Love this coffee place! The location is upper convenient and the drinks are creative and delicious. I like the mix of Latinx flavors into the drinks and the sweet breads. The warm breakfast sandwiches are good, just remember to specify how toasted you like your bread. Service is always friendly and prompt. I recommend ordering ahead (on their web page) or expecting a bit of a wait, it's a popular spot. If you order in site, there is a nice courtyard to sit in while you wait. read more

I have a go to in Oakland for a mazapan latte, but I had an appointment out in Antioch and I'm all about exploring new cafes so I came here. I ordered a small mazapan iced latte and I will say it was good and I loved the foam on top. It was hard to get at the actual mazapan pieces that were in there, which made me sad ha! The courtyard is nice, and if it's a nice day, then it's a great place to sit and hangout. One thing I'll note is that it took a while to get my latte. *** New LUXE SUITES *** Cafecito is located just inside the small plaza it's a cute area there's a couple of barber shops, hair salons and eye lash technician. It's a small area but very nice relaxing spot. In the courtyard there's a few table and chairs if you like to sit for a while. CAFECITO I ordered abuelita's Mexican hot chocolate it wasn't hot at all not even luke warm. It was COLD and the ratio chocolate to water was off. It mostly tasted like water with a hint of chocolate. I ordered a slice of raspberry cake (I don't know the exact name) I took it home to heat it up just a bit. It was, ok. I love Mexican hot chocolate it's usually foamy, sweet and spicy (like chai) and super chocolatey , this was not. I plan to try cafecito again they offer a lot of options and food items. Such a cute spot with extremely friendly staff & a delicious menu! They have a lot of different drinks options to choose from - so make sure to plan multiple trips . Their horchata matcha is now a go to for me - not overly sweet at all & it could be made with almond milk, which is a major plus. It's a cute little coffee shop. The staff were very polite and friendly. I was kind of expecting some indoor seating from the name of the shop, but there is no indoor seating. However, there is some outdoor seating right outside within the plaza, with trees offering shade and small water fountain. Honestly I want to give them a five but I waited to be helped, customer service was ok and my croissant was burned but it was tasty so I'm conflicted about the rate... The Horchata latte was a 5, and prices are reasonably for the area, I never had one before therefore it exceeded my expectations, the croissant was delicious but burned :/ They have a rewards program, they have like a patio seating so you can enjoy your food and drink in a very relaxed atmosphere, you can hear birds, hear water running and they have a surround system playing soft music, you can find sparking on the street. This is exactly what downtown Antioch needed and honestly what I personally needed. As soon as I heard Cafecito Lounge was opening, I was ecstatic! It's been years since I've found a café that makes a Mexican mocha, let alone one that knocks it out of the park. It is DEFINITELY A MUST HAVE! Cafecito Lounge... OMG they for sure understood the assignment, IYKYK! Their space is super cute...flowers, art, cute mugs, and a patio that's perfect for chisme ...just saying lol They're open Tuesday to Saturday, 7 AM to 3 PM (Saturday 8-2) so plan accordingly. I got there right before their mid morning rush. Line definitely moved quickly, & was so worth it. Btw, parking downtown can be a little tricky, but there are two public lots nearby if you can't find a spot right out front. Oh and they definitely have something for everyone... breakfast sandwiches, Pan Mexicano, bagels...a little bit of everything. Plus, they take Apple Pay which is always a win in my book. Lastly, after living in Antioch for over 20 years, I had no idea this little gem of a building with boutiques even existed. Cafecito Lounge brought something fresh, flavorful and definitely needed to our community. Ordered the iced cafe de olla and their take on a bagel sandwich. Both were delicious and the order came out quickly. Their cafe de olla was not too sweet which for me is perfect. And the bagel was super soft but still toasty which made it the perfect as a breakfast sandwich. The staff were nice and even though they were out of an item they quickly recommended a similar item that it turned out I loved. The vibe of the shop is super cute and I hope they are around for years to come as I love having the opportunity to support local Antioch businesses. read more

However, I scanned the code on the window and placed my order but it ordered at the Lodi location, although they made it right and made the order-- it was a 35 minute wait. Why did the site even ask for my phone number when order was placed if It wasn't going to inform me in a text that my order was ready? My friend whom I came with went inside and asked about her meal/drink also and it was at the correct location and had been sitting and waiting for pick up? They said I needed to let them know I was there. I find that kinda frustrating because again why would they need her phone number if they didn't plan on letting her know when it was done? The drinks were all pretty good, but if you want to come here then I highly recommend their coffees. The white strawberry cloud had a strong coffee flavor at the bottom and a perfectly sweet strawberry foam on top. The chai latte and mazapan latte were ok. The service was a 8/10, just a little coffee shop. The ambiance however is beautiful and extremely peaceful. The surrounding stores are hair salons or tattoo shops, but you could definitely come here to escape and relax. The prices are fair for what you get. I hope this place blossoms. read more

I've been waiting to try Cafecito since they opened. My husband and I finally had a day off together and decided on a coffee date. I ordered the Mazapan latte and my husband got the Biscoff latte. Both drinks were supposed to be hot. They were lukewarm at best. Super disappointing. We sat in the courtyard area. The key is to sit furthest away from Cafecito because there's a million flies near the front door and in the immediate area. Everyone inside is nice, just wish the drink was warmer. I will be back to try something else and will probably ask for my driving extra hot. read more

My daughter told me about this place and how it just recently opened up. We decided to try it on a Saturday morning. Parking was easy, finding the location was a bit tricky if you aren't actively looking, but my daughter spotted it inside of a courtyard location. A few people in front of us in line, but not a terrible wait. It's tiny inside, but once it's your turn to order not too bad. I ordered 2 separate drinks to try - a Mexican mocha and the cookie butter latte. My daughter order the strawberry smoothie and a croissant. The wait for drinks and food wasn't terrible as we were sitting waiting for our stuff. We got our drinks and I enjoyed my mocha, my daughter didn't like the smoothie. I waited in line to ask how it was made, but they offered to give my daughter a replacement drink - I don't recall what she ordered, but she was happier. This place was great the first time I tried. Second time, complete let down. Got my order wrong, so when I took it back, they rushed my latte out and it was straight milk. Me and my bf tried this spot today cause of the TikTok hype. The concept is cool and service is quick, but the drinks don't live up to the price. My bf got the Mango Loco (a Red Bull infusion) and it literally just tasted like straight chili--basically like chugging tajin and chamoy water. I got the mazapán latte and it was fine, but nothing special. What annoyed me most is they charge extra for "less ice," which personally I don't think is necessary but at the end of the day it is just 50 cents.
