It really is an OMG moment when you first bite into one. Almost like the commercial from Lay's, Betcha can't eat one. When fresh in the box, these little treats are better than any donut or fresh pastry. You might want to buy a box, they sell various sizes and take some to work . You have a grumpy ass co - worker ? I love Starbreads, one of my favorite treats in the world. I don't eat it a lot because I want to weigh less than 200 pounds but I love them. This is a great Starbreads location. The people who work here are wonderful, pleasant people. They work hard. The store is run well. It's small and there's always a line and you will be waiting outside which is good in the Covid era and it's not the employees fault the senorita breads are so ridiculously delicious. I used to live near here, I don't now but I'll swing by sometimes if I'm in the area. This place rules. read more

This is a well known bakery that specializes in a Filipino delicacy called the señorita bread which is the "star" of this establishment. I tasted my very first starbread in Vallejo almost more than 10 years ago at their very first location I believe in good ol Vallejo. They have opened up shop in several Bay Area cities, and this review pertains to the Pittsburg location. A bite into the sweet bread roll and it melts instantly in your mouth. It's filled with just the right amount of their secret concoction of a butter and sugar spread. Great to have in the morning or snack anytime of the day. PROs: opens early at 7 AM, they also carry other items such as leche flan, cupcakes, pastries, and I even saw some lumpia sold by the piece CONs: not much to say here, their selection is solely focused on the señorita bread and there is not a wide variety of goods to choose from, but hey, you just need the señorita bread and you're good to go read more

I've heard about Starbread Bakery before from friends but have never been. I was checking out granite expo with my mom and noticed Starbread was right next door. I was excited to try it out. Starbread is best known for their Senorita Bread. We ended up getting a 10 piece bag for $4. I wish I would have gotten more wow were they yummy! They came out nice and piping hot. They so good and buttery. Will definitely be by again when we I'm in the area. We also tried pork buns that were pretty darn good as well. This location is in a small shopping plaza and can easily be missed. I got lucky cause my husband happened to walk in and order the famous "Señorita Bread." I'm sure you've read the reviews below - all are true! The bread does melt in your mouth and it is absolutely delicious! It is light, flavorful and you can't just have one! I even have a very picky, younger sister who hates trying new things. I put one in her mouth and she gasped and yelled, "Oh my God what is that! That is so good!" Even after we ate dinner that evening she still kept talking about the bread. This is a gift from the heavens.
