This day I went to order my strawberry surf rider and boom ! In red letters it says WE ARE OUT OF STRAWBERRIES! I thought that was crazy since most of their drinks require strawberries. I called and told her my predicament within the app and she told me that the issue was resolved the day before and shouldn't be saying that anymore but since she can't change it internally she kindly said order another drink and I will make the one you want ! Came to this Jamba Juice location to get açaí bowls and when they brought them out they were a quarter full not even half way. We tried to communicate asked them about the portions and they're excuse was that they're premade but that didn't sit right with me so I went back to see if I could get it remade or get a refund and the employee automatically told the cashier to give me refund without me even trying to ask for anything, most of the people working were so unprofessional and childish mock and laughing when they can't even make a bowl correctly. So gross. This isn't so much a review of this location as it is Jamba Juice in general, I think, but either way I have to write 'em up because this is where I experienced this super gross peach drink (I think it was Peach Passion or something to that effect?) that was literally too sweet to bear. Mind you, I probably hadn't had Jamba in a good 15 years or more but I didn't expect it to be this... Overpowering. And I'm not sure why. I worked at Jamba Juice in high school, so I know it's just flavored syrup and ice cream with frozen fruit chunks--which pretty much guarantees it's going to be sweet as hell--but I wasn't ready for an entire meal and thought maybe I should put a little something on my stomach before we got on the road. I love Jamba Juice and I go to multiple establishments frequently. However the customer service at the Pittsburg location on Railroad Ave is horrendous! There is lady specifically she maybe the shift supervisor but she has the worst attitude. The moral is low and I'm sure it's due to her. She needs coaching or should not work there! I've been contemplating posting about this for a while but today was the last straw, I get the worst customer service if Ashleigh the manager is working, I cringe with anxiety if she is there, when you tell her you're paying cash she instantly gets pissed off and disgruntled, if she's doing a task in the back she will continue to do that task until she is done before helping a customer. Ashleigh hates her job and obviously hates customer service and yet she's the manager. Heaven forbid you want to add something to an order or have a question because she'll freak out on you for anything even the simplest of questions. Worst service I've ever experienced anywhere. Joanna G. was extremely rude and unhelpful. It was obvious they were trying to close up and get out of there well before the official store closing time. I entered the store and was greeted by her angry glare. She asked "what do you want" and before I could even finish speaking she grabbed a blender and angrily slammed things around to make my drink. At this point I was extremely uncomfortable and wanted to walk out and actually said, "you know, never mind, it's ok, I don't want it" but she had already started making the drink and barked at her co worker guy to ring me up and I nervously asked him if I could add a boost and order two other drinks (since she cut me off before I could finish ordering). He was kind and I felt really bad he had to work with her, seems like she might be his boss or shift lead. When he told her about my other drinks, she didn't even try to hide her frustration. When I received my order she didn't say a word, just slammed them on the counter, no thank you, no have a nice night. This is a new location. I had a taste for my Strawberries Wild. When I tried placing the order they told me they were out of bananas. They told me I could sub the banana for something else, I was hesitant because I only order that one thing. I decided to sub the banana for blueberries and it wasn't too bad. Extremely poor service. Came a few times thinking that maybe the first few visits were off days. I know food service can be a pain and we're all human. On my last visit I entered and it was empty, w/ no customers nor employees out front/on the floor so I stood and waited for a bit for someone to greet me and take my order. After a few moments the woman with long straight dirty blonde hair came out from the back and did NOT greet nor acknowledge me and proceed to make some drinks. This place in literally right off the freeway. It has a little parking lot. The service is ok. Sometimes they can take a little long. They do have a bathroom.
