If I could go lower than 1 star I would. If I could leave a negative tip I would. The inconsistency of you people scares me. One day, I am on my knees thanking that you exist. The other, I am questioning why I just dropped $7 to get screwed with a cup of poop. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE if it is between the times of 1 to 3 on Fridays. Whoever is on shift then, needs to get put on a barista black list for the rest of their poop making lives. read more

Only been to this location a couple of times since it's been open and I honestly see why. I got my regular shaken expresso and never have I had so much room left in my cup empty. I got a grande and the cup was not even filled to the top line in the cup. I did not ask for light ice or anything to where it should have been modified that much. When I asked the girl to fix it all she did was add more milk to the drink. Made the drink completed white because it was nothing but milk at that point. The attitude of the employees working there could also be better and customers in the dining area should not have to hear them talk about other customers who have left. Bad business. I should have just tried somewhere local instead. read more

Had a great experience! The two young ladies at the window were kind and hilarious. I ordered a drink and asked for an empty cup in each size as I make and sell fabric coffee sleeves. They honored my request no questions asked. THANK YOU! read more

I frequent this Starbucks due to its location. I've never had a bad customer service experience here. The employees have always been pleasant. The issues I experience are normally slow service (I believe they have the same problem as many other businesses are having with high employee turnover) and being out of seasonal drink ingredients (seasonal drinks are huge sellers for Starbucks). read more

Starbucks - Line is generally wrapped around the block in the mornings due in part to slow service - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Aiken, South Carolina

By far, this is the worst Starbucks that I have gone to, and trust me, I have visited Starbucks all over the country and globally! If I could give this location, a zero rating I would! The baristas are especially rude and seem incapable of making a simple drink. Do yourself a favor and go a little further down the road to the Starbucks in the Kroger grocery store. At least you will have wonderful customer service! read more

Employees are nice, but they really just make the drinks how they want, and your order is nothing but a suggestion. Unfortunately for my wallet, fortunately for Starbucks, I get coffee here, a lot. And with my frequent travels, I get my drinks tasting consistent, but not at my home-location on Whiskey road in Aiken. I ask for 3 pumps of sweetener, they still put the full amount for the size drink I order. I ask for oat milk, they put almond. I ask for regular roast espresso, and not the blonde (because it's sweeter, and I don't like my drinks overly sweet), and they put blonde in. I hate coming to this location, but other than the one in Kroger, this is the only one. Management needs to get their staff acting with more care. And the inside of the store could use some cleaning, too. read more

By far the worst Starbucks. Drinks taste like coffee mixed with one of the refreshing fruity drinks and banana nut bread smell weird. When I ask to please fix the issue they had an attitude and slammed the drink down on the counter. Just please fix the problem and move on. Don't like your job find another one. North Augusta Starbucks is way better than Aiken. read more

Always have such good service when I go here, Natalie is always so kind. Great place to start your morning!

I went through the drive thru this evening on my way out of town. I wanted a nice, hot coffee to keep me awake during my trip. Three stars for at least filling my order correctly, but the coffee wasn't even hot. I literally could have drunk the whole thing with no problem. It was warm, but not hot at all. When coffee is your thing .... read more

I typically don't review chain establishments because the service and quality tends to be variable due to high turnover. However, my experience today hit an all new low at the Whiskey Road location. I did a mobile order then called to see of I could come in to pick it up. The person who answered said yes, come inside to pick up my order. I walk inside and was immediately yelled at saying that I couldn't be inside. She said that she didn't know who told me to come in but they were wrong. I was rudely told that I needed to get back in the (extremely long) drive thru line to pick up my order even though the app indicated my order was ready. I asked if she could cancel my order and she practically snapped at me that I needed to go through corporate. I did contact corporate and they did refund my money and gave me a give card after telling them about my experience. Service at this location is typically okay...but today was a new level of low. I knew I should have gone to New Moon...but I was on the south side and didn't want to get out in the rain to pick up my drink. That's what I get. The saving grace here is the window attendant who remade my drink because by the time I got to the window it was melted and flat. She was very nice and understanding. At the writing of this review, curbside was not available. Apparently the doors are supposed to be locked so don't try to walk inside or you may be yelled at. read more

For the second time in a week there was only one tea bag in my Venti cup. Not only that it was dropped to the bottom instead of secured to the cup for easy removal. For $4 a cup really? Can't call and inform them so here is my complaint! read more

Awful experience every time I go here. I wasn't greeted, location was extremely dirty, it took 5 minutes before anyone took my order and the cashier tried to help the lady behind me first. ive also gone through the drive thru and it's taken 20+ minute. when I got to the window the cashier didn't know my order, and coffee still hadn't been made. Then the cashier stood there taking another order while holding my coffee. read more

I drove from Georgia to Aiken just to find a starbucks south carolina mug. When i got there i needed to use the restroom but there was no toilet paper. I brought this to the attention of one of the employees and in a very snotty voice she told me they will get to that in a moment but what would i like to get to drink. I decided to ignore the attitude and asked for a java chip frap and if they had a south carolina mug. She said if they had one it would be on the shelf. There were none on the shelf but a nice gentleman brought me one from somewhere else. I only gave 2 stars because of the gentleman. read more

This is the Starbucks location that I usually visit, and I've never really had a problem before with the customer service or my order being incorrect, but this morning was a bit different. The young lady at in the drive-thru was very hostile and yelling and gave me a really crappy drink compared to the frappuccinos i've gotten there before. I understand that it was early in the morning and some people tend to not be morning people but the service and the drink were absolutely horrible. read more

Worst Starbucks I've ever been to, and I travel all over. I look for Starbucks over other coffee spots because they have non-dairy milks. I ordered a chai tea with almond milk and a regular latte with coconut milk. They both tasted terrible, undrinkable. Something tasted off like they haven't cleaned the machine or something. I had picked up in the drive thru, so the next day I went back to tell them about the drinks being bad. The barista guy gave me a hard time; he said if something was wrong with the drinks, I should have come back. Like I have time to drive back to Starbucks when I was using the drive thru on the way to work. He did remake my drinks (for free) but they were just as terrible. I threw them out. This isn't the first time the drinks here have been nasty. I give up. Go to Ridgecrest instead. read more

The Starbucks in Aiken us to be one of my favorite places. Not anymore. Crazy things happen now. They close early. The inside is not open. Not a huge issue if the drive-Thru could actually keep up with orders which it can NOT. Get ready for a 30-40 minute wait folks. Why does the owner consider this still acceptable form of doing business. I don't go anymore. In case y'all need that Starbucks hit, promise minimal waiting, the Kroger has one in the store. Not quite as good, but not a painful either on the waiting. I have seriously thought of approaching my dad in investing in a Starbucks at the other end, near the Publix. Certainly would shorten your line. Sorry for the bad review, but you have taken away one of my favorite places. Before you yell Covid, everyone else has figured it out. read more

Low rating is for the poor wifi. This was my 2nd time here this week. I'm trying to conduct some business while traveling. I'm not big on Starbucks but I use them often for business while traveling. Starbucks - Nice new Starbucks - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Aiken, South Carolina

The coffee is great. The service is spotty--some days it's fast but other times...today it took over 20 minutes to reach the drive thru window. The service is usually friendly. The regular chai tea has been consistently in stock for several weeks. The rose bushes have been trimmed so you don't have to let them scrape your fender any more. Also watch out for partially filled cups. My tall (12pz) chai has been weighing in around 9 ounces lately. read more

If you want to experience the greatest customer service with the kindest and most attentive baristas at any coffee shop, visit this Starbucks. I make this shop my go to destination for for coffee everyday. I can't finish my day properly without visiting this store. Just had the worst drink and service I have ever had at a Starbucks. My drink was only filled up 3/4 of the way do I asked for it to be fixed. When I got it back it was lukewarm. This Starbucks has awful service!!! Don't waste your money or your time there. Just head to the Starbucks in the Kroger store right town the road. Better service and better coffee! Update. Don't use mobile ordering here. Slowest service I have ever had at a Starbucks. I thought I would try them again. No better service at all. read more

Really shocked at all the bad press this particular Starbucks is getting in Yelp. I've been drinking Starbucks all over the nation for longer than most people, so I feel qualified to compare it to a standard. And I've never had a bad experience at this location over the past year that I've been here. Bathrooms are clean. Staff is helpful and friendly. Drinks are great. Absolutely no issues. read more

I placed a mobile order at this location. They are supposed to then bring it curbside. Waited and waited. Called in to the store. No one would answer. Finally banged on the window and they said I had to go through the drive thru. Waited in a long line... finally get there and they hand me order, including a small cup of brewed coffee which was pretty much COLD. Asked them for a fresh one and they gave me back another that was still not even remotely hot. They were not apologetic and had a smart ass attitude. Don't waste your time!! read more

Starbucks is one of my fav spots. I'm actually writing my review from the comfort of one of their many locations. This location is cool. It's located on the busy Whiskey Road. It was mostly full when I arrived, especially the drive-thru. I ordered my usual iced coffee. It was prepared just how I like it. The staff was nice also. So after ordering my coffee I was prepared to park it and get a lil' work done. Most of the seats were taken, so I was going to sit outside, but there weren't any outlets. I wasn't expecting them to be on tables away from the building, but even those located next to the building had no outlets. I was a lil' bummed because it was a pretty day. I waited a bit and eventually found a table near an outlet. This is important to me because I usually never have enough battery power to take me through 30 minutes on my laptop. Overall, plenty of seating outside. I'd love for them to update the store with the counter with the outlets underneath. read more

This location is where I get most of my studying done. I've spent hours here for the past 2 years. I use the drive through as well on a regular basis. I've arrived first thing the morning and used the drive through 15 minutes before they closed. I've never had a bad experience, only the occasional rude customer who is never satisfied has disturbed me. As a regular, many of the baristas have remembered my name. I love this location! read more

I love this Starbucks but the other night I had a mobile order like I usually do and the barista at the drive thru window named Kylie was sooooo rude and unprofessional. Her manner was so immature and seriously the worst customer service I've ever had at this Starbucks. I don't know why an employee would act the way she did to a customer but maybe she should work a job where she doesn't have to interact with people or maybe somewhere somewhere like Burger King but I expect better service from Starbucks. read more

Super friendly, fast efficient drive through. Love this location, but sometimes a new employee isn't in control yet.

Somehow they are ALWAYS out of peppermint. One lady told my husband it was seasonal. Definitely not. Then when I wanted my drink over ice she argued with him and told him we couldn't do that.. step it up! read more

Me gusto! This restaurant was my lunch destination recently, and I became quite fond of the place. It was your typical Starbucks at heart, to be sure; but, the dining room was clean, there was plenty of seating (including a great, sun-struck patio), and the service was friendly. Also, the bathroom was big, and equally looked-after - never a bad thing. I took a nice long lunch hour to lounge about the place, and it was time well spent :-) Big thanks to all the good folks at this Starbucks. Keep doing what you're doing. read more

Burnt coffee, but it's a starbucks soooo I guess that is to be expected.

Why is it this location is ALWAYS out of regular chai in Saturdays and push the Oprah chai??? It's EVERY SATURDAY!!! Management needs to do something about the ordering or maybe stop ordering so much of the OPRAH crap so they have to push it when it's about to expire! read more

I just wanted to give my local Starbucks a shoutout. 8000 stores had sensitivity training on May 29th, but ours has always had very courteous baristas and management. As a person of color who comes here for morning coffee regularly, I have never seen the staff act anything but professionally to all patrons, whether purchasing items, hanging out, using the facilities, conducting interviews, studying, sheltering from a cold rainy day, or meeting friends or colleagues - and people do it all in here. I asked one of the baristas how the training went and was told some employees had some eye-opening experiences, so hopefully, it will just enhance the excellent, friendly service these folks already provide to everyone. read more
