to retrieve your drink. Only think i don't like because it's sometimes crowded... There has been a bit of turnover with the staff, but the fun and familiar faces are still there. They are very hospitable and if you go often they treat you like family. One member of the staff deserves special mention, ----Mary. She is amazing, always friendly, and interacting with here is always a great way to start my day. As far as Starbucks go, this is one of my favs. Would definitely recommend! read more

So, its 6am and you are no where near home. The streets are desloate. Its a SATURDAY. You really should be in bed. But you have to "work". To help jolt you back to life, somewhat, you whip out your phone to access your "Find a Starbucks" App. (bless the makers of this app!) The app tells you of the nearest store and praise cheeses, its OPEN! At the butt crack of dawn! yay Service isnt speedy, but there is hardly anyone in the store- they are all smart enough to still be sleeping probably. So for nearly every day for the past two years, I've been ordering the same drink and charged the same price including at this Starbucks; that is until today. I order four shots of espresso with coconut milk and am always charged the same amount which is $3.77 (sometimes I'm even charged a little less but regardless this amount is typically what I'm charged). When I ordered this drink at this location today -along with a grande iced black tea- I was charged a total of $9 and some change. The tea was only $2.75 so the other $6 and change was for my drink that at any other Starbucks is no more then $3.77. I showed her all my previous receipts and she said that's not how we charge at this location. She had an attitude as well. This was 1/20/2019 at 1pm and the girl had short red hair and wore a beanie in case the person that reads the stores reviews cares to know. I told her to take the coffee off and I just ordered the iced tea then went back and had her refund me for the tea as well because I didn't want to give them my business. So then I hopped in over to the Starbucks across from Springfield mall and what do you know!?- I was charged the usual $3.77! Yep, that's the one I'll be going to from now on when I'm in the area. Oh Starbucks...how I have a love/hate relationship with you!! My main gripe with Starbucks is, aside from the price, is consistency. You could visit 5 different Starbucks all within 25 miles of each other and order the exact same drink and I'd be willing to bet each one would taste different. I don't quite understand how some Starbucks are totally on point with their baristas and some just miss the mark horribly. I guess it really has to do with management at each location. I am in restaurant management for a chain and I completely understand the importance and necessity to have the quality and taste of my product match that which customers have grown accustomed to and expect when visiting a chain establishment. Its the same expectations that my regular customers have for all my associates when they come to my establishment. I think that is where Starbucks tends to falter. There are Starbucks everywhere they pop up like 7-11's and I think with that kind of growth that sometimes their quality suffers because of it. This location is one of the more consistant ones in this area as far as quality goes. The staff is usually friendly however I have noticed that they tend to talk to and interact with their coworkers more than they do with their customers which can be a little off putting...but I'm not expecting my barista to be my best friend or my therapist, so I will continue to go to this Starbucks because they make good drinks and they always have my favorite Madeline cookies that so many Starbucks don't have! read more

So if I was to break down my rating into morning and evening, the morning crew would be a 5, evening is a 2, so I settled in with a 4. The morning guys (and gals) are fantastic, always eager top great with either a smile or Witty humor. The store is well maintained and stocks. Evening are completely the opposite. Can you not take a second to clean a table, take out the trash? Holy crap this place is a mess. Not just once but numerous times I have been there, to the point I go to another less friendly Starbucks in the evening if I want a coffee. Thrice I have been in there at around 8 to 8:30 PM to grab a mocha and possibly a snack and they are already cleaning out the baked goods. Can't you wait until 9 when you are closed? And if I ask you if you have a brownie, please don't look at me like I am inconveniencing you. I went to this Starbucks on 5/31/15 while in the Kingstown shopping plaza. I had originally gone to this Starbucks thinking it would be a good place to study (before I went next store to Giant). I had no idea how much traffic this location receives. Although, it was a terrible place to study (it was loud and warm inside, due to the number of times the front door was opening and closing); the customer service was excellent. The women at the front counter was even able to help me understand my Starbucks app better without sacrificing the time people were staying in line behind me. The location was clean and this is another positive compliment to the staff at this location considering how busy it was I would not have faulted them if it was a little disorganized. Overall a good location if you're in the area and want some caffeine but not a great location to lounge around or do some reading. read more

The staff here is friendly, which is nice. Usually they get stuff out quickly, a couple times I had an issue where they made the wrong order and had to re-make it, but not in a while. The line is sometimes slow because they are busy talking to each other. The shop just had a redesign, so there is a lot more seating along the big bench in front of the counter. They could work on cleaning up a little more in here. The tables when you come in the door are often not wiped off, and the chairs all over the place. Sometimes they do not restock the condiment stand in a timely fashion...I went to look for raw sugar in the brown packet and there was only 1 there. For breakfast sandwiches -I've tried the Veggie & Monterey Jack Artisan Breakfast Sandwich...would not order again. It was just a lot of cheese, hardly no egg, and hardly any veggies. -I've also tried the Spinach, Feta & Cage-Free Egg White Breakfast Wrap...not bad. Would get it again. -I miss the Spinach and Havarti cheese breakfast sandwich. I totally wish they would bring it back. If I want to sit and hang out at a nice comfortable Starbucks, this is not the place. Outside seating is a little more compelling. But as far as grabbing something and go, I'd rather get my coffee here at a Starbucks store than the Giant or the Safeway. read more

You can't expect that much out of a Starbucks at the end of a strip mall, but at best this place hits just above the 'average' mark you'd expect from a Starbucks. Drinks aren't consistent day to day (some days too sweet, other days too bland) but they always seem to have a good stock of pastries. They are efficient though: no matter the rush it doesn't take more than a few minutes for my drink order to go through. Plus the manager working there seems very friendly, and knows quite a few of the locals walking in. If the noise level wasn't so high and there was more consistency with the drink orders, I'd consider this one of the better chain cafés. read more
