While you're there, take a moment to check out the local artwork and stickers. There are some surprisingly interesting pieces. They also have savoury scones which are fantastic. Their sweet offerings, both in bagels and pastries, shouldn't be missed either. The service is on par with the excellent food, and you can really tell that they love their job and their customers. There's always a smile behind the counter, even at the crazy busiest time, and the owners are often outside greeting people and getting to know their customers. The store gets the job done, but it's not as cozy as you might expect or want for the best bakery in Aiken. If they could make it a warmer feel with big plush armchairs I'm not sure I'd ever leave.
