I think this is one of the best smoothie places in the Bay Area. Because of my work, I travel to…read morebig cities like San Jose and San Francisco very often, and I haven't found any place that has a smoothie flavor that really clicks with me. I'm very picky about smoothies because I often drink them as a meal replacement at home. I've done a lot of research and experimented with all kinds of ingredients to create my own recipes. For the longest time, I preferred making smoothies at home because I couldn't find a place that I truly liked. But when I tried one of the smoothies here, I thought, "Dang, this is worth coming back for!" Since then, whenever I have a little extra time, I stop by and treat myself instead of making a smoothie at home. Blue Cin is my favorite smoothie here. I'm not sure whether I've tried any of the other flavors or not. But ever since I found my favorite, Blue Cin, I figured I might as well keep enjoying it until I get bored. Then I'll start trying something else.

I ordered a large Peanut Butter Bonanza ($11.86), which I enjoyed last time. When I asked to enter my phone number for rewards points, the man helping me (who said he was the owner) told me I could enter it after paying. That didn't make sense, and there was no option to enter my number afterward. It felt rushed and dismissive. Customer service was also lacking -- no greeting before I ordered my smoothie, no smile, and no thank you when I picked up my order. He placed the smoothie on the counter and walked away without offering a straw or saying anything. The smoothie was good, but the experience wasn't welcoming. Not sure I'll be back.

I…read morewas there in person after ordering online 20 minutes prior and the app kept on saying they're preparing my order. It kept on moving the pickup time progressively. after another 20 minutes of waiting, I asked if they even started making my order. One employee said it's coming right up. After waiting for another 10 minutes AFTER that... it still said "preparing your order" so we asked a second time, and lo and behold it was sitting in their freezer. Way to waste our time. Edit since I can't respond to the business owner: This happened today September 4, approximately noon. I was there to pickup at 11:56pm which was initial pickup time, afterwards it kept on moving progressively. I actually talked to the staff about it afterward. All they did after hearing me, was mark the order as complete after I gave them feedback. I was particularly frustrated because I ALREADY followed up on my order only to be told it's coming up, but that employee had no way of knowing that. Nothing in the process mitigated this issue. They also didn't even seem to notice that i was there in the store waiting for quite awhile.

I mean I've been to other similar places and honestly I have to be in the mood. When I walked in it was pretty quiet and super clean with ample seating. There is a kiosk to order from or you can just ring the bell if no one is at the register. I looked at the menu and literally there is something for everyone. It is the perfect place for your veggie, meat and potato, vegan, always on some kind of diet friends and family. Also perfect for picky kids. We both opted for the Vitality Wrap filled with lots of yummy goodness and grilled like a panini. It was superb! It has greens, quinoa, avocado, red potato, seeds, tahini, and some other tasty stuff. I also got The rejuvenator fresh juice that's disguised the beets really well lol. You can have breakfast, lunch, or dinner which is why they close at 9pm. Let me start by saying I absolutely adore this place. I found this place on yelp and sent my…read moreboyfriend to pick up smoothies one morning on a whim. The first time got us hooked. The morning ritual is the best smoothie I've ever had. It's hard to balance health and flavor, but this was both healthy and incredible. They list the ingredients used in each smoothie, so you know all of what they contain. You can even add different boosters such as mass muscle, etc. It's located inside of a gym, to the right side of it. Don't be thrown off, you don't need a membership to enjoy the fantastic smoothies. The workers have been really sweet each time we've visited, and when we ordered via Uber it was ready upon arrival. One of the only drawbacks is how expensive it is. I also really wish that they listed their nutrition facts online. For such a health oriented company it's shocking that they don't, and especially a company of decent size. The smoothies contain dates, nuts, etc. So although they are good ingredients they can be high in fats, so it's important to know. Our smoothie also has coffee as well which we enjoy, but knowing the caffeine content would be appreciated. My last order also had huge white frozen balls that were unblended in it which was odd, I'm not quite sure what they were. If the price was lower, we would come here much more often. It is a great way to start your morning, and makes you feel fantastic afterwards.

Absolutely stupid experience with the Pleasant Hill Vitality Bowls location and corporate customer…read moreservice. We placed a Mother's Day order for pickup Sunday morning. My husband arrived around 8:10 AM, after the store's posted opening time of 8:00 AM, only to find the business completely closed with no communication whatsoever. No call. No email. No cancellation notice. Nothing. What followed was somehow worse. I called the store multiple times throughout the day and left several voicemails that were never returned. I also emailed both the location and corporate customer service and received no response. Corporate didn't answer their phones either. All of this over a $35 order that the business happily charged for but never fulfilled. Today, I went into the store in person to ask for a refund and was met with attitude and defensiveness from the manager instead of accountability or even a simple apology. I was told they "do answer their phones" despite my multiple unanswered calls and voicemails. I was then told they could not issue a refund because it had been "more than two days," even though the delay was entirely caused by their complete lack of response and failure to handle the issue. The store being unexpectedly closed is frustrating enough. Ignoring customers afterward and then treating them poorly when they ask for their money back is unacceptable. I'm still waiting to hear from the "other manager" or "boss" who is supposedly able to process my refund. Who apparently already had my information but was "too busy" to respond to me sooner. Give me a break. At this point, it's not even about the $35. It's about the complete lack of professionalism, communication, and basic customer service.
